Reminder Whenever Obstinate Deviants Amongst Ahlul Bidah In The West Or Elsewhere – Those Refuted Due Their Bidah, Sophistry And Philosophy- Seek Attention Through Odd Issues!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Imaam Al-Barbahaari [rahimahullaah] said, “The likeness of the people of innovation is that of scorpions burying their heads and bodies in the sand and leaving their tails out; so when they are able they sting.  Likewise, the people of innovation hide themselves within the people and when they are able, they convey what they desire”. [Tabaqaat al-Hanaabilah: 2/44]

Imaam Shaafi’ee [rahimahullaah] said: “My verdict against the people of philosophical rhetoric is that they be beaten with palm branches striped of their leaves and with shoes, and that they be carried on the back of camels and paraded in the [presence] of clans and tribes, saying, ‘This is the reward of those who abandon the Book and the Sunnah, and consented to Philosophical rhetoric’”. [1]

Imaam Ahmad [rahimahullaah] said: “I am neither a person of philosophical rhetoric nor do I recognise philosophical rhetoric in anything. [I only recognise] that which is found in the Book of Allaah or in the Sunnah of His Messenger [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] [2]

He [rahimahullaah] also said: “A man cannot be from Ahlus Sunnah until he leaves off blameworthy argumentation in the religion, even if he desires to [establish] the Sunnah by way of it’’. [3]

He [rahimahullaah] also said: “’Do not sit with the people of philosophical rhetoric even if they defend the Sunnah’’. [4]

Al-Haafidh Ibn Abdul Barr [rahimahullaah] said: “The people upon the correct understanding of the religion and those who hold unto to the (authentic) narrations of the [Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) and that of the pious predecessors] in all the regions are agreed that the people of philosophical rhetoric are people of bidah and deviation.  (All the scholars) do not consider them to be from those who have been given sound understanding in the religion; rather the scholars are those who hold onto the (authentic) narrations of the [Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) and that of the pious predecessors] and have been given sound understanding in that’’. [5]

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen [rahimahullaah] said: [الطبوليات ] are those Masaa’il (affairs related to the religion) by way of which fame is sought. They are called ‘Tubooliyyaat’ because it is similar to a Tabl (drum) which has a sound and an echo. So when an odd affair comes to the people and a (person) becomes famous by way of it, then it becomes as if it is the sound of a drum. [6]

Al-Allaamah Muqbil Bin Haadee Al-Waadi-ee [rahimahullaah] said: Some of the Hizbiyyoon [illegal partisans] will say: “A scholar amongst the scholars and you call him a barking dog! This is great O Abaa Abdir Rahmaan! A scholar amongst the scholars! The Mufti of Qatar!” Listen to Allaah’s statement:

And recite (O Muhammad) to them the story of him to whom We gave Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but he threw them away, so Shaitan (Satan) followed him up, and he became of those who went astray.  And had We willed, We would surely have elevated him therewith but he clung to the earth and followed his own vain desire. So his description is the description of a dog: if you drive him away, he lolls his tongue out, or if you leave him alone, he (still) lolls his tongue out. Such is the description of the people who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). So relate the stories, perhaps they may reflect.  Evil is the likeness of the people who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses and signs, etc.), and used to wrong their ownselves. [Soorah A’raaf: Ayaat:175-177]

Allaah [The Most High] said:

The likeness of those who were entrusted with the (obligation of the) Taurat (Torah) (i.e. to obey its commandments and to practise its legal laws), but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is as the likeness of a donkey who carries huge burdens of books (but understands nothing from them). [Soorah Al-Juma-ah: Ayah 5]

Allaah [The Most High] said:

Verily! The worst of (moving) living creatures with Allah are the deaf and the dumb, those who understand not. [Soorah Anfaal: Ayah:22]

Allaah [The Most High] said:

Had Allah known of any good in them, He would indeed have made them listen, and even if He had made them listen, they would but have turned away, averse (to the truth).

So I say: Abdullaah Bin Sabah Al-Yahoodee-the one who came from San’a and arrived in Madeenah-manifested asceticism, fear of Allaah, worship and other than that in Islaam; enjoining good and forbidding evil, and thereafter he disseminated trials and became the cause of much trial. Therefore, the Sunni must be recognized as opposed to the hizbiy [illegal partisan].  And I do not say that he [Al-Qaradaawee] is a Christian or a Jew; rather [we have been] asked [about him], for indeed his falsehoods which he makes to resemble the truth are dangerous.
