In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.
Fishers In Murky Waters Desperately Attempting to Absolve Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi and Dr Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhayli of Responsibility By Mentioning Them Alongside Others!
Firstly, we remind the desperate Musaafiqah – SalafiEvents/MarkazUmar and their ilk – that none is above the rulings of the Sharee’ah. Imaam Ash’Shaatibee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: Know that Allaah has established this Sharee’ah as a proof against the creation [i.e. mankind and jinn] – the old and young alike; the obedient and the disobedient; the righteous and the wicked. He did not specify the proof against anyone in exclusion of another one. Also all the other revealed laws were established as proof against all the other nations to whom they were revealed. The Sharee’ah is the judge- restrictedly and unrestrictedly, the (source of judgement) and the judge on all those who have reached the age of responsibility. It is the path attached to (what Allaah has ordained) and it is the Greatest Guide. And have you not seen the statement of Allaah [The Most High]?!
And thus We have sent to you (O Muhammad) Ruhan (an Inspiration, and a Mercy) of Our Command. You knew not what is the Book, nor what is Faith? But We have made it (this Qur’an) a light wherewith We guide whosoever of Our slaves We will. And verily, you (O Muhammad) are indeed guiding (mankind) to the Straight Path (i.e. Allah’s religion of Islamic Monotheism)]. [Surah Ash-Shooraa. Aayah 52]
He [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] was the first to be guided to the Book and Eemaan, and then those who followed him. The Book is the Guide and also the Sunnah which was sent down to him explains that guidance (i.e. the Sunnah and the Qur’aan explain each other). All the creation [i.e. mankind and Jinn] are guided by it; therefore, when this is the case, the Sharee’ah is worthy of being a decisive proof against them and a beacon by way of which they are guided to the truth. Their nobility is established in accordance with how far they embrace its rulings- by acting upon them in speech, belief and deeds- and not merely due to the level of their intellects or their nobility amongst their people. That is because Allaah [The Most High] has determined nobility through Taqwa and not other than it. Allaah [The Most High] said: [إِنَّ أَڪۡرَمَكُمۡ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَتۡقَٮٰكُمۡۚ- Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa] [Surah Al-Hujuraat. Aayah 13]
The one who is the firmest in adherence to the Sharee’ah is more worthy of honour and nobility, but it is not possible for the one below this to reach the highest level of honour based on his adherence to the Sharee’ah. Therefore, honour is (measured) in accordance with one’s (level of adherence) to the Sharee’ah. (1)
Secondly, we say to these desperate people that neither Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi’s and Dr Sulaymaan’s wrongdoing nor your wrongdoings (Al-Musaafiqah) will disappear and be forgotten regardless how many visitors and helpers you seek to invite – in the name of Dawah – to make your affair either forgotten or look good. None will bear the burden of your wrongdoings nor anyone else is to be held accountable as long as you deliberately aid Dr Muhammad after his affair is clear. If you persist, then the statement of Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi [may Allaah protect him] and Shaikh Abu Iyaad applies to you and anyone else who deliberately defends him after the evidences are made very clear to him. https://twitter.com/IslamStoke/status/1546118439517011969
Clarification by Shaikh Abu Iyaad – [A warning, a Refutation, Rebuke Against a Mistake or Behaviour Does Not Automatically Necessitate Tabdee; & a Mention of Shaikh Muhammad Bin Haadi’s & Shaikh Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhaylee’s Affair- [From 52mins onwards]: https://mixlr.com/albaseerah/showreel/narration-from-the-salaf-regarding-creed-and-methodology
Thirdly, as for those who say, “How do you know whether he has repented or not?” We say to them, “Where is his repentance for making false Tabdee?! He committed his crime openly and must repent openly as long as he is alive, just as Abul Hasan Al-Ash’ari [may Allaah have mercy upon him] recanted openly”.
As for those who say, “So, even if some people of knowledge say that he has recanted you will not accept it?” We say to him, “Those who informed us about his crime with tangible unambiguous proofs, such as Al-Allaamah Rabee and Salafipublications, are more reliable than Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi in this affair. Here is an example of this affair regarding Imaam Ahmad and his son -Saaleh, and Daawud Bin Ali Al-Asbahaanee:
Daawud Ibn Ali Al-Asbahaanee came to Saaleh Ibn Imaam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal with whom he used to have a good relationship; so he spoke to Saaleh Ibn Imaam Ahmad to make it easy for him to meet his father. Saaleh approached his father (Imaam Ahmad) and said, “A man asked me to bring him to you”. Imaam Ahmad said, “What is his name?” He said, “Daawud”. Imaam Ahmad said, “Where is he from?” He said, “Asbahaan”. At this point Saaleh was seeking to refrain from describing Daawud, but Imaam Ahmad did not cease enquiring until he knew who he was. Then he said, “Muhammad Bin Yahyaa An-Naysabooree wrote to me regarding the affair of this one, that he claims that the Qur’aan is something that was brought into existence [i.e. created], so do not bring him near me”. Saaleh said, “O my father! He has negated and renounced this (statement, belief)”. Imaam Ahmad replied, “Muhammad Bin Yahyaa is more trustworthy than him. Do not give him access (to me)”. (2) [End of quote]
Therefore, even if Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi informs someone else that he has recanted or someone makes this claim on his behalf, whilst he is still alive, we say to him, “Al-Allaamah Rabee and Salafipublications are more trustworthy than Dr Muhammad in this affair and they have informed us of what he did – Tabdee without proof. When they ascertain that he has repented and recanted, then we will accept it, otherwise, there’s no need for him to use third parties if he was to do so based on this speculation of yours”. Read here: Reminder: Shaykh Rabiʿ’s request for Shaykh Muḥammad bin Hādī to justify his tabdīʿ of Salafī students and shaykhs and to explicitly name the major scholars he accused of being “affected” and “destroyed” by the “Ṣaʿāfiqah” – one month, no answer:

https://abukhadeejah.com/muhammad-hadi-allegations-and-response-of-the-major-scholars/
As for the one who says, “But some scholars do not say anything negative about him.” We say to him: Here is a clear answer for you… https://salaficentre.com/2022/08/11/what-should-we-remember-when-tricksters-and-deceivers-at-salafievents-and-markazumar-gather-names-of-mashaayikh-to-elevate-themselves-and-trivialise-dr-muhammad-bin-haadis-grave-mistakes/
Therefore, regardless who praises Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi and his staunch supporter Dr Ibraaheem Ar-Ruhalyli, and regardless who sits with them on the same platform, then indeed that will not nullify the fact that they are still upon error until they openly recant. Here is an example to follow regarding scholars of high status who recanted mistakes: https://salaficentre.com/2022/07/16/recanting-mistakes-repentance-and-humbling-oneself-by-ibnul-arabi-al-allaamah-rabee-al-allaamah-al-muallimee-and-shaikh-abdus-salaam-burgess/
And Allaah knows best.
