In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.
Imam Sadi [rahimahullaah] stated:
They [the scholars and teachers] are the intermediary between the Messenger [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] and his Ummah with regards to propagation of the religion and clarification of the Sharee’ah. Had it not been for these ones, the people would have been like cattle. They nurture the souls and hearts of the slaves upon the beneficial sciences and sound knowledge; they are the ones who guide the Ummah in the fundamental and subsidiary affairs of their Religion, and return them to the rulings related to the duties obligated on them and in their dealings, just as they return them to the affairs pertaining to affairs of worship. Through them the Kitaab and the Sunnah are established, and through them is made clear truth from falsehood, guidance as opposed to misguidance, halaal as opposed to haraam, good as opposed to evil, and rectification as opposed to corruption. [Ref 1]
Ash- Sha’bee [rahimahullaah] said, “If you hear anything, write it down even on a wall”.
Abdullaah Ibn Hanash [rahimahullaah] said, “Indeed, I have seen them (i.e. the people) writing on their palms with reeds in Baraa’ah’s presence”.
May Allaah reward Ustaadh Abu Mu’aadh [hafidhahullaah] with abundant good and make him and his loved ones Mubaarak wherever they may be, and likewise bless all our teachers and their families. And may Allaah bless the admin at Salaficentre and their loved ones, and all the other Admins in the various Masaajid and their loved ones, for indeed they have stood firm – by the Tawfeeq of Allaah – to put in place all the government guidelines whilst many of us did nothing or very little. A return to the Masjid and Ilm in the Masjid is priceless. And may Allaah grant all of us beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds Aameen.
