In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

A brother referred to Shaikh Ubaid [may Allaah preserve him] as Al-Allaamah, so the Shaikh said: “I call Allaah to witness and the angels that indeed I am not Allaamah; rather I am Ubaid Bin Sulaymaan Al-Jaabiri. This is what my father named me.”
