In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.
Ed Husain tweeted in disapproval:
The above statement shows that Ed Husain behaves as if he is a worshipper of freedom – the freedom he utilises to promote Darwin’s theory of disbelief and the ideas of the heretical philosophers (al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, Al-Jaahiz etc). Ed desperately utilizes every opportunity to propagate his erroneous ideas, whether he has a valid point or not, but he has been humiliated.
First, he stated that Muslims have no right to be angry and this is another clear proof that this Ed’s love and hate for the sake of Allaah is severely corrupted. By Allaah even the wicked murderers amongst the Muslims do not utter such a corrupt statement, because a Muslim has to be angry for the sake of Allaah, but anger should not lead to transgression.
As for the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], Allaah [The Exalted] said:
إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰكَ شَـٰهِدً۬ا وَمُبَشِّرً۬ا وَنَذِيرً۬ا
لِّتُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُعَزِّرُوهُ وَتُوَقِّرُوهُ وَتُسَبِّحُوهُ بُڪۡرَةً۬ وَأَصِيلاً
Verily, We have sent you (O Muhammad) as a witness, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner. In order that you (O mankind) may believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that you assist and honour him and (that you) glorify (Allah’s) praises morning and afternoon. [Surah Al-Fath. Aayah 8-9]
This Aayah is enough proof to show that a believer – not a hypocrite or one whose heart is corrupted with the ideas of the philosophers- is to honour the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] and will definitely get angry when the Prophet is dishonoured. However, Ed Husain says that Muslims have no right to be angry. Will Ed Husain be pleased if his family is dishonoured? Let’s briefly make some observations on the shaytaan Ed Husain:
Ed Husain defended president Macron and said that Muslims have no right to be angry, even though the president himself strongly rejected the statements of those who belittled his wife. So, Ed Husain defended a person who did not object when a Prophet of Allaah is belittled, but objected when his wife was belittled.
However, brothers and sisters after the Muslims – scholars, rulers and their citizens – made it very clear that belittling a Prophet of Allaah is never tolerated by a Muslim, President Macron stated, “We hear your anger, but won’t accept violence”. The president also stated that those who published the cartoons are an independent body and have nothing to do with the government, but freedom to do what they did is protected under laws of the state. Brothers and sisters, this is the calamity of modern politics, but it is a reality we must live with. However, what we want to highlight here is that the president did not say – at first – that Muslims do not have a right to be angry, but Ed Husain stated the opposite. But now that the president has affirmed that the Muslims have a right to be angry, Ed Husain has received a big slap in the face – humiliated! Indeed, it makes no difference whether the president agrees or disagrees that Muslims have a right to get angry, because our Lord commanded us to show our displeasure – as a sign of sound faith – when people transgress against His commands, rather Allaah has threatened the one who belittles the Messenger. Allaah said:
إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ ٱلۡأَبۡتَرُ
For he who makes you angry (O Muhammad), – he will be cut off (from every good thing in this world and in the Hereafter).
[Surah Al-Kawthar. Aayah 3]
As for what the president stated that violence is not accepted and also Ed Husain’s statement that Muslims have no right to kill anyone, then indeed there is no doubt that both of them have spoken the truth because their statements agree with the final revelation. The final Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] conveyed Allaah’s threat against Muslims who murder their non-Muslim fellow citizens, saying “Whoever kills a person who is granted the agreement of protection by the Muslims shall not smell the fragrance of Paradise though its fragrance can be smelled at a distance of forty years journey.” [Al-Bukhaari 6914]
This is why our Mashaayikh in the West are foremost in rebutting terrorism and vigilantism. See here:
The Salafi Response To The Terrorist Attacks In Paris, France: “Were they forbidding an evil?”
After acquainting oneself with the information in the above links, then the ideologues and their blind followers will understand that Islaam is free from the actions of Muslims whose anger leads to a violation of the command of the Prophet [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] – that we must protect the lives of our non-Muslim fellow citizens.
Likewise, it is obligated on us – in our religion – to report and expose anyone who is planning terrorist acts. See here: It Is Not Betrayal, Rather It Is An Obligation to Report Terrorists to The Non-Muslim Authorities – By Allaamah Saaleh al-Fawzaan [hafidhahullaah]: http://www.answering-extremism.com/trans-pub/ae_saf_12.pdf
Finally, we are innocent of the deeds of the Khaarijites (terrorists) and the immoral cartoonists
