Shaytaan Calls to Bidah!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadi [hafidhahullaah] said:

The methodologies of misguidance lead to the hell fire-Allaah’s refuge is sought-and bidah leads its people to the fire, whereas the Book of Allaah and the [authentic] Sunnah of the Messenger [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] lead to Paradise.  [Allaah (The Most High) said]:

وَاللَّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَىٰ دَارِ السَّلَامِ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ

Allah calls to the home of peace (i.e. Paradise, by accepting Allah’s religion of Islamic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds and abstaining from polytheism and evil deeds) and guides whom He wills to a Straight Path. [Soorah Yunus: Ayah 25]

Allaah calls to the home of peace [i.e. paradise] and the Prophets are callers to this Paradise; but shaytaan and his party are callers to the blazing fire.  [Allaah (The Most High) said]:

إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا ۚ إِنَّمَا يَدْعُو حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُوا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ

Surely, Shaitan (Satan) is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy. He only invites his Hizb (followers) that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire.’’ [Surah Faatir. Ayah 6]

Shaytaan calls to bidah and imposes it on his misguided patrons in order to lead them to the fire and cast them into the blazing fire.  And as you know, there is bidah that is tantamount to Shirk Akbar; and there is bidah that is tantamount to Shirk As’ghar; and there is bidah that is tantamount to Kufr Akbar and Kufr As’ghar; and there is bidah that is tantamount to Major Sins and there is bidah that is tantamount to Major Sins that are greater than other Major sins.  It [bidah] is evil upon evil-Allaah’s refuge is sought-and it leads and guides its people to the fire, and Allaah’s Refuge is sought.

The Angels Supplicate For The Believers; Why?!- [A Brief Faa’idah By Shaikh Abdur Razzaaq Al-Badr]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The Angels were created from light and the (origin) of the children of Aadam is clay; however Sound Aqeedah creates a bond between these two creatures- Angels and the pious people amongst the children of Aadam. Allaah (The Most High) said:

Those (angels) who bear the Throne (of Allaah) and those around it glorify the praises of their Lord, and believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allaah) (saying): ‘’Our Lord! You comprehend all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your way, and save them from the torment of the blazing fire.’’ [40:7]

The angels believe in Allaah and constantly supplicate to Allaah. They ask Allaah to forgive the believers and to enter them into paradise.  This is a great and amazing bond despite the fact that they (angels) are a different from humans, however it is the sound Aqeedah that unites their hearts. [1] Likewise, the righteous slaves of Allaah amongst human beings love the angels. [2]

Ahlus Sunnah Refute a Mukhaalif Solely Due to His Deviations And They Refrain From Personal Attacks!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Al-Allaamah Ubaid Al-Jaabiri [may Allaah preserve him] said: When they [i.e. Ahlus Sunnah] speak against anyone amongst the people, it is not due to his lineage, tallness, shortness or specific traits etc. This does not hold any value in their view. They speak against a Mukhaalif [i.e. the one in opposition to the truth] due to the corruptness of his methodology. They speak against the [deviated] groups and individuals who are in opposition- not because of their personalities; rather due to their deviation from guidance, the true religion, the path of the believers [i.e. the Sahaabah] and the [authentic] Sunnah of the leader of the Messengers [i.e. Muhammad (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam)]

They Exalted Worldly Possessions And Status Until That Led Them to Question Allaah Regarding Who Should Be Sent As a Messenger!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Imaam Muhammad Bin Abdul Wahhaab [rahimahullaah] stated in Masaa-ilil Jaahiliyyah: [The Worldly Life Was Exalted In Their Hearts, as Allaah [The Exalted] Said [that They Said]: [ لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ۬ مِّنَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَتَيۡنِ عَظِيمٍ – Why is not this Qur’aan sent down to some great man of the two towns]. [Surah Az-Zukhruf, Aayah 31]

One of the traits of the [people] of Al-Jaahiliyyah [i.e. the people who lived during the Pre-Islamic Era of Ignorance] was that the worldly life was exalted in their hearts; so, they regarded the one who possessed [the things of the worldly life] to be honourable and the one who was not in possession of the [things of the worldly life] to be of lowly [status] and despised. And even in the affair of Risaalah [Messengership], which is Allaah’s [absolute choice to choose the one He decides to send as a Messenger], they saw that it should be given to the rich people and not the poor people.  And they said, “Allaah found [none], except an orphan of Abu Taalib to send [as a Messenger]? They were referring to Muhammad [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam]. [   لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ۬ مِّنَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَتَيۡنِ عَظِيمٍ – And they say: “Why is not this Qur’aan sent down to some great man of the two towns]. [Surah Az-Zukhruf. Aayah 31]. The two towns are Makkah and Madina; and that [great man] in Makkah is Waleed Bin Mugheerah or Habeeb Bin Amr Ath-thaqafee; and it is said that the great man in Taa’if is Urwa Bin Mas’ood.

The people of Al-Jaahiliyyah [i.e. the people who lived during the Pre-Islamic Era of Ignorance] said, “If the message was given to one of those two great men, it would have been befitting to be [regarded] a message, but it does not befit them to think that it is given to a poor orphan [i.e. Muhammad-sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam]. Allaah [The Exalted] said [in response to them]: [ أَهُمۡ يَقۡسِمُونَ رَحۡمَتَ رَبِّكَ‌ۚ – Is it they who would portion out the mercy of your Lord] [Surah Az-Zukhruf. Aayah 32] – Meaning: They interfered in Allaah’s [choice, decrees, decisions etc]. They wanted to portion out Allaah’s Mercy and did not testify to what Allaah portioned out [of His Mercy], even though [ٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ حَيۡثُ يَجۡعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُ – Allaah knows best with whom to place his message] [Surah Al-An’aam. Aayah 24]

Fighting During Fitna Is Unpraiseworthy But It Is Praiseworthy to Fight Against The Khawaarij Under The Banner of The Muslim Ruler

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [rahimahullaah] said: And because of this [i.e. the destructive consequences of fighting during fitna], the Prophet [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] did not praise anyone who participated in fighting at the battle of Al-Jamal and Siffeen, let alone what took place in Madeenah on the day of Al-Harrah; neither [is there any praise regarding] the siege against Ibn Zubayr nor what took place in the fitna of Ibn Al-Ash’ath, Ibn Al-Muhallab and other than them; rather it has been reported from the Prophet [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] though a sizable number of narrators that the khawaarij are to be fought – those whom Ali [Ameerul Mumineen] fought against at Nahrawaan after they rebelled against him at Harooraa.

The narrations in the Sunnah reported from the Prophet [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] shows in detail that they [i.e. Khawaarij] are to be fought against. Therefore, Ali [radiyallaahu-anhu] was happy when he fought them, and he narrated ahaadeeth about them. All the Sahaabah agreed to fight them and likewise the Imaams of the people of knowledge after them. They did not consider this fighting [against the Khawaarij] a fitna, as opposed to the fighting at Al-Jamal, As-Siffeen and other incidents of fighting which has no text to justify them- neither through the consensus of the scholars [of Ahlus Sunnah] nor were those incidents of fighting praised by those virtuous people who participated in them, rather they were regretful [afterwards] and abandoned it.

Likewise, Al Hasan always used to indicate to his father and brother [Al Husayn] to abandon fighting. And when the affair was left in his [jurisdiction], he abandoned fighting and brought about peace between the two fighting parties. Likewise, it became clear to Ali [radiyallaahu-anhu] in the latter part of the affair that to abandon fighting carried more benefit than fighting. Also, Al-Husayn [radiyallaahu-anhu] was not murdered except due to being oppressed and killed as a martyr, after he abandoned seeking after authority and sought to return to his country, or to the seaport, or to be taken to Yazeed the ruler. Toobaa [Paradise And Happiness] Is For The Strangers- Those Who Rectify When The People Become Corrupt or Rectify What The People Have Corrupted

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Yunus Ibn Ubaid [rahimahullaah] said, “How remarkable today are those who call to the Sunnah.  Even more remarkable are those who respond and accept the Sunnah”.

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan commented saying: The Sunnah has become strange and those who call to it have become strange, and even stranger are those who act upon it.  No doubt there will be times when there will be strangeness with respect to the Sunnah and its people.  As time elapses the Sunnah will become strange and Ahlus Sunnah are the strangers; for that reason he (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: “Islaam began as a strange thing and it will return being strange. So Toobaa is for the strangers.  They said, ‘Who are the strangers O Messenger of Allaah?’  He said, ‘those who will rectify when the people become corrupt’.  And in another narration, [he (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam)] said, ‘They rectify that which the people have corrupted’”.

These are the strangers during the end of time.  They hold onto the Sunnah when the people become corrupt.  They exercise patience upon that which touches them of harm.  They exercise patience upon (this) strangeness amongst the people; because those who oppose them are numerous, for they are in strangeness amongst the people. Those Who Deliberately Commend Ahlul Bidah And Attack Ahlus Sunnah Are Sinners – [A Reminder For Muhammad Al-Hijaab and His Ilk]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Imaam Barbahaaree [rahimahullaah] stated: “If you see a man speaking well of Ibn Abee Du’aad, Al-Mareesee, Thumaamah, Abul Hudhail or Hishaam Al-Footee or any of their adherents, beware of him because he is an innovator.  These people were upon apostasy, so leave this man who spoke well of them and whomever he mentioned of them”.

‘If you see a man speaking well of Ibn Abee Du’aad, Al-Mareesee, Thumaamah, Abul Hudhail or Hishaam Al-Footee’

Shaikh Saaleh Al- Fawzaan [hafidhahullaah] commented saying: “If you see a man commending the people of evil and the scholars of misguidance, such as these off shoots of the Jahmiyyah, then know that he is a sinful one, a corrupter and a misguided one, because he praises them not except that he loves them and approves of their path.

And if you see a man commending Ahlus Sunnah, such as the likes of Imaam Ahmad and Ibnul Mubaarak, and likewise commending the Scholars of the Taabi’een and those who came after them, then know that he is a good person, because he commends not Ahlus Sunnah except that he loves the Sunnah and holds unto it.

This teaches us a lesson [due to the fact that] some of the brothers or some of the students of knowledge commend some of the innovators or the people of desires and deviated views, whilst not examining their views and orientations.  They attack and find fault with the people of goodness; because they lend an ear to those who find fault with them and believe them.  This is a severe danger.

If you find fault with the good people – the people of knowledge and Ahlus Sunnah- and commend the people of deviated views and orientations, then this is a severe danger even if you do not sit with them.
