[11] The Muslim Doctor and The Aim Behind Medicine- [Should Treat The Patient Kindly]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

The Muslim doctor should be lenient when charging for medical services and should be gentle when speaking and dealing with a patient.

The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: “Verily, Allah is Kind and He loves kindness….”[Ref 1]

He (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam), ‘’Indeed, Allaah loves kindness in all affairs’’. [Ref 2]

He (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said, ”He who is deprived of kindness is deprived of goodness”.[Ref 3]
