Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadi [may Allaah preserve him] said: He [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said: “The one who lives after me will see a lot of differing, so you must adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Rightly-Guided Khulafaa; adhere to it with your molar teeth [i.e. adhere to it firmly], and beware of the newly-invented matters [in the religion].”  [Abu Daawud’ Number 4607]

All affairs – in Aqeedah, Ibaadah and every [other] affair, it is obligatory to urge the Ummah to reject every newly matter in the religion, to turn away from it, warn against it and warn against its people.
