[4] Mission Impossible or Impassable?! [A notification to the speaker that the recommendations of the scholars for the students are not to be utilised as a veil to promote hizbiyyoon and deviants!]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

The speaker-whilst defending Greenlane’s Admin- stated that the student of knowledge and the believer should take knowledge from those whom the scholars have recommended, whether people like it or not…..

Response: This statement of the speaker is true but it cannot be utilised to shield the people of hizbiyyah and the deviants. Al-Allaamah Ubaid Al-Jaabiri (may Allaah preserve him) stated:

A scholar from Ahlus Sunnah is only a human. He can be distracted and forgetful, and he can be deceived by evil people; or he used to consider a man to be trustworthy–who has now been declared untrustworthy–and he deceives him. The witnesses to this affair are many because many of those whose status has been dropped– due to being declared unreliable based on evidence–are in reality people who wage war against the Sunnah and its people.  So they come along with copies of their books and read it to the distinguished scholars–those considered to be people of leadership and virtue in the religion- whilst the affair of this trickster and plotter is hidden from that noble scholar, which had he known of it the status of this person would have dropped in his eyes. So this scholar gives praise based on what he heard. And if the book (of this trickster) is printed, it is disseminated and transmitted by his supporters and they spread a good reputation about him. Thus there are those who argue saying, “such and such praised him-Al-Albaanee (rahimahullaah), or Ibn Baaz (rahimahullaah) or Ibn Al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) praised this book. However these scholars are excused; rather this trickster was hidden from that scholar.

So, what remains? We establish the evidence against this ‘deceiver, trickster, intrigant and plotter’ from his books.  We establish the manifest clarifications against him from his books and we say to the one who argues with us, “Take it, this is his speech.” Therefore, it is obligatory on you to be fair and to be free from that wild and zealous attachment, and the desires that blind a person. It is obligatory upon you that your search should be for the truth. [End of quote: Slightly Paraphrased and Abridged: See Link: www.sahab.net/home/?p=329]

Indeed, the speaker suggests that one should be (كيِّس –Smart!) and (فطِن – discerning!) therefore we ask him the following questions:

*Is it from smartness and discernment that a person turns a blind eye to the crimes of those who openly promote the people of bidah and hizbiyyah just because they have been visited by personalities who have recommendations from the scholars?!

*Is it from smartness and discernment that Greenlane’s Admin co-operates with the deviants of Ihyaa Turaath and Al-Maghrib institute in the name of Salafiyyah?!

*Is it from smartness and discernment that Greenlane’s Admin invites Adnaan Abdul Qaadir (the student of the Takfeeri-Revolutionist Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq) in the name of Salafiyyah; however you (the speaker) want us to behave like silent devils by hiding the verdicts of the scholars against those who co-operate with affiliates of ahlul bidah?!

*Is it from smartness and discernment that Greenlane’s Admin deliberately promotes those who defend the deviants Adnaan Ar’oor, Salmaan Al-Awdah, Safar and Aa’idh Al-Qarni, so we keep quiet and refrain from transmitting the verdicts of the scholars …?!

*Is it from smartness and discernment that we keep quiet about Greenlanee’s Admin after they have deliberately sheltered the deviant Abu Usaamah-a man who openly defends Mubtadia, such as Al-Maribi, Al-Halabi; rather he even transmits praise for the Ikhwaani Mubtadi Yusuf Al-Qaradaawi…etc

*If it is the case that you (the speaker) are aware of Greenlane’s alliance with ahlul bidah (i.e. Ihyaa Turaath, Al-Maghrib Institute etc), then would it be regarded as smartness and discernment that you defend them and speculate about those who unveil their crimes….!!! Indeed, this is neither smartness nor discernment, rather it is injustice. Allaah (The Most High) said:

‘’O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do.’’

Finally: Indeed, it should be absolutely clear to every person who utilises smartness and discernment that taking shelter behind the recommendations of scholars, whilst deliberately promoting the people of hizbiyyah and those who defend innovators is an act of treachery. We ask Allaah for Ikhlaas, Thabaat and Husnul Khaatimah.. Aaameen
