بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
The present committee of al-Markaz as-Salafi do not prevent anyone from enjoining good and forbidding evil as long as it is carried out with understanding and justice, and within the boundaries of the Sharee-ah.
We have students of knowledge amongst us who stick to the scholars and are well-known for their eagerness for what is of greater benefit for the dawah; therefore, we are not going to allow any overzealous individual or group of people to drag us into irresponsible behaviour and excess speech influenced by rage and anger. We are with the Salafi scholars and the other Salafi Centres throughout the country, co-operating upon Bir and Taqwaa. We are free from the innovators [Abul Fitan Al-Maribi, Maghraawi, Ali Halabi] and their supporters at Masjid As-Sunnah [Cheethamhill-Manchester] and elsewhere.
As for the wrong and injustice that took place in the past, then indeed we found out that many people were innocently dragged into attacking al-Markaz as-Salafi. Those (brothers and siters) who returned to al-Markaz as-Salafi after those events were welcomed and not asked about the past. We still have not asked them about the past and we will not do so in future Inshaa-Allaah. Likewise, we do not claim to be free from mistakes, but the affair was exaggerated by some people which led them to excess. We all committed mistakes and may Allaah forgive us.
On the other hand, if any individual outside the committee wishes to pursue past disputes and seek after his rights, we are not able to prevent him from doing so. However, al-Markaz as-Salafi is free from this and we will not pursue anyone for those past disputes.
Individuals and groups outside the masjid Committee are responsible for their actions and the choices they make in this affair.
Finally, we will not pay any attention to the attention seekers- those who utilise permissible differing in fiqh issues to label their brothers Muqallidoon. And Allaah is witness to their statements.
We advise ourselves and everyone in Manchester to hold onto the scholars and be distanced from the people of innovation and Tamyee. Likewise, we advise the brothers and sisters in Manchester to attend or benefit from the study circles of our brother Abu Mu-aadh Taqweem Aslam at the Salafi Centre Manchester, the lecturers of Abu ‘Iyaad & Abu Mu’aadh inn Bradford Masjid As Sunnah and at Maktabah Salafiyyah [Abu Suhaib As-Somaali, Abu Hakeem -Bilaal Davis, Abdul Waahid -Abu Khadeejah, Abu Idrees, Abu Iyaad-Amjad Rafiq, Abu Abdir Rahmaan Mehdi Al-Maghribee] and the other virtuous brothers in the other centres such as the likes of Hasan As-Somaali, Uwais At-Taweel, Abdul Ilaah Lahmaami Al-Maghribee, Abul Hasan Maalik, Kashif Khan and others.
The Statement We made In 2005 stating that we have abandoned all the disputes
All Praise is due to Allaah and may His Peace and Blessings be upon His Noble Messenger Muhammad Ibn Abdullaah sallallaahu alayhi was sallam. To proceed…
In accordance with the advice of the scholars such as Shaykh Rabee’, Shaykh ‘Ubayd Al-Jaabiree and others, as well as the advices of Shaykh Falaah Ismaa’eel given to the Salafis in the UK and West, we ask all of our brothers and sisters to aid us uniting the Salafis upon true brotherhood (and sisterhood).
‘Markaz As Salafi Bi Manchester’ as it has been renamed, wishes to make it known to all that our aim is not to repel anyone from the Dawah. We wish to distance ourselves from all the disputing that took place in the past and to promote a fresh and new start with an atmosphere of understanding and co-operation upon the authentic Sunnah.
Our co-operation, love and brotherhood is with every Salafi who holds the correct positions in accordance with the rulings of the Scholars such as Shaykh Al-Fawzaan, Shaykh Rabee’, Shaykh Ahmad An-Najmee, Shaykh Ubayd Al-Jaabiree and other than them. All of that based upon knowledge. Our aim is not to repel anyone from the Salafi Dawah nor do we make excuses for errors we may have fallen into by way of our mannerisms and dealings. There is no doubt harm has been dealt out and received, however now is the time to leave off all of that for the sake of Allaah and His Deen. Shaykh Rabee’ has stated on more than one occasion that all disputes should stop and that we start a ‘new page’. Allaah, the Most High, has stated: “Do not fall into disagreement as you strength will whither away.”
This is our stance and we ask all the brothers and sisters to forgive and reflect upon the advice of our Ulema. Our Masjid cannot be blamed for any undesirable events that take place by way of the actions of others. We advise all who witnessed these disputes to refer to Shaykh Rabee Hafidhahullaah. We are with the Ulemah in whatever they say (based upon evidence and with the correct understanding). We welcome back the men, women and children to ‘Markaz As Salafi Bi Manchester’ (formerly ‘Darul Hadith’).
