Regimes and Kingdoms – [Spiteful Ideologues Hate Stability and Prosperity In Contemporary Middle Eastern Kingdoms and Emirates]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The ideologues, demagogues and rabble-rousers sometimes refer to some Muslim countries in the middle-east as Kingdoms and at other times they refer to them as regimes depending on what suits their interests and corrupt agendas; however, the Muslim does not blindly follow the definitions or ideas of anyone. “One of the general fundamental principles (in Islaam) is to know that words are two types: words mentioned in the Qur’aan and the Sunnah, therefore, it is obligated on every believer to affirm them – affirm what Allaah and His Messenger have affirmed, and negate what Allaah and His Messenger have negated. The words affirmed by Allaah is truth and the ones Allaah negated are (negated) in truth, because Allaah speaks the truth and guides to the straight path. The words of the Sharee’ah are sanctified and it is from perfection in knowledge that one seeks after the (sound meanings) which the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] intended by them, in order to affirm what he affirmed and negate the meanings he negated, because it is obligated on us to believe and bear witness to everything he has stated and follow him in everything he has commanded. As for the words that are neither found in the Qur’am and Sunnah, nor did the pious predecessors hold a consensus regarding whether they are negated or affirmed, then it is not incumbent on anyone to agree with the one who negates or affirms them until its intended meaning is explained. So, if its intended meaning agrees with the (revelation, commands, prohibitions etc) conveyed by the Messenger, it is affirmed; but if its intended meaning is in opposition to the (revelation, commands, prohibitions etc) conveyed by the Messenger, it is rejected”. (1)

Indeed, many ideologues, demagogues and rabble-rousers hide behind journalism to discreetly incite the rabble towards so called regime change and at other times they manifest the malice hidden in their hearts against Muslim rulers. Many of them were heard condemning ISIS and other terrorist groups for destabilising some countries when it affected their interests; however, these same opponents of ISIS are heard discreetly inciting rebellion, unrest and so called civil disobedience in Muslim countries in the name of promoting the struggle for democracy, justice and civil liberties. In their view all governments under the authority of Muslim rulers in the middle-east are either led by tyrants, despots or autocratic leaders, unless they imitate Western democracies and pursue reform based on what the West desires. Their greatest heartache – due to a desire to spread disbelief and open the doors to every evil – is that they have not achieved their satanic goal to destabilise the Middle Eastern Kingdoms and Emirates under the rulership of Sunni Kings and Amirs [may Allaah preserve and strengthen them upon everything pleasing to Him Aameen].

When criticising these stable, peaceful and prosperous countries, the spiteful ideologues choose their words carefully lest such criticism lead to universal harm in their countries , such as loss of jobs, foreign investments and so on, so they refer to them as kingdoms; but when these same kingdoms pursue their interests – either through bilateral relations with other nations that are not approved by these deluded and opinionated ideologues or give priority to national security by restraining those seeking to initiate unrest in the name of civil liberties, the spiteful ideologues refer to them as regimes. Firstly, one does not entertain the desires of these ideologues, rather we return to the infallible final divine revelation when examining the words they use to praise or dispraise others, as stated earlier that “As for the words that are neither found in the Qur’aan and Sunnah, nor did the pious predecessors hold a consensus regarding whether they are negated or affirmed, then it is not incumbent on anyone to agree with the one who negates or affirms them until its intended meaning is explained. So, if its intended meaning agrees with the (revelation, commands, prohibitions etc) conveyed by the Messenger, it is affirmed; but if its intended meaning is in opposition to the (revelation, commands, prohibitions etc) conveyed by the Messenger, it is rejected”. So, with regards to the word Kingdom, we are all well acquainted with its meaning, however, what is given precedence in rulership – whether in kingdoms or other than them – is implementation of the Sharee’ah and safety in the land. Allaah is the one who grants rulership, as the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] stated, “The Prophetic khilaafah will last for thirty years. Then Allaah will give the dominion to whomever He wills”. [Read full article in the link by Shaikh Abu Iyaad (may Allaah preserve him):

Secondly, what do they intend by the word “regime” when applied to rulership? It is, in their opinion, “a government, especially an authoritarian one; a particular government or a system or method of government; a method or system of government, especially one that has not been elected in a fair way; government that controls a country, especially in a strict or unfair way; a government, especially one that was not elected fairly or that you disapprove of for some other reason; a system of government; a mode of rule: a dictatorial regime”. These are some of the definitions one comes across and in the mind of a deluded ideologue every system of government that was not established through democracy fits this description. The spiteful ideologues want to replace the Sharee’ah, whereas Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic] commanded humankind to judge by the Sharee’ah. Read below in the link regarding Ruling By Other Than What Allaah Has Revealed:

Thirdly, the spiteful ideologues want these stable kingdoms to open the door to chaos through elections and competing parties, whereas Allaah commanded the Ummah not to fight for leadership. Abdur-Rahmaan Bin Samurah [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that the the Prophet [peace and blessings of allaah be upon him] said, “O Abdur-Rahmaan! Do not seek to be a ruler, for if you are given authority on your demand, then you will be held responsible for it, but if you are given it without asking [for it], then you will be helped [by Allaah] in it. If you ever take an oath to do something and later on you find that something else is better, then you should expiate your oath and do what is better”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari, Number 7146]

As for elections, then indeed our scholars have made some precise analysis regarding them. Al-Allaamah Saaleh al-Fawzaan [may Allaah protect him] stated, “And as for the elections (that are) well-known (and implemented) today in the various nations, then they are not from the Islamic order. Chaos, personal aspirations enter into them, as do greed and favouritism (bias). Tribulations and the shedding of blood result from them and the desired goal is not attained by them. Rather, they are just a ground for bids (i.e. campaigns), buying and selling and false claims”. (2)

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Mad’khalee [may Allaah protect him] stated, “How many violations against the religion are committed by way of elections, such as having alliances with atheist parties, communist and innovated parties and what that necessitates with regards to destruction of Al-Walaa Wal Baraa (loyalty and disassociation for the sake of Allaah)? How much money is spent and stolen from the Muslims in the the name of Islam? And the Muslims spend it bribing those who will vote for them by lying and falling into sin”. (3)

Al-Allaamah Badiyuddeen Shah Sindee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Did the Messenger of Allaah [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] give us this ideology, did the rightly guided Khulafaa give us this ideology, or did the four Imaams give us this ideology? Who gave us this ideology? An ideology emerged from Europe and you accepted, you deemed the path of the Messenger deficient! Let me ask you one question. Are there any opposing political parties in the Sharee’ah. If the government was established for the sake of Allaah, and someone stood in opposition of it, what would become of him? There would be hostility everywhere. Democracy safeguards these hostilities, and this is why evil is given a chance to exist. It is for this reason that these people who are starving for power attempt to win power and fight (amongst each other). Has Islaam not taught you how to run the governments? Did the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] not establish an Islamic government in the midst of the kingdom of disbelief (i.e. whilst the disbelievers were present and had been in charge prior to that)? How did the Messenger establish this government? He acted upon Allaah’s guidance and he was successful, Allaah gave him victory and success. All forces were in opposition to the Messenger and they still are- the forces of these selfish maulvis (religious leaders), the forces of saints (peers), and the forces of the wealthy. All of these groups are against each other but are united against Allaah’s Messenger. The time came when the Messenger was given victory, and he announced on the hill of Safaa, “There is none worthy of worship except Allaah alone, and He aided His salve, and completed His promise, and He by Himself defeated the forces”. This is Islaam, and this is our methodology, and this is our leader (i.e. Muhammad – peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)]”. (4)

In addition to this, democracy opens the door of rebellion and the ideology of the khaarijites through so called peaceful protests. Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “There is no khurooj (rebellion) with the sword except that it is preceded by rebellion with the tongue”. (5) Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah protect him] stated, “It is not a condition that the khawaarij have to carry weapons, rather he (the person) is from the khawaarij and upon their school of thought if he believes in declaring Muslims disbelievers due to major sins (they commit). If he incites (the people) against the one in charge of the affairs through sermons and writing, this is the school of thought of the khawaarij even if he does not carry weapons. The khawaarij are of different types- amongst them are those who carry weapons, there are those who speak like the who said to the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], “Be Just”, and amongst them are those who write and amongst them is the one who believes in his heart, but he neither speaks nor does anything; however he has the belief of the khawaarij in his creed. But some of them are worse than others”. (6)

Democracy uproots the foundation of Bay’ah to the Muslim ruler and opens the door of betrayal. Al-Allaamah Saalih al-Fawzaan [may Allaah protect him] said, “The oath of allegiance is only to the leader of the Muslims. These various oaths of allegiance (given to different groups and parties) are innovated and they are from the cause of splitting. The Muslims who are living in one country or one kingdom should have one allegiance to one leader. It is impermissible to have several types of oaths of allegiance”. (7)

Importance of Safety In The Lands – [A Brief Rebuttal Against Initiators of Protests, Revolutions And Regime Change]:

The gulf kingdoms enjoy peace, security and prosperity without democrasy- and may Allaah keep them safe Aameen, even though the spiteful ideologues and the spiteful regime change proponents continue their satanic attempts to corrupt and destabilise them. Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] stated, “This country-and all praise be to Allaah-is in a state of security, stability, comfortable living and tranquillity, but this stability is not pleasing to the enemies of this country. So they have not ceased in attempting to demolish its state of security. They attempt to do this, so that it becomes like other countries. It [i.e. Saudi Arabia] occupies the center of the hearts of the Muslims. It is the Qiblah in their Salaah and it has a status in the Islamic world. So if it were to be destabilised—just as the enemies desire to destabilise the entire Islamic world—then who will establish the Hajj and Umrah; who will provide safety for the pilgrims whilst they seek to fulfil the rites of Hajj and Umrah, except this country with the Help of Allaah [Glorified and Exalted Be He]. The [social] structure of this country will be destabilised if its security is lost, then where will the Islamic world proceed to? And because of this, the enemies of Islaam plot against this country day and night-as you all know sometimes through seeking to cause doubts about the creed and disseminating filthy views amongst the children of the Muslims in order to implant idleness, extremism, or taking up arms, or carrying explosives, or causing destruction; sometimes by way of corrupting the manners, disseminating forbidden affairs and forbidden desires amongst the Muslim youth, in order to corrupt their manners and deprive them of their religion with the claim of freedom of expression and other false statements. Allaah has freed mankind from idol worship, forbidden desires and despicable manners. This is the correct freedom, but as for what is in opposition to it, such as evil desires, doubts and corrupt manners, this is the freedom of animals. However, they want this in order to corrupt the Muslim youth-either through extremism and harshness or through laxity in their religion. They attempt this and that-either to corrupt the intellects of the Muslim youth with intoxicants, drugs, cigarettes, Qaat and other drugs and intoxicants or through fabrications [i.e. false ideas, views etc]. They want to do away with the Muslim youth because after Allaah’s [Glorified Be He] Support for the Muslim society, the society is built upon its youth, therefore they want to corrupt the Muslim youth through any means so that they are able to demolish this country. As you can see –from time to time–huge quantities of opium and other types of drugs are smuggled. As you can see this did not come from nothing; rather it came about as an evil plan against this country. They want to destroy it from every direction. Therefore, you should all be a singular hand with your rulers and those placed in charge over your affairs to repel this enmity and pay attention to it”. (8)

Finally, the Muslim’s relationship with Muslim rulers is not based on the desires of the ideologues, demagogues and rabble-rousers, rather it is based on that which Allaah and His Messenger commanded, whether the ruler is just or oppressive.
