[4] A brief examination of some comments made by pseudo-researchers concerning Salafiyyah

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] said:

وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ

Woe to every sinful liar.
[Surah. Al-Jaathiyah. Ayah 7]

Hasan Hasan said that one of the Khaarijites of ISIS said: “In the videos we produce, you see the sentence ‘deal with them in a way that strikes fear in those behind them’, and that verse speaks for itself. One more thing: the prophet told the people of Quraish, ‘With slaughter, I came to you'”. [End of quote]

First, if Hasan Hasan had discussed ISIS’s absurd misunderstandings without slanderously connecting this misguided group with Salafiyyah, he would have been free of defamation; however, his insane speculations were the result of a heart filled with hatred towards Salafiyyah. He said, “Ahrar al-Sham, a Salafi-jihadist group close to Jabhat al-Nusra”. The slanderer also said, “The Isis ideology is generally viewed as identical to al-Qaida’s or the Saudi version of Salafism – adherence to fundamental Islamic tenets – and so there does not seem to be a serious effort to study it more closely”. In regards to the erroneous comparison that Hasan Hasan dishonestly attempted to draw between Salafiyyah and ISIS, we have already transmitted in parts 1, 2, and 3 what is necessary as a refutation from the statements of the upright scholars and senior students of knowledge.

Second, a clarification regarding the statement “With slaughter I came to you” is provided here so that the reader can realise that Hasan Hasan and ISIS have misunderstood it. https://salaficentre.com/2023/01/26/with-slaughter-i-came-to-you-a-lie-of-spiteful-demagogues-ideologues-islamophobes-and-khaarijites-terrorists-rebutted/
