In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Shaikh Rabee [may Allaah preserve him] said: The scholars are constantly concious of Allaah [The Blessed and Exalted]. They fear Allaah and they fulfil the trusts that are obligated on them to fulfil in the best manner. They realise their shortcomings – neither brag about this knowledge [they possess] nor boast about their deeds, because whoever brags about his deeds is destroyed – and Allaah’s refuge is sought. Rather, they worship Allaah by way of the knowledge [they possess] – with sincerity and truthfulness. They seek nearness to Allaah by way of that, whilst being aware of their incapabilities, weakness and shortcomings regardless how much [service] they’ve given to the Ummah through their beneficial sciences and righteous efforts.
