[3/9] Remedying the heavy and tight chest – Ibn Al-Qayyim

Ibn Al-Qayyim – rahimahu Allah said:

Likewise, from among them [i.e. the causes that alleviate the chest] is knowledge. For it truly alleviates the chest, expanding it until it becomes more expansive than the whole world. As for ignorance, it brings about tightening, confinement and repression.

So whenever the knowledge of the servant broadens, his chest likewise broadens and expands. However, this is not applicable to all fields of knowledge. Rather, it is [specific] to the bequeathed knowledge left by the Messenger ﷺ, which is the beneficial form of knowledge.

Therefore, its people [i.e. the people of knowledge] possess the most alleviated chests amongst humankind, the most expansive of hearts among them, the best of them in character, of those living the pleasantest of lives.

[2/9] Remedying the heavy and tight chest – Ibn Al-Qayyim

Ibn Al-Qayyim – rahimahu Allah – said:

Likewise, from among them [i.e. the causes that alleviate the chest] is the light that Allah casts in to the heart of the slave. It is the light of imaan, for indeed it alleviates and widens the chest and brings joy to the heart.

So if this light is lost from the heart of the slave, it [i.e. his heart] becomes narrow and uneasy. He [i.e. the slave] ends up in the most constricted and difficult of prisons.

Indeed At-Tirmidhi narrated in his Al-Jaami’, from the Prophet ﷺ that he said:

“إذا دَخَلَ النور القلبَ، انْفَسَحَ وانشرحَ». قالوا: وما عَلاَمَةُ ذَلِكَ يَا رسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قال: «الإنَابَةُ إلى دارِ الخُلُودِ، والتَجَافِي عَنْ دَارِ الغُرُورِ، والاسْتِعْدادُ للمَوْتِ قَبْلَ نُزوله”.

“If light enters the heart, it [i.e. the heart] widens and becomes alleviated”. They said: “And what is the sign of that O Allah’s Messenger”? He said: “The [desire for] returning to the abode of eternity, forsaking the abode of delusion and preparing for death before its arrival”.

So the slave receives that degree of alleviation to his chest in accordance to the degree of light that he receives. Likewise, concerning perceivable light and perceivable darkness; the former alleviates the chest and the latter constricts it.

[1/9] Remedying the heavy and tight chest – Ibn Al-Qayyim

Ibn Al-Qayyim – rahimahu Allah – said:

The greatest cause of alleviating the chest is tawheed. In accordance to the degree of its perfection, strength and increase does the person’s chest proportionately experience that alleviation. Allah The Most High has said:

﴿أَفَمَن شَرَحَ اللَّهُ صَدْرَهُ لِلإسْلامِ فَهُوَ عَلَى نُورٍ مِّنْ رَبِّه﴾ [الزمر: 22]

Can he whose chest Allah has opened up to Islam and who is thus upon a light from his Lord (be likened to one who is not like that)? [Az-Zumar: 22]

And He – The Most High – said:

﴿فَمَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَن يَهْدِيَهُ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُ لِلإسْلاَمِ وَمَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّهُ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُ ضَـيِّقًا حَرَجاً كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِي السَّمَاءِ﴾ [الأنعام: 125]

Thus, whomsoever Allah wills to guide, He opens his chest to Islam; and whomsoever He wills to let go astray, He causes his chest to become strait and constricted, as if he is being raised into the sky. [Al-An’aam: 125]

Therefore, guidance and tawheed are among the greatest of causes in alleviating the chest. Whereas polytheism and misguidance are among the greatest of causes in constraining and discomforting the chest.

Reminder to Bogus SalafiEvents UK and Lost Abdurrahmaan Hasan: The Meeting Between Shaikh Ahmad An-Najmi and Deviant Aa’id Al-Qarni

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Shaikh Khaalid Abdur-Rahmaan Al-Misri speaks about the meeting between Al-Allaamah Ahmad An-Najmi (rahimahullaah) and the deviant Aa’idh Al-Qarni (may Allaah guide him)

Once during Hajj, whilst Shaikh Ahmad An-Najmi (rahimahullaah) was at Mina, Aa’idh Al-Qarnee came along with his students and entered. Aa’idh kissed the Shaikh’s hand and forehead and praised him, saying: By Allaah Shaikh! We love you for the sake of Allaah; you are from the scholars of Hadeeth and the Fuqahaa.’’ So after praising the Shaikh, he sat down and said: O Shaikh we consider you an Imaam, a Faqeeh and an Aalim; however it has been reported to me from some of your students that you spoke against me. So the Shaikh said to him: Who are you? He said: I am Aaidh Al-Qarni.’’ The Shaikh said: Yes, you are the author of such and such book, and the owner of such and such cassette. I heard your statement and in my view you are a Mubtadi. He said; By Allaah O Shaikh! These were previous statements and I have recanted. The Shaikh said: khalas! Good! Just as you manifested your innovations, likewise manifest your repentance and recantation. If you do so, we will commend you based on what you manifested just as we did disparage you based on what you manifested….

[1] Clapping and Whistling: If they are not permissible for men out of necessity, then its prohibition when there is no necessity is even a stronger reason!- By Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahhaab (rahimahullaah) said: ‘’They (i.e. the pre-Islamic people of ignorance) carried out worship by whistling and clapping their hands.’’

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan (may Allaah preserve him) said:

From the affairs (i.e. practices) of the Pre-Islamic days of Ignorance that the Messenger of Allaah [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] opposed them (i.e. the idolaters) was that they carried out worship-seeking closeness to Allaah- through whistling and clapping. Allaah (The Most High) said:

وَمَا كَانَ صَلاَتُهُمْ عِندَ الْبَيْتِ إِلاَّ مُكَاء وَتَصْدِيَةً َ

“And their prayer at the House (Ka’bah) was nothing but whistling and clapping of hands [Surah Al-Anfaal:35]

That is: The polytheists did not seek closeness to Allaah at the noble kabah, except through whistling and clapping.

Al-Mukaa means whistling and Tasdeeyah means clapping with the two hands and palms. They used to do this at the House of Allaah and named it prayer- seeking nearness to Allaah (Glorified and Exalted Be He) by way of it. This is from the [affairs] the shayaateen among mankind and jinn made fair seeming to them. That is because worship cannot be (carried out) except through that which Allaah (Glorified and Exalted Be He) has legislated; it is Tawqeefiyyah (i.e. established by the texts of the Qur’aan and authentic Sunnah). A person should not bring about anything (i.e. acts of worship) from (him/herself) or take it from someone else, while it is not legislated by Allaah to be established as worship to Allaah and nor does it have any origin in the Islamic legislation. And from this the prohibition of these two traits -whistling and clapping- can be established, even if a person does not intend to perform worship through them. Because there is resemblance to the polytheists in that.

And (with regards) to clapping, the Prophet [Sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] specifically permitted it for the women when there is a need, such as informing the Imaam (i.e. by clapping) if he makes a mistake in the prayer. And that is because of the fitnah-if men are present- that may take place from her voice. It is neither permissible for a man to imitate the Kuffaar nor a women by way of clapping.

And if it the case that clapping is not permissible for men out of necessity with regards to informing the Imaam when he makes a mistake in the prayer, rather he informs the Imaam by way of Tasbeeh [i.e. saying سبحان الله], then it not being allowed when there is no necessity is even a stronger reason. And in this there is rebuttal against those men who whistle in the gatherings in resemblance to the kuffaar. [Source: Sharh Masaa-il Al-Jaahiliyyah. Page:104-105. Slightly paraphrased]

Bogus SalafiEvents UK: Shameless Promoters of Abdurrahmaan Hasan, who co-operates with Murtaza Khan!

Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said:

Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said: ”And Imaan is known about a man, just as all the states of his heart are known by way of his (outward) allegiances, enmities, his rejoicing, anger, hunger, thirst, and other such affairs. For these matters have certain outward binding necessities (lawaazim dhaahirah) and the outward matters necessitate inward matters. And this is a matter known, the people know this concerning the one that they have experienced and tested (jarraboohu wamtahinoohu)… [minhaaj-as-sunnah 8/475] [Translation: Salafipublications.com]

Allah’s will is tied to His knowledge and wisdom – Shaikh Ibn Uthaimeen

Shaikh Ibn ‘Uthaimeen said:

Everything [brought about] by the will of Allah is coupled with His wisdom. That is because Allah The Mighty and Majestic doesn’t simply ordain mere decrees, but rather His decree comes from His wisdom. The proof of that is His statement The Most High:

But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. (76:30)

His statement The Most High “Indeed, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise” indicates that His wisdom is tied to knowledge and wisdom.

A Warning Against The Deceptive Salafi Events’’ Must Read

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

SalafiEventsUK have recently been exposed for having promotional material for the likes of Yasir Qadhi and the disgraceful Abu Eesa Niamatullah of al-Maghrib Institute on their masjid walls – the exact same masjid they are now holding the quick ‘cover up’ conference in to divert attention away from the embarrassing exposure.

In this quick cover-up conference they have invited an individual by the name of Abdurahman Hasan, and have lavishly promoted him as having ‘studied under’ Shaykh Abdul Muhsin and Shaykh Fawzan, (even they had enough sense to realize phrasing it as “student of Shaykh Abdul Muhsin and Shaykh Fawzan” would not have fooled anyone, hence the watered down – yet still lavish – version “studied under”).

There is one piece of information SalafiEventsUK failed to inform everyone – rather conveniently – and instead kept it under careful guard concealed; the name of another “Shaykh” this foolish humiliated (by the Takfeeries) Abdurahman Hasan studied with. You will soon realize why…

His name is Abu Ishaaq al-Huwayni from Egypt. So who is he? The Salafi scholars will inform you….

➡️Shaykh Muqbil: Whilst answering a question and mentioning that it’s not necessary someone who does not have salafi cassettes and books is not salafi however “we must look to whom they associate with and befriend? Do they affiliate with innovators? Yes, like Abdurahman Abdul Khaaliq and Abu Ishaaq al-Huwayni  – these two are considered from the innovators. Yes indeed, similarly, Safar (al hiwaly) and Salman (al Awda) also are (all) considered from the innovators….”

https://youtu.be/g5QN073MsRE

➡️Shaykh Ahmed an-Najmy:

Q: What is the state of all the following – Muhammad al-Maghrawi, Abu Ishaaq al-Huwayni, Hussein Ya’qoob?

A: That which I know about Muhammad al-Maghrawy is that he is Takfeery, and Abu Ishaaq al-Huwayni also, and he is from the friends of Abul-Hasan and his supporters, as for Hussein Ya’qoob I do not know him”.

➡️Shaykh Rabee’ al-Madkhaly:

“For years I have not answered (regarding Huwayni), I wanted to delay regarding his affair, I wanted to debate him (over his errors), I sent him advices, but (he hasn’t changed) he is as he was, he doesn’t increase in anything except further distancing himself from the Salafi Methodology, and increasing in unity with the Qutbees, so this is his state, this is his state now. He claims to be from ahlus Sunnah yet gets closer to the people of innovation, and associate with them and unite with them”.

Please do not be confused by these deceptive individuals “SalafiEventsUK”. They support hizbees and work with them (from masjid sunnah Cheetham Hill who cut the phone line on purpose on Sh Rabee when he was going to refute their shaykh abul hasan Mariby the innovator), they promote al Maghrib on their walls, they had syed qutb books available to the public – until they were exposed.

They now invite the foolish Abdurahman Hasan who thought he could debate the Takfeeries and instead ended up in national humiliation for himself after they defeated him, the Takfeeries were jubilant posting up the video everywhere after their victory.

They invite Abul Abbas Naveed, the known liar, a defender of GLM who lectures with them, a defender of Abu Osama Dhahaby. A member of the refuted madeenahdotcon.

The advice is to STAY AWAY, do not attend these events of theirs. Protect your religion. Do not end up with almaghrib or GLM or with Abu Osama Dhahaby through SalafiEventsUK. BaarakAllahu feekum.

Please forward and advise your friends & family to stay away from these deceptive individuals.

Knowledge of Allah’s names and attributes; a cause of increase in imaan – Shaykh Ibn Uthaimeen

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaimeen said:

Among the causes that bring about increase in one’s imaan is having knowledge of Allah’s names and attributes. Whenever the slave increases in awareness of them, of their implications and effects, then imaan in His Rabb will [consequently] increase, as well as love and veneration of Him. Likewise, contemplating over the universal and legislative signs, whenever the slave observes them, pondering over their amazing power and their superb wisdom (of Allah demonstrated within them), then his imaan will without doubt increase.
