Calling A Non-Muslim To Islam Who Doesn’t Know Arabic | Al-‘Allâmah Sâlih al-Fawzân

Question:

“I called a Christian to Islam and he said inshaa ‘Allah (I will become muslim), so started talking to him about Islam, Paradise and the Fire, but he does not understand Arabic very well. I said to him say: I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped (in truth) but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His messenger. He said as I did, so I said to him you are a Muslim but did not [really] know what I said to him. What is the ruling on that?”

Al-‘Allâmah Sâlih al-Fawzân:

“The ruling on that is that you should take him to [the Islamic] educational charities for [minority] communities, they have activities and they have things that they can give to those who are new to Islam. So take him to [one of the Islamic] educational charities for [minority] communities.”
