A Brief Reminder – Regarding The Noble Angels of Allaah – In The Face of Those Fujjaar  [Wicked Sinners] Who Seek to Degrade Their Status

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the (only) Originator [or the (only) Creator] of the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels messengers with wings, – two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Verily, Allah is Able to do all things. [Surah Al-Faatir. Aayah 1]

Shaikh Abdur Razzaaq Al-Badr [hafidhahullaah] said:

The Angels were created from light and the (origin) of the children of Aadam is clay; however Sound Aqeedah creates a bond between these two creatures- Angels and the pious people amongst the children of Aadam. Allaah (The Most High) said:

Those (angels) who bear the Throne (of Allaah) and those around it glorify the praises of their Lord, and believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allaah) (saying): ‘’Our Lord! You comprehend all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your way, and save them from the torment of the blazing fire.’’ [40:7]

The angels believe in Allaah and constantly supplicate to Allaah. They ask Allaah to forgive the believers and to enter them into paradise.  This is a great and amazing bond despite the fact that they (angels) are a different from humans, however it is the sound Aqeedah that unites their hearts. [1] Likewise, the righteous slaves of Allaah amongst human beings love the angels. [2]

Allaah [The Most High] said:

Say (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ): “Whoever is an enemy to Jibrael (Gabriel) (let him die in his fury), for indeed he has brought it (this Qur’an) down to your heart by Allah’s Permission, confirming what came before it [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] and guidance and glad tidings for the believers. “Whoever is an enemy to Allah, His Angels, His Messengers, Jibrael (Gabriel) and Mikael (Michael), then verily, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers.” [Surah Al-Baqarah. Aayaat 97-98]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Allah bears witness that La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and the angels, and those having knowledge (also give this witness); (He is always) maintaining His creation in Justice. La ilah illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise [Surah Aal Imraan. Aayah 18]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

O you who believe! Believe in Allah, and His Messenger (Muhammad), and the Book (the Qur’an) which He has sent down to His Messenger, and the Scripture which He sent down to those before (him), and whosoever disbelieves in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Last Day, then indeed he has strayed far away. [Surah An-Nisaa. Aayah 136]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

But Allah bears witness to that which He has sent down (the Qur’an) unto you (O Muhammad), He has sent it down with His Knowledge, and the angels bear witness. And Allah is All-Sufficient as a Witness. [Surah An-Nisaa. Aayah 166]

Allaah [The Exlated] said:

Surely, those who are with your Lord (angels) are never too proud to perform acts of worship to Him, but they glorify His Praise and prostrate before Him. [Surah Al-A’raaf. Aayah 206]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

“Those whose lives the angels take while they are doing wrong to themselves (by disbelief and by associating partners in worship with Allah and by committing all kinds of crimes and evil deeds).” Then, they will make (false) submission (saying): “We used not to do any evil.” (The angels will reply): “Yes! Truly, Allah is All-Knower of what you used to do. [Surah An-Nahl. Aayah 28]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Those whose lives the angels take while they are in a pious state (i.e. pure from all evil, and worshipping none but Allah Alone) saying (to them): Salamun ‘Alaikum (peace be on you) enter you Paradise, because of (the good) which you used to do (in the world).” Do they (the disbelievers and polytheists) await but that the angels should come to them [to take away their souls (at death)], or there should come the command (i.e. the torment or the Day of Resurrection) of your Lord? Thus did those before them. And Allah wronged them not, but they used to wrong themselves. [Surah An-Nahl Aayaat 32-33]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

To Him belongs whosoever is in the heavens and on earth. And those who are near Him (i.e. the angels) are not too proud to worship Him, nor are they weary (of His worship). They (i.e. the angels) glorify His Praises night and day, (and) they never slacken (to do so). [Surah Al-Anbiyaa. Aayaat 19-20]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

And (remember) the Day when the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and the angels will be sent down, with a grand descending. The sovereignty on that Day will be the true (sovereignty), belonging to the Most Beneficent (Allah), and it will be a hard Day for the disbelievers (those who disbelieve in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism). [Surah Al-Furqan. Aayah 25-26]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Verily, the Mujrimun (criminals, sinners, disbelievers, etc.) will be in the torment of Hell to abide therein forever. (The torment) will not be lightened for them, and they will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair therein. We wronged them not, but they were the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.). And they will cry: “O Malik (Keeper of Hell)! Let your Lord make an end of us.” He will say: “Verily you shall abide forever.” [Surah Az-Zukhruf. Aayaat 74-77]

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

The Day that Ar-Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel) or another angel] and the angels will stand forth in rows, none shall speak except him whom the Most Beneficent (Allah) allows, and he will speak what is right. [Surah An-Naba. Aayah 38]

Allaah [The Most High] said:

And if you could see when the angels take away the souls of those who disbelieve (at death), they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): “Taste the punishment of the blazing Fire.” “This is because of that which your hands had forwarded. And verily, Allah is not unjust to His slaves.” [Surah Al-Anfaal. Aayaat 50-51]

Israafeel [alayhis salaam]

Abu Hurayrah [radiyallaahu-anhu] said, “The Messenger of Allaah [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said, ‘The gaze of the one who will blow the Trumpet has been fixed since he was entrusted with it, looking towards the throne, ready (to blow it), in case he will be commanded to do so before he blinks, as if his eyes are two shining stars’”
