Imaam Ahmad (rahimahullaah) said:

The (act) of opposition of those in opposition to the (truth) only occurs due to their little knowledge of what the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) came with (of guidance) [Ilaam Muwaqqi’een: 1/44]
