[11] The Muslim Doctor and The Aim Behind Medicine- [Should Treat The Patient Kindly]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Shaikh Muhammad Baazmool (may Allaah preserve him) stated in Akhlaaq At-tabeeb al-Muslim’ page 16 that the Muslim doctor should be lenient when charging for medical services and should be gentle when speaking and dealing with a patient.

The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: “Verily, Allah is Kind and He loves kindness….”[Ref 1]

He (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam), ‘’Indeed, Allaah loves kindness in all affairs’’. [Ref 2]

He (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said, ”He who is deprived of kindness is deprived of goodness”.[Ref 3]
