The Majority of Mankind Are Ungrateful to Allaah, So Go Not With The Flow; Rather Act In Obedience to Allaah
In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy
Allaah [The Most High] says in Surah Sabah Ayah 13:
[ٱعۡمَلُوٓاْ ءَالَ دَاوُ ۥدَ شُكۡرً۬اۚ وَقَلِيلٌ۬ مِّنۡ عِبَادِىَ ٱلشَّكُورُ – Work you, O family of Dawud (David), with thanks! But few of My slaves are grateful]; meaning: The majority of Mankind are neither grateful to Allaah for the blessings bestowed on them nor are they grateful due to the punishments that are repelled from them. As for Shukr [gratefulness] is the heart’s acknowledgement of Allaah’s blessings and to use those blessings in obedience to Allaah and not in disobedience.
