Thorns that do but Perforate – the 6th perforation

Thaabit ibn Dahhaak narrated,: “A man made a vow to sacrifice a camel at a place known as Buwaana so he asked the prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم about it, so he صلى الله عليه و سلم said,”Did the place have any idol that is worshipped from the idols of jaahiliyyah?” They said, “no”. He صلى الله عليه و سلم said, “Was there in it celebrated an ‘eid from amongst their eids (recurring festivity)?”, they said, “no”. So the prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said, “Fulfill your vow, verily there is no fulfillment of a vow in the disobedience of Allah…..” [al-hadeeth] (Abu Daud)

Our noble scholars have mentioned as one of the benefits of this hadeeth: The guidance of the prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم in establishing the details of a situation before speaking upon it. [Refer to explanations of kitab at-Tawhid, chapter concerning not slaughtering in a place where slaughtering for other than Allah occurs]

Similarly our noble Shaikh ibn al-Uthaymeen stated concerning enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, “

“So it is a must upon the one who enjoins the good and the one who forbids the evil to know that this affair that he is commanding with is actually from the affairs that Allah has commanded with and that this affair that he is forbidding from is actually from the affairs that Allah has forbidden…….

and also it is a must after we comprehend that this (particular) affair is actually good to be enjoined and that this (particular) affair is actually evil to be forbidden, we must know that this (particular) individual has indeed left an affair that is to be enjoined and that this (particular) individual has indeed fallen into a forbidden affair…..” [Shaikh Uthaymeen’s official website]

Once again indicating clearly the need to establish the details of a situation before speaking or engaging in debate or discussion upon it and before advising an individual in either way.

Consider therefore the actions of an individual who sits, discusses, debates and arranges agreements and a concensus on affairs relating to the stances toward madeenah.com and its members… based upon principles unknown… then declare they are being misquoted after the proverbial milk is no longer in its bottle.

Know that the scholars with insight and detail, have already detailed our stances towards the organisation and its individuals…

It is not advisable to involve ourselves in affairs that do not concern us, or indeed affairs that we have no knowledge of lest we make incorrect judgements and decisions and agreements, may that be a lesson to all in accordance to the guidance of the prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم.
