In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

If the basis of the Deen is Taqleed and not Ittibaa, then why did Allaah send the Prophets with signs and proofs to convince the people?! The one who says that it is just natural that a seeker of knowledge will make Taqleed of  the teacher because this is the case with any other profession a person pursues- that he solely relies on the teacher due to trust! Then the answer to this is that even though the Prophets and Messengers were the most trustworthy amongst their people before they were sent with the Message and even though the people loved and honoured them before they were sent, and considered them truthful; however Allaah still gave them proofs and evidences to convince the people.
