Is Imaam Ibnul Qayyim doctor of the hearts–Shaikh Fawzaan comments

Question:

Some of the people say that Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) is the doctor of the hearts due to the abundance of what has been spoken of in his books in this field?

Answer:

The doctor of the hearts is the Messenger (sallal-lahu-alayhi-wasallam).  Ibnul Qayyim is one who manifested the medicine of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) (and) he is not the doctor of the hearts.  The Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) is the doctor of the hearts.
