[1] O Supporters of Khaalid Uthmaan Al-Misri! Is Your Mentor Itching to Open a Big Mouth to Join Khaalid Abdur Rahmaan Al-Misri In His Support of Musaafiqah?!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Khaalid Uthmaan claims that Shaikh Abu Khadeejah’s warning against Shaikh Sulaymaan’s Ar-Ruhayli’s gathering is tantamount to hindering people from Sabeelul laah [the path of Allaah!]”

What is Sabeelul laah [The Path of Allaah]? It is a term generally applied to every sincere deed by way of which one seeks to (attain Allaah’s Pleasure, Love, Reward and to be protected from Allaah’s Punishment) by fulfilling obligations, optional acts of worship and various types of acts of obedience to Allaah. [An-Nihaayah. By Ibnul Atheer 2/338]

Firstly, we ask the supporters of Khalid Uthmaan: Which path to good did Shaikh Abu Khadeejah and the Maraakiz hinder Shaikh Sulaymaan from – the five pillars of Islaam, the six pillars of Imaan or Ihsaan?! Both Khaalid and Shaikh Sulaymaan are free to worship Allaah, but neither should Khaalid allow himself to be drowned in self-deception nor blindness to the extent that he expects the senior UK students to refrain from warning against the gathering of the Musaafiqah and then attempts to open a big mouth to claim that doing so would be tantamount to hindering people from the path of Allaah. Indeed, Shaikh Abu Khadeejah and the Maraakiz warn against the gathering of Shaikh Sulaymaan based on the proof of that which Al-Allaamah Rabee has established. Shaikh Sulaymaan’s gathering is warned against because those who invite him are staunch supporters of Muhammad Bin Haadi – the one guilty of false Tabdee, slander against scholars and has still not recanted. Does Shaikh Sulaymaan not support Muhammad Bin Haadi and seeks to beautify his affair, even though he is guilty of this grave crime of Tabdee without proof?! These are the affairs surrounding the warning against Shaikh Sulaymaan’s gathering, so how can it be tantamount to hindering people from the path of Allaah, as Khaalid Uthmaan claims, whilst seeking to hide truth and flatter the Musaafiqah; rather Shaikh Abu Khadeejah’s stance and the stance of the Maraakiz is nothing else but a noble act of enjoining good and forbidding evil. Does Khaalid intend to join the Musaafiqah in their falsehood and argue on behalf of the oppressors?! Reminder: Shaykh Rabiʿ’s request for Shaykh Muḥammad bin Hādī to justify his tabdīʿ of Salafī students and shaykhs and to explicitly name the major scholars he accused of being “affected” and “destroyed” by the “Ṣaʿāfiqah” – one month, no answer:

This person -Muhammad Bin Haadi- whose affair is mentioned in the above two links is the one being defended and sheltered by Shaikh Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhayli, and thus he was warned against by both Al-Allaamah Rabee and the students at Salafipublications. Allaah [The Most High] said:

[إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِتَحۡكُمَ بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِمَآ أَرَٮٰكَ ٱللَّهُ‌ۚ وَلَا تَكُن لِّلۡخَآٮِٕنِينَ خَصِيمً۬ا – Surely, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad) the Book (this Qur’an) in truth that you might judge between men by that which Allah has shown you (i.e. has taught you through Divine Inspiration), so be not a pleader for the treacherous]. [Surah An-Nisaa Ayah 105]

Do not argue for the one whose treachery (or deception) is known, such as the one who either pursues what does not belong to him or one who rejects a right he must fulfil, whether he is aware of that or not. In this is proof to (establish) that it is forbidden to argue based on falsehood and pleading (on behalf) of one who makes a false claim -in religious or worldly disputes. (1)

Al-Allaamah Rabee also stated, “The one who rebuts a Mubtadi or a book in which there is Bidah, or disparages one who is deserving of disparagement, or rebukes one who deserves to be rebuked – some narrator, false witnesser and a sinner who announces his sin, he (i.e. this just refuter) is not an oppressor because he has placed the affairs in their proper and (rightful) places, and the oppressive transgressor is the one who embarks upon speaking ill of him and conspires against him”. (2)

Both Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi and Shaikh Sulaymaan deserve rebuke and that is what they have received from both Al-Allaamah Rabee and the senior UK students.

Secondly, Umm Salamah [may Allaah be pleased with her] reported that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “’Indeed, I am only a human being and you people (i.e. disputants) come to me with your disputes. And it may be that one of you can present his case more eloquently than the other and I consider him truthful, and judge in his favour. So if I ever judge and give the right of a brother to his brother, then it is a piece of hell-fire and let him not take it”. [end of hadeeth] Some of the benefits from this hadeeth that are relevant to this discussion are as follows: This hadeeth shows that speech can be seen to be true based on what is apparent, but it is truly falsehood with regards to what is hidden within it. This hadeeth shows the sinfulness of the one who argues based on falsehood until he receives what he wants publicly, whilst he is upon falsehood. (3)

Therefore, we remind Khaalid Uthmaan’s supporters to remind him to restrain his tongue -neither conceal truth nor seek to miss the main affair surrounding the warning against Shaikh Sulaymaan. Arguing in this manner is tantamount to supporting the transgressors amongst the Musaafiqah and those who ally with them – those whose figurehead (Muhammad Bin Haadi) is guilty of false Tabdee, slander against some of the scholars and has obstinately persisted upon this crime. O supports of Khaalid Uthmaan! Advise your mentor to restrain his tongue lest that which befell Khaalid Abdur Rahmaan befalls him. see below

In Defence Of The Noble Imām Rabeeʿ Ibn Hādī ʿUmayr Al-Madkhali And The ʿUlamā – The Manhaj of Ahlus-Sunnah – (Case Study: The Ignorance and Deceit of Khalid al-Misrī)

To conclude, we say to the supports of Khaalid Uthmaan and that they remind him as follows: The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Indeed, Allaah hates the eloquent one among men who moves his tongue round [within his teeth], as cattle do”. Al-Allaamah Abdul Muhsin Al-Abbaad [may Allaah preserve him] said, “The person intended in this hadeeth is the one who speaks eloquently, while using obscure or ambiguous language, immerses himself in speech and burdens himself. He burdens himself in speech and thus utters something blameworthy. However, if this [eloquence] is not done by way of burdening oneself in speech, such as the one whom Allaah has granted eloquence and he utilises it in his speech in order to clarify the truth, then this is not blameworthy. Allaah hates the person who speaks eloquently and utters that which is blameworthy due to deliberately utilising obscure, ambiguous and burdensome speech. This person is likened to a cow that moves its tongue round [among its teeth] when eating. It is said that a cow is not like other animals-because other animals use their teeth but a cow uses its tongue. This hadeeth forbids the likes of this action [i.e. eloquent burdensome speech] and the one who does so is hated by Allaah. (4)

The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The most hated of men in the sight of Allaah is the one who is most quarrelsome”. Al-Allaamah Zayd Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “A warning against [blameworthy] argumentation, falling into wicked behaviour and its severe [consequences], especially if the argumentation is based on falsehood. As for when it is based on truth, there is nothing wrong with that for the one who has a right to do so; but he should be just in his argument so that he does not enter into oppression or error, and Allaah knows best. The hadeeth is related to warning against lying during argumentation- [a warning against] bringing falsehood and adorned speech into it until one change falsehood into truth and truth into falsehood – not bothered about making an oath, lying or giving false witness. All this occurs from a person who is extremely quarrelsome, goes into excess in the affair and does not feel shy in the presence of Allaah- neither fears punishment in this life nor in the next life. And when it is the case that the extremely quarrelsome person is blameworthy, then indeed the person who has good conduct – if entitled to something – during an argument and other affairs, he will not utter except truth, and will not seek after anything except the truth- neither lies nor deceives the Sharee’ah judge. This is from the characteristics of the people of Eemaan – those whom Allaah praised in the Qur’aan and the Prophet (also) praised them in the [texts of] the pure Sunnah. (5)

[1] What’s Your Problem Akhee or Ukhtee?

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Question: What’s your problem akhee or ukhtee! Why do you not take knowledge from this person? Answer: Akhee or Ukhtee, the fact is that Imaam Ibn Seereen [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Indeed, this knowledge is religion, so carefully consider from whom you take your religion (i.e. the one who teaches you)”. [Muqaddimah Saheeh Muslim. Number 26]

My Teacher Has to Be Trustworthy

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated: We add trustworthiness as an additional characteristic alongside proficiency, because proficiency is a strength and it has to be accompanied by trustworthiness. Allaah said: [ إِنَّ خَيۡرَ مَنِ ٱسۡتَـٔۡجَرۡتَ ٱلۡقَوِىُّ ٱلۡأَمِينُ – Verily, the best of men for you to hire is the strong, the trustworthy.] [Surah Al-Qasas. Aayah 26] It may be that a scholar is proficient and vast in knowledge, able to derive and explain subsidiary issues from fundamental principles, as well as categorise, distinguish and place different subject matters in their appropriate place, but he is not trustworthy and might misguide you from where you do not know. [An Excerpt from Sharh Hilyati Taalibal Ilm. page 79. slightly paraphrased]

My Teacher Has to Be Upon Sound Aqeedah and Manhaj

Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allaah protect him] was asked, “Is there a difference between Manhaj [Methodology] and Aqeedah [Creed, Belief], and if there is a difference between them, is there a path for the proponents of illegal partisanship to cause (problems) through that differentiation?”

Answer: Definately, Manhaj has been spoken about a lot, and speech about it in this era is contrary to what the pious predecessors held. They mentioned the word Manhaj [Methodology] and Minhaaj [Path], but did not use (the word as utilised in this era); but when it spread, the Salafis were forced to say, “The methodology, The methodology!” I heard Shaikh Ibn Baz not differentiating between Aqeedah and Manhaj, and he says that they are all one thing. Shaikh Al-Albani differentiates, and I differentiate. I see that Manhaj [Methodology] is more comprehensive (or inclusive) than Aqeedah. Manhaj includes the creed, the acts of worship, and it includes how to seek understanding (in the religion), how to face (or confront) the proponents of innovation in the religion. Manhaj is comprehensive, (for example the statement) – the methodology of Ahlus Sunnah related to creed, their methodology related worship, their methodology of attaining knowledge, their methodology in this or that. Methodology is undoubtedly more comprehensive, but the people of desires – some of them – distinguish between creed and methodology for partisan and political goals. So they deceive many of the Salafis, and they say, “You remain upon your creed, but with regards to methodology we are in need of cooperating in that. There is no objection to you saying, ‘I am a Salafi in creed and Ikhwaani in methodology”, (1) whereas it is known that it is an aspect of the Ikhwaani methodology to wage war against the Salafi Creed. This Salafi who says, “I am Salaf”, if he says, “I am Salaf in Creed and Ikhwaani in Methodology, or Tableeghee in methodology, he has called himself one fighting the Salafi methodology and creed. This is one of the partisan and political tricks that is spread by Al-Tabligh and Ikhwaan (2) and they differentiated between creed and methodology to manipulate the minds of the Salafis in particular. [Ajwibah Al-Allaamah Ash-Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhlai As-Salafiyyah Alaa As’ilati Abee Ruwaahah Al-Manhajiyyah. page 22]

My Teacher Should Be Willing to Make The Books of The Salaf The Judge Between Him and Others

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah preserve him] as follows: “All of you hold onto the Rope of Allaah [i.e. The Qur’aan and authentic Sunnah]- Allaah will aid you in this and make you like the sun; return to the understanding of the righteous predecessors, and it is, as I said to you, transmitted (and established) in your presence. This is a challenge to those who oppose this. We are challenging ahlul bidah wal ahwaa [the proponents of innovation in religious affairs and followers of desires] in their creed and politics. We say, between us and you is the (path, understanding of the) pious predecessors and books (of the pious predecessors). Ahmad [i.e. Imaam Ahmad] used to say to the proponents of innovation in religious affairs, “Between us and you are the funerals (i.e. whose funeral will be attended by ahlus sunnah in great numbers)”. We say (i.e. at present), “Between us and you are the books (of the pious predecessors)- the books are present!

Allaah said to His Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him]:

[قل فَأْتُوا بِالتَّوْرَاةِ فَاتْلُوهَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ – All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel made unlawful for himself before the Taurat (Torah) was revealed. Say (O Muhammad ): “Bring here the Taurat (Torah) and recite it, if you are truthful”]- So they bring the Torah and you proof them to be upon falsehood. We bring the books of the pious predecessors – the Qur’an, the Sunnah, the books of Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, at-Tirmidhi, an-Nasaa’ee, and what was authored by Ahmad and others; we bring them (to prove) those who are on the path of these (pious predecessors) and those who turn away and oppose them. Just as Allaah challenged the Jews to bring the Torah, so the Torah was brought and they were exposed them, (likewise), we challenge these people to bring the books of the pious predecessors, so that the innovator in religious affairs is exposed, and to clarify who the deviants are- whether us or them? Are they able to challenge? Can they open their mouths like this? We fill our mouths with courage – challenge everyone who says that we are upon other than methodology of the pious predecessors. We, by Allaah, call to the methodology of the pious predecessors- to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him]. We use the book of Allaah and the Sunnah as proof for our beliefs, our acts of worship, dealings with rulers and their subjects, in dealing with the groups and sects. As for the others, they are upon tricks, deception etc By Allaah, you will not find with them anything but tricks and manipulating the emotions of youth”.[Paraphrased. Listen here: https://youtu.be/mxXSfKh_sjw ]

My Teacher Should Be Free From All The Deviant Sects and Groups – Neither Co-operates With Them Nor With Those Who Co-operate With Them

Imaam Albaani [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “It is not hidden from every Muslim who is acquainted with the Book, the Sunnah and that which our pious predecessors were upon that the Tahazzub (Illegal partisanship) and gathering amongst the groups that carry different views or different methods (of Dawah) has nothing to do with Islaam; rather in many Aayaat of the Qur’aan our Lord (The Mighty and Majestic) has prohibited us from that. Allaah (The Most High) said:

وَلَا تَكُونُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِڪِينَ
مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُواْ دِينَهُمۡ وَڪَانُواْ شِيَعً۬ا‌ۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَيۡہِمۡ فَرِحُونَ

”And be not of Al-Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc.). Of those who split up their religion (i.e. who left the true Islamic Monotheism), and became sects, [i.e. they invented new things in the religion (Bid’ah), and followed their vain desires], each sect rejoicing in that which is with it.” [30: 31-32] [Fataawaa Al-Muhimmah Fee Tabseeril Ummah. Page:118]

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “There is nothing in the Book or the Sunnah that allows different groups and parties; rather that has been censured in the Book and the Sunnah. Allaah (The Most High) said: [فَتَقَطَّعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَهُم بَيۡنَہُمۡ زُبُرً۬ا‌ۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَيۡہِمۡ فَرِحُونَ – ”But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief] [23:53]

And there is no doubt that these parties oppose that which Allaah has commanded. Allaah (The Most High) said:

إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦۤ أُمَّتُكُمۡ أُمَّةً۬ وَٲحِدَةً۬ وَأَنَا۟ رَبُّڪُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُونِ

”Truly! This, your Ummah [Sharia or religion (Islamic Monotheism)] is one religion, and I am your Lord, therefore worship Me (Alone).” [21:92] [ Fataawaa Al-Muhimmah Fee Tabseeril Ummah. Page:120]

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “It is obligated on the scholars to clarify the reality. They should debate every group and give advice to all, so that they can traverse upon the path Allaah has ordained for His slaves, and the path which His Messenger Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] called to. And whoever oversteps this path or remains upon obstinacy, then it is obligatory to expose him”. [Fataawaa Al-Muhimmah Fee Tabseeril Ummah. Page: 116]

“And from the greatest of affairs – in preserving and upholding this Sharee’ah- is to stand firm with knowledge and justice against innovation in religion and the innovators in religion, utilising the paths of the Sharee’ah to oppose their transgressions, repel their plots, manifest the signpost of (sound) allegiance and enmity (for the sake of Allaah), love and hate for the sake of Allaah and putting it into practice. If the harm of innovation in religion was limited to the innovator and not transferred to others, then the affair would have come to an end and the circumstances would have been made easy; however (with regards to the innovation), there is that which harms the innovator, that which harms his followers with regards to following bidah, that which harms the Religion itself and that which harms the Ummah that falls into bidah in its religious affairs. [At-Ta’aqqubaat As-Sareehah Alaa Risaalah An-Naseehah Lid-Duktoor Ibraaheem Ibn Aamir Ar-Ruhayli. Page 58 -By Shaikh Abdullah Al-Bukhaari]

My Teacher Has to Be One I Can Judge By His Companionship – Free From The People of Bidah and Illegal Partisanship

Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu-anhu) said, the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said, “A person is upon the religion of his friend, so let each one of you look at whom he befriends”. [As-Saheehah: 97] Ibn Mas’ ood (radiyallaahu-anhu) said: Indeed a person walks alongside and accompanies the one whom he loves and who is like him. (Al Ibaanah 2/476] Al A’maah (rahimahullaah) said: They (the Salaf) did not used to ask anything more about a person after having asked about three affairs: Who he walks with, who he enters upon (i.e. visits) and who he associates with amongst the people”. [Al Ibaanah 2/478] Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood (radiyallaahu anhu) said: Make consideration of the (regions of the) earth by the names given to them and make consideration of a person by his companion”. [Ibaanah 2/497] Mu’aadh Bin Mu’aadh said to Yahyah bin Sa’eed, “aa Abaa Sa’eed! A person may hide his viewpoint from us, but he will not be able to hide this in his son or friend or in one whom he sits with”. [ Ibaanah 2/436] [Translated by Spubs]

Imaam Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Regardless of what you many receive of praise and respect from the people, they judge the people by their associates. Therefore, it is befitting that a person takes pride in accompanying the best of the people and beware of the evil ones. A righteous companion is like a seller of musk; he either gives you some or you get a good smell from him. And the evil companion is like the blower of the bellows, he either burns you or you receive a bad smell from him. And Allaah knows best”. [Noorul Basaa-ir Wal-Albaab Fee Ahkaamil Ibaadaat Wal-Mu-aamalaat Wal-Huqooq Wal-Aadaab: page: 66]

Changing Names Cannot Change Reality – [Rebranding “SalafiEvents” as “Markaz Umar” Will Not and Cannot Change Their True Reality, Ambitions and Goals]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Al-Allaamah Abdullaah Bin Abdur Rahmaan Abaa Batayn [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: The entire religion enters into worship, so when a person knows, is certain regarding what ‘Al ilaah’ means – that it means something worshipped and he knows the reality of what worship is, then it will become clear to him that the one who devotes an act to worship to other than Allaah has indeed worshipped that thing and taken it as a god, even if he runs away from naming it an object of worship or a god, and then calls it Tawassul, intercession or what is similar. [Refer to  ‘Footnote A’ about at-Tawassul]

A polytheist is a polytheist, whether he accepts or denies it, just as a usurer is a usurer whether he accepts or denies it, even if he does not call what he does usury. The drinker of alcohol is a drinker of alcohol, even if he calls it other than its name. It has been reported in a hadeeth that the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Indeed, a people from my Ummah will drink alcohol giving it other than its (real) name”. (1)

Al-Allaamah Zayd Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This hadeeth contains a Prophetic miracle in relation to the information given by the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] about an affair of the unseen and that this will definitely occur. What the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] stated that alcohol will be given a name other than its real name will definitely occur. Indeed – in our era – alcohol has been given another name to deceive the people and urge them towards it, such as the name Mashroob Roohee [Spirits], instead of giving its real name Khamr as it is said, ‘Al-Khamru Takh’murul Aql [Alcohol veils (or obscures) the intellect’]. They have given it other names as well, but it does not isolate it from the fact that it is khamr and it is forbidden”. (2)

Changing names can neither change the reality of the person (or thing) nor does the ruling that apply cease. When Adee Bin Haatim [may Allaah be pleased with him] heard the statement of Allaah: [ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَحۡبَارَهُمۡ وَرُهۡبَـٰنَهُمۡ أَرۡبَابً۬ا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ – They have taken their priests and monks as lords besides Allah] [Surah At-tawbah. Aayah 31], he said to the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], “We did not worship them”, so the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said to him, “Do they not forbid what Allaah has made lawful and you make it forbidden, and they make lawful what Allaah has forbidden and you make it lawful?” He said, “Certainly”, so the Messenger said, “That is your worship of them”. Therefore, Adee [may Allaah be pleased with him] did not think that being in agreement with them in such an affair was tantamount to worshipping them, so the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] informed him that it was tantamount to worshipping them, even though they did not believe that it was an act of worship devoted to them. [Refer to “Footnote b”]

Likewise, what the grave worshippers do, such as invoking the inhabitants of the graves, asking them to fulfil their needs, to remove their suffering, seeking closeness to them by offering sacrifices to them and vowing to them, then this is tantamount to worshipping the inhabitants of the graves, even if those who commit such acts do not name it as such or do not believe that it is worship. Also, those who said to the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], “Set up a Dhaat Anwaat (i.e. a lote-tree in whose vicinity the idolaters used to stay and hang their weapons to seek blessings) for us” did not think that their statement was similar to the statement of the Children of Israel, “Make for us a god”. They [i.e. those new Muslims who were with the Prophet at the Battle of Husnayn] did not think that such statement was tantamount to deifying other than Allaah which negates the statement, “There is no deity worthy of worship except Allaah”, because indeed they did testify that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah and knew its meaning because they were Arabs, however this affair “Set up for us a Dhaat Anwaat” was hidden from them because they were new in Islaam until the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said to them, “Allaahu Akbar! This is a path that has proceeded (from the people of the past). By Allaah in whose Hand my soul is! You have stated just as the children of Israel said to Musa [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], ‘O Musa! Make for us Ilaahan (a deity) as they have Aalihah (deities)!’ He (Musa) said, ‘Verily, you are a people who know not (the Majesty and Greatness of Allah and what is obligatory upon you, i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone, the One and the Only God of all that exists)’. You will follow the way of those who came before you”.

If it is said, “Indeed, the prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] did not declare those new Muslims to have exited the fold of Islam”, so we say, “This shows that the one who utters a statement that is tantamount to disbelief or out of being ignorant of its meaning, he is to be notified and he becomes aware and has not disbelieved; but there is no doubt that if they took the Dhaat Anwaat as [an object of worship besides Allaah] after the disapproval of the Prophet, then they would have disbelieved”. (3) [Refer to “Footnote c”]

What do we intend to establish from the above quote?

We only needed the statement “Changing Names Cannot Change Reality”, but decided to transmit this long quote as a reminder and benefit regarding Tawheed and Shirk in this article, because we are always in need of it; therefore, our intent here is not that the errors of the Musaafiqah is tantamount to Shirk or Kufr, lest some obstinate liar – as we have experienced in the past – intentionally fabricate mighty slanders from this quote that this is our intent; rather our intent here is the statement, “Changing Names Cannot Change Reality” and that just because Asif Shabir and Yasser Rahman – two obstinate plotters and staunch supporters of Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi – have rebranded ‘SalafiEvents’ as ‘Markaz Umar’, this cannot (and will never) change their reality in the twinkling of an eye, because their goal is still the same and that is to carry on fighting – after being exposed a few years ago https://twitter.com/AbuIyaadSP/status/775068495612612608 – on behalf of Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi in the name of Dawah, whilst utilising the service of some of those who share their sentiments, such as Dr Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhayli, whose gathering has been warned against. [Clarification by Shaikh Abu Iyaad – A warning, a Refutation, Rebuke Against a Mistake or Behaviour Does Not Automatically Necessitate Tabdee; & a Mention of Shaikh Muhammad Bin Haadi’s & Shaikh Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhaylee’s Affair- [From 52mins onwards]: https://mixlr.com/albaseerah/showreel/narration-from-the-salaf-regarding-creed-and-methodology

Therefore, do not be diverted from the fact that the Musaafiqah are desperately seeking to isolate the fact that Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi is guilty of false Tabdee and he has not recanted. Read Shaykh Rabiʿ’s request for Shaykh Muḥammad bin Hādī to justify his tabdīʿ of Salafī students and shaykhs and to explicitly name the major scholars he accused of being “affected” and “destroyed” by the “Ṣaʿāfiqah” – one month, no answer.

Instead of seeking to establish justice, the Musaafiqah continue to rant and rave solely to divert attention from this affair. We remind them of Allaah’s statement:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well- Acquainted with what you do. [Surah An-Nisaa. Verse 135]

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: A person should stand out firmly for justice (whether for or against) himself, his two parents, his other close relatives and his best friend amongst the people. If a person’s love for himself, his parents and his relatives prevents him from standing out firmly for the truth against them, especially if the truth is with someone he hates and regards as an enemy due to them, then indeed none will stand out firmly for justice in such circumstances except one whose love for Allaah and His Messenger is more than their love for everyone else. A person has to establish justice when dealing with his enemies and that one who deprives him of his rights, because indeed it is not permissible that hatred for his enemies leads him to be unjust towards them, just as it is not permissible that love of himself, his parents and relatives to make him abandon standing firmly for justice against them. Therefore, hatred harboured against someone should not lead him to falsehood, and love (of himself, parents, relatives, friends, allies) should not make him fall short in establishing truth, just as some of the pious predecessors said, “The just person is that one who when angry, his anger does not lead him to falsehood, and when he is pleased, it does not remove him from truth”.

The Imaam also said: When a proof that supports the truth is manifested and the one who wants to repel it finds no way of doing so, he refrains from mentioning it and thus becomes a silent devil, and sometimes he distorts it. Distortion is of two types: Distorting words and distorting meanings. Distorting words is when one utters a word in a context in which it does not establish the truth – either adding to the word or omitting something from it, or substituting it with something else- to the extent that the listener is made to believe something, whilst something else is intended by it, just as the Yahood [i.e. those Yahood who disbelieved in the Prophet & hated him] used to distort words when giving Salaam to the Prophet [i.e. saying As-Saamu Alayka (death be upon you), instead of saying Assalaamu alaykum)]. This is one type of distortion.

The second type of distortion is related to meanings – distorting the wording; giving it an interpretation that is not intended by the one who uttered it and pretending not to know its unintended meaning; or dropping other meanings intended by it etc. Allaah [The Most High] said: [وَإِن تَلۡوُ ۥۤاْ أَوۡ تُعۡرِضُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرً۬ا – and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do].

And when it is the case that a witness is required to bear witness based on what the affair should be [i.e. the complete truth], therefore neither should he hide nor change it. Turning away from the testimony is tantamount to concealment, and distortion is tantamount to alteration and substitution. Therefore, contemplate on this ayah and the treasures of knowledge it contains. The Eemaan of a person cannot be complete, except by way of accepting the texts of the sharee’ah and calling the people to them – neither turning away from them at times nor distorting them at other times. (4)

Finally, we remind Yasser Rahman, Asif and their ilk that Imaam Al-Bukhaari [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Chapter: Avoiding the Use of Tricks. And everybody will get the reward according to his intention”. Umar Ibn al-Khattaab [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions, and every person will get the reward according to what he intended. So, whoever emigrates for Allaah and His Messenger, then his emigration will be for Allaah and His Messenger, and whoever emigrates to take a worldly benefit or for a woman to marry, then his emigration will be for what he emigrated for”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari Number 6953]

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: There is no place for trickery in Ibaadaat [i.e. acts of worship] nor in Mu’aamalaat [i.e. mutual dealings]. Therefore, it is obligatory to approach affairs through their appropriate paths. (5)

Yasser and Asif can read the explanation of this above hadeeth (Al Bukhaari 6953)- in Fat-hul Baari – under this specific chapter heading “Avoiding the Use of Tricks”; then they should sincerely ponder as to whether the tricks they’ve utilised so far are permissible, whilst seeking to beautify Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi’s affair and diverting attention from his crime of Tabdee without proof, and thus increasing the beautification of falsehood to him and his supporters. والله المستعان

Any Improvement – at Masjid Al-Furqan Admin (Manchester – Rusholme)- after Reprimanded For Co-operating With Promoters of Mubtadi’ah In 2014?

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Umar [may Allaah be pleased with him] said, The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said: “People were (sometimes) judged by the revealing of a Divine Inspiration during the lifetime of Allah’s Messenger but now there is no longer any more (new revelation). Now we judge you by the deeds you practice publicly, so we will trust and favour the one who does good deeds in front of us, and we will not call him to account about what he is really doing in secret, for Allah will judge him for that; but we will not trust or believe the one who presents to us with an evil deed even if he claims that his intentions were good”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari. Number 2641]

Firstly, 8 years ago, Masjid Al-Furqan’s Admin – an Admin that attributes itself to the Sunnah – was reprimanded for promoting the books of the Takfeeri Sayyid Qutb, even though they desperately tried conceal their crime.

Who is Sayyid Qutb?

http://www.sayyidqutb.com/

http://www.islamagainstextremism.com/articles/jnyihml-leaflet-sayyid-qutb-and-the-ideology-of-al-qaeda-and-isis.cfm

Allaah knows best whether the Admin has removed the books of Sayyid Qutb; but if they have done so, then indeed that is something praiseworthy. However, we cannot confirm whether this has happened, therefore, ask the Salafi brothers at al-Markazus Salafi (Cheemthamhill).

Secondly, 8 years ago, the Admin also allied with Abu Usaamah – a well known promoter of a well known innovator in religion called Abul Hasan Al-Maribi. Abu Usaamah’s affair is well known. Shaikh Abdul Waahid Abu Khadeejah [may Allaah protect him] stated in his refutations against him: “Throughout these articles, the reader should understand that we are refuting a person who has been declared to be upon innovation by the great Scholar Ahmad bin Yahyah an-Najmee (rahimahullaah).

Question: “O Shaykh Ahmad we have with us in America a man called Abu Usaamah who is considered to be from the Du’aat, he aids and supports Abul-Hasan and he calls some noble Salafi brothers ghulaat (extremists), muqallidah (blind followers),and muhqiboon (the people whose religion is the religion of the one they blindly follow), so what is the legislated position from this man and how should we deal with him?

The noble Scholar (rahimahullaah) answered: [موقفكم منه كموقفكم من أهل البدعة , أعرض عنه و اتركه – “Your position with him is the same as your position with the People of Innovation. Turn away from him and abandon him].

Thirdly, 8 years ago, the Admin allied with another deceiver called Naveed Ayaz. Visit link about him: http://safeshare.tv/w/iNcxYLpAny

At present 2022, the Admin invites Adnaan Abdul Qaadir – a promoter of the Mubtadi Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq. Recent article about this affair: https://salaficentre.com/2022/07/30/adnaan-abdul-qaadir-student-of-the-mubtadi-abdur-rahmaan-abdul-khaaliq-and-affiliate-of-ihyaa-turaath-a-guest-at-markaz-at-tawheed-stoke-masjid-al-furqan-manchester-and-muhammadi-masjid/

Finally, indeed, what is apparent and manifest is that Masjid Furqan’s Admin have not abandoned co-operating with those associated with innovators, because if that was not the case, they would not have invited Adnaan Abdul Qadir – a student of the Mubtadi Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq, and you’ve read what Adnaan says about his teacher in the above link (2022 article).

When we demanded nearly 8 years ago that the Admin stop using the name of Sunnah and Salafiyyah to gather numbers through dubious speakers, they accused us of causing splits, even though innovators in the religion are the cause of splits in the Ummah and this Admin continues to ally themselves with people who support innovators, such as their expected guest Adnaan Abdul Qaaadir, who praises the innovator Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq. Al-Allaamah Zayd Bin Haadi al-Mad’khali [may Allaah have mercy upon him]said, “The Mubtadi (innovator in religion) is the cause for the splitting, because splitting is connected to innovation and unity (upon the sound creed and methodology of the Salaf) is connected to the Sunnah.  The obligation of refuting the Mukhaalif (the opposer of the truth) is not lifted from the scholar due to anticipation of harm, unless it is harm he is not able to bear.  Then (in this case), Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear.  The earth is not devoid of people of knowledge who will carry out refutation against the Mubtadi and the Mukhaalif.” [Al Ajwibah Al Mukhtasar Alaa As-ila Al-Ashrati pages 43-44]

Allaah (The Most High) said:

فَتَقَطَّعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَهُم بَيۡنَہُمۡ زُبُرً۬ا‌ۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَيۡہِمۡ فَرِحُونَ

”But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief.” [23:53]

They should debate every group and give advice to all, so that they can traverse upon the path Allaah has ordained for His slaves, and the path which His Messenger Muhammad (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) called to.

This Admin – once again – is judged based on their companionship, allies and associates. They invited the caller to faslehood (Abu Usaamah) in the past and now they invite Adnaan Abdur Qaaadir.

And Allaah knows best.

Adnaan Abdul Qaadir – Student of the Mubtadi (Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq) and Affiliate of Ihyaa Turaath) – a Guest at Markaz at-Tawheed (Stoke), Masjid Al-Furqan (Manchester) and Muhammadi Masjid (Bradford)]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allaah [The Most High] said:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [Surah An-Nisaa. Ayah 135]

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Whoever among you sees evil, let him change it with his hand. If he is unable to do so, then with his tongue. If he is unable to do so, then with his heart, and that is the weakest level of faith”. [Saheeh Muslim 49]

Firstly, who is Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq? He is a well known Ikhwaanee and a Mubtadi (an innovator in the religion). So, before reading the evidences, let us quote a statement of one of the pious predecessors – Imaam Al-Awzaa’ee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] who stated: “O Muslims! Fear Allaah, accept the advice of the sincere advisers and the admonition of the admonishers. know that this knowledge is religion, so beware of what you do, from whom you take your religion, the one you follow and the one with whom your religion is safe, because indeed all the proponents of religious innovation are all falsifiers, liars and sinners. They are not cautious – neither do they pay attention nor do they fear, and together with that they are not to be trusted that they would not distort what you hear. They say what they do not know with regards to what they disapprove and when proclaiming their lies; but Allaah (knows, hears and sees) what they do. Therefore, be cautious of them, trust them not, reject them and avoid them, because indeed this is what your earlier scholars did and commanded, and likewise the righteous ones who came thereafter. Be careful of opposing Allaah and being the means to destroying the religion He has ordained – breaking its commands and prohibitions, nullifying and weaking it by respecting the innovators in religious affairs and those who initiate that which is not from the religion, because you know what has been transmitted (i.e. the prohibitions) about respecting or exalting them. And what can be greater respect and exaltation than acquiring your religion from them- following and believing them, drawing close to them and assisting them in enticing the ones they entice and woo to their views and the religion (i.e. religious innovations) they follow. This is sufficient to be regarded as associates of theirs in what they do”. (1)

Who is Adnaan Abdul Qaadir? He is a student of the Ikhwaanee Mubtadi (Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq) about whom you have read in the above links. Adnaan praises and shelters Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq saying that he was one of those who spread pure Islamic monotheism as follows:

Indeed, whoever praises or shelters an innovator in the religion has committed a major sin. Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] – the one who never speaks out of his own desire, rather everything he says in religion is divine revelation from his Lord – stated: “Allaah has cursed the one who slaughters (i.e. an animal as sacrifice) for other than Allaah. Allaah has cursed the one who curses his parents. Allaah has cursed the one who shelters a Muhdith. Allaah has cursed the one who alters the landmarks”. [Reported by Imaam Muslim 1978]

[لَعَنَ الله- Allaah has cursed]: It means to be repelled and distanced from Allaah’s mercy (2) Shaikhul Islaam [i.e. Imaam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhaab (rahimahullaah)] said: Allaah curses the one who deserves to be cursed by way of statement, just as he sends blessings to the one who deserves blessings. Allaah said:

He it is Who sends His blessings and praises on you, and His angels too [ask Allaah to bless and forgive you], that He may bring you out from darkness [of disbelief and polytheism] into light [of Belief and Islamic Monotheism]. And He is Ever Most Merciful to the believers. Their greeting on the Day they shall meet Him will be “Salam: Peace (i.e. the angels will say to them: Salamu ‘Alaikum)!” [Surah Al-Ahzaab. Aayaat 43-44]

Allaah said: [إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَعَنَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِينَ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمۡ سَعِيرًا -Verily, Allah has cursed the disbelievers, and has prepared for them a flaming Fire (Hell)]. [Surah Al-Ahzaab. Aayah 64] (3)

The section of the hadeeth we wish to highlight here is the Messenger’s statement, “Allaah has cursed the one who shelters a Muhdith”. The word Muhdith pronounced with a kasrah under the Daal means a culprit, perpetrator; and pronounced with a Fat-hah on the Daal (Muhdath) means an affair innovated in the religion, sheltering and being pleased with it]. (4) “Allaah has cursed the one who shelters a Muhdith”- Meaning: [a] Those who shelter Ahlul Bidah Wal Ma’aasee [The Proponents of innovation in religion and Disobedience] and aid them. [b] Those who stop the one who establishes the legislated Islamic punishment against the innovator [i.e. such as preventing the Muslim ruler from punishing the innovator or the scholar who refutes him]. [c] Those who establish innovation in religion and support it. [Ref 8] This innovation includes that of the Jahmiyyah, the Mutazilah and others. So, whoever shelters an innovator (in religion) is cursed and likewise the one who aids him. In this is a warning against Bidah and newly invented matters (i.e. beliefs, acts of worship, methodologies) in the religion. The Prophet said, “Beware of newly invented matters in the religion, for every innovation [in religious affairs] is misguidance”. The apparent meaning of this hadeeth [is that this is the case regarding bidah], even if it is a small bidah. (5)

Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah protect him] stated: It is not permissible to exalt and praise the innovators even if they have some truth with them. That is because raising and praising them will spread their bidah and place them amongst the sincere ones-those who are taken as examples amongst distinguished men of this Ummah. The Salaf warned against having trust for the innovators, (warned against) praising them and their gatherings. In this regard, Asad Ibn Musa (rahimahullaah) wrote: ”Beware of being a brother of the innovator (by association) or a companion of his, or one whom you sit with; for indeed it has been narrated that ‘Whoever sits with a person of innovation has left the protection of Allaah and is entrusted to himself’.

The innovators must be warned against and kept away from even if they have some truth with them. Indeed, the most astray are not devoid of some truth, but as long as they have with them innovation, opposition and sinful views, it is not permissible to praise and exalt them. It is impermissible to not have an objection against their innovation because this spreads bidah, belittles the Sunnah and by way of this the innovator will emerge and become a guide for the Ummah.

As for giving consideration (to the fact) that the innovation has some truth, this does not justify praising him. This is -to a far greater extent- against what is of overriding benefit and it is known in relation to a principle in the religion that averting harm takes precedence over seeking that which is of benefit. And with regards to having hatred for the innovator, the harm that is averted from the Ummah is weightier than the benefit possessed by the innovator. And had we adhered to this concept (i.e. praising the innovator because he has some truth with him), then no one would have been judged to be misguided and declared an innovator. That is because there is not an innovator except that he has some truth and adherence to the Sunnah. The innovator (may) neither be a disbeliever nor be in opposition to all the Islamic legislation; rather he is either an innovator in some or most of the affairs. However, if the innovation is particularly related to affairs of Creed and Methodology, then the affair is dangerous indeed because it will become an example (to be followed); innovation will spread and the innovators will become active in spreading their innovation. So, this person who praises the innovators and makes their affair obscure to the people -due to some truth they (i.e. innovators) have – is one of two (people): Either he is one ignorant of the methodology of the pious predecessors and their stance against the innovators, so neither is it permissible for this ignorant one to speak nor is it permissible for the Muslims to listen to him; or he is one who has an objection to the truth because he knows the danger of innovation and the innovators, but he wishes to spread innovations. Nevertheless, this is a dangerous affair and it is not permissible to be lackadaisical with regards to innovation and its people, whatever that may be. (6)

After being acquainted with the Mubtadi (Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaalid) and his student Adnaan, then indeed we must now acquaint you with their organisation called (Ihyaa At-Turaath)! Read here what the scholars aay about this organisation:

Ihyaa at-Turaath – an organisation that was headed by the innovator Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaalid and in which Adnaan Abdul Qaadir also participates – invite other deviated speakers: Read here by Shaikh Abu Iyaad: Jam’iyyah Ihyaa al-Turaath (Kuwait) and The Aqeedah of the Jahmiyyah Maatureediyyah:

After being acquainted with Ihyaa At-Turaath, then indeed we must now remind you about those who co-operate with them, such as Greenlane. Read here about Greenlane:

After being acquainted with the false methodology of the Mubtadi (Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq) and Adnaan Abdul Qaadir, then indeed the affair of Greenlane (Birmingham), Markaz at-Tawheed (Stoke On Trent), Masjid Al-Furqan (Manchester) and Muhammadi Masjid (Bradford) becomes manifest, because they are companions or hosts of Adnaan Abdul Qaadir – the one who praises and shelters an innovator in the religion and you’ve already read about the gravity of such as sin in the statement of the Messenger, “Allaah has cursed the one who shelters a Muhdith”. The picture below shows where Adnaan – student and shelterer of an innovator – is going to visit…..

This is the companionship of Markaz at-Tawheed, Greenlane, Muhammadi Masjid, Masjid Al-Furqan (Manchester) and their ilk.

Indeed, these Masaajid and their ilk ally and accompany those who shelter an innovator in the religion, even though they claim to be upon the authentic Sunnah. Allaah [The Most Most High] said:

يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُونَ
ڪَبُرَ مَقۡتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُواْ مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُونَ

O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not do? Most hateful it is with Allah that you say that which you do not do. [Surah As-Saff. Aayaat 2-3]

Therefore, when you enter Stoke On Trent, then know without any doubt that there are only two Masjids – [Masjid Al Furqan (105 Roundwell St, Tunstall ST6 5AW) and Masjid Abi Hurairah (North Rd. ST6 2BP) – that are free from all the innovators and their allies. And when you enter Manchester or Greater Manchester, then know that there are only two Masjids free from the innovators and their allies (Al-Markazus Salafi – Cheemthamhill) and Masjid al-Huda (Bolton – BL3 4DU). And when you enter Bradford, then know that there is only one Masjid that is free from the innovators and their allies, and that is Masjid As-Sunnah (3 Paternoster lane, BD7 3DS). We ask Allaah to grant us the Tawfeeq to cling to the Sunnah, abandon the innovators in religion and those who shelter them. We also ask Allaah to guide them or protect us from their falsehood Aameen.

The Importance of Grasping True Realities of Fitan, Clear Perception of Historical Realities and Truths – [Reminder to Salafi Maraakiz, Especially Younger Admins, Teachers and Khutabaa]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allaah [The Exalted] stated: [وَذَكِّرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ – And remind (by preaching the Qur’an, O Muhammad) for verily, the reminding profits the believers] [Surah Adh-Dhaariyaat. Aayah 55]

وأخبر الله أن الذكرى تنفع المؤمنين، لأن ما معهم من الإيمان والخشية والإنابة، واتباع رضوان الله، يوجب لهم أن تنفع فيهم الذكرى، وتقع الموعظة منهم موقعها كما قال تعالى: { فَذَكِّرْ إِنْ نَفَعَتِ الذِّكْرَى سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنْ يَخْشَى وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْأَشْقَى }

Imaam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated regarding this Aayah: Reminder is of two types- reminding by way of that which whose full details is unknown, however it is known in general by sound innate disposition and intellect. That is because Allah created the intellect upon the sound natural disposition to love good and give it precedence, hate evil and abstain from it, and His divine (commands and prohibitions) are in consonance with that. All the commands and prohibitions of the divine law is reminder. The complete reminder is to mention the good, the merits and welfare in what is commanded, and the harm found in that which is prohibited.

The second type of reminder is to remind the believers regarding that which is known to the believers, but they’ve become negligent and absentminded, so they are to be reminded and (the reminder) repeated to them so that it becomes firmly established in their minds, become attentive and act upon what they have been reminded, then they become active and enthusiastic which will bring about for them benefit and improvement.

Allaah informs us that reminder benefits the believers, because what they possess of Imaan (sound faith), Khasyah (fear of Allaah founded upon knowledge of the greatness of the one who is feared, and the complete and perfect Sovereignty and Dominion that is His), Inaabah (turning to Allaah in obedience and avoiding disobedience etc) (1) and seeking after Allaah’s Pleasure, this necsssitates (i.e. with the help of Allaah) that reminder will benefit them, and makes the admonition more useful in such circumstance, just as Allaah [The Exalted] said:

فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰ
وَيَتَجَنَّبُہَا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى

So remind (the people with this Qurʾān), where reminder (will) benefit (them); (for) he will receive reminder (and take admonition) who fears Allāh. But the one who is (decreed to be) wretched (in Allāh’s prior knowledge) will avoid it (by choosing disbelief) (and thus become wretched). [Surah Al-A’laa. Aayaat 9-11. Translation by Shaikh Abu Iyaad]

As for the one with neither Imaan nor ready to accept reminder, this one will not benefit -similar to the swamp land that is not benefitted anything by rain. With regards to these people, even if every (clear) sign came to them, they will not believe until they see the painful punishment”. [Paraphrased]

Firstly, we ask Allaah to include us amongst those whose hearts are always ready to receive reminder and act upon, ask Allaah to rectify for us our religious and worldly affairs; and we remind ourselves of the supplication:

O Allah! Rectify my religion for me, which is the safeguard of my affairs; rectify my worldly [affairs], wherein is my livelihood; and rectify my Afterlife to which is my return; and make life for me [as a means of] increase in every good and make death for me as a rest from every evil. [Saheeh Muslim Number: 2720]

Secondly, we remind ourselves once again that we have a lot to learn from the elder teachers who preceded us in Salafiyyah and are still upon clarity- those who continue to transmit the sound Aqeedah and Manhaj, visited and sat with the senior scholars for many years, adhered to their advice and transmitted enough material to establish clarity during the Fitna of the deviated personalities (Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq, Adnaan Ar’oor, Mahmood Al-Haddaad, Safar Al-Hawaali, Salmaan al-Awdah, Ali Al-Halabi, Faleh al-Harbi, Abul Hasan Al-Maribi, Fawzi Al-Bahraini, Yahyah al-Hajuri, Muhammad al-Maghraawi etc), and at present they are dealing with the fitna of Dr Mhammad Bin Haadi. Therefore, the affair is not merely about transmitting the books of the scholars and translating quotes, especially from the books of Al-Allaamah Rabee; rather the affair is about steadfastness, truthfulness, experience and insight by the Tawfeeq of Allaah. Indeed, the one who is alive is not safe from Fitan, but we have good suspicion of our Lord that He will protect us and our families. One of the affairs we must pay attention to – by the Tawfeeq of Allaah – is that we are aware of the importance of grasping the true realities of the fitan, clear perception of historical realities and truths. In 2003, the elder teachers at Salafipublications wrote as follows:

1. The origins of this fitnah lie with al-Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen, since Abul Hasan al-Ma’ribee came from them, and like those before him, those who are his close and intimate friends like Adnaan Ar’oor, from whom Shaikh Abdul-Muhsin al-Abbaad has warned against severely. Perhaps you are aware, maybe not, but Shaikh Abdul-Muhsin al-Abbaad has warned from sitting and taking knowledge from Ar’oor, why? Because of his false principles, and these principles are the ones that Abul-Hasan al-Ma’ribee has taken and developed further. Refer to the book that refutes Ahmad Salaam written by Abu Noor which contains the statements of the Major Scholars who refuted the false principles of Adnaan Ar’oor and the statement of Shaikh Abdul-Mushin al-Abbaad is found there also, in which he says that the man is one of false principles and no one should take from him. Al-Ma’ribee is actually a partner to the crime of Ar’oor, and has extended the principles of Ar’oor. Unfortunately, because al-Ma’ribee is more shrewd than Ar’oor his reality has remained hidden for the most part.

2. The accusations and labels of “Ghullaat” therefore, have their origins in the war of al-Ikhwaan against the Salafees. This began with the principles of Hasan al-Banna, then in more recent times with Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq and Salman al-Awdah, and today this thought is represented by Abul-Hasan al-Ma’ribee and Adnaan Ar’oor. Both of them are partners in this war against Salafiyyah, the only difference is that Al-M’aribee was more intelligent and shrewd, and entered the Salafees covertly and was not an open foul-mouth unlike Adnaan Ar’oor who gave himself away from the beginning. Ar’oor was not shrewd, he tried to teach manhaj from the books of Sayyid Qutb, with the claim that he is ironing out the mistakes, but the Salafee Mashaayikh and the Salafees looked upon him as a fool. But al-Ma’ribee waited till the time was right for him, or at least when he thought it was right, and he actually came out in the name of “the Usool of Salafiyyah”, unlike all the previous people whose attachment to the Innovators, like Sayyid Qutb and his teachings, was more readily apparent.

3. In light of this, from the very beginning, the brother Abu Usamah unfortunately, gets the whole picture totally and utterly wrong, and this shows the great inhiraaf (deviation) and inherent danger that lies in being ignorant of historical truths and realities and facts. This is because initial underlying perceptions, if they are not correct, can set a person upon a path of great misguidance, since all subsequent facts, occurrences, and issues are built around these perceptions. So if the initial perceptions are not correct, then what follows on from them are incorrect. And this is the problem with Abu Usamah and his likes, those who have not really grasped and understood the issues of manhaj in our times, have not comprehend historical realities, or what the great fuss is all about. There are many who ascribe themselves to Salafiyyah and many of them sincerely seeking the truth, who unfortunately, fall into this same problem. And this leads them to become susceptible to, if not actually being poisoned by the concepts underlying the manhaj of Ikhwaan (and as you will see later in this series, if Allaah wills), and yet they think they are defending Salafiyyah from the “Ghullaat”, and then this starts becoming clear in their walaa and baraa and their speech and their behaviour.

Ibn al-Qayyim said in al-Fawaa’id: “A Lofty Benefit: The Basis, Origin of Every Knowledge and Action: The basis, origin of all theoretical knowledge and every wilfully chosen action are the thoughts (khawaatir) and ideas (afkaar). For they necessitate conceptions (visualisations, imaginations) [in the minds], and these conceptions invite towards iraadaat (i.e. the desires, will, intent for something), and these iraadaat require the occurrence of the action. And the frequent repetition of the occurrence of this action, then leads to a habit”.

Hence, the rectitude of all of these steps lies in the rectitude of the (initial) thoughts and ideas, and the corruption (of all these steps) lies in them also… So understand this, and know that the directions taken by the likes of Abu Usamah and Abdul-Qadir and others who associated with Salafiyyah for many years, but without grasping the true realities of the fitan that were to come, and without giving due importance to the path of the Salaf, was due to their general ignorance and lack of perception of historical realities and truths, and facts that pertained to the fitnah of Ikhwaaniyyah, in contemporary da’wah, and in the absence of this, they continued upon flawed perceptions till this day, and this perfectly explains the behaviour that is now emerging from them. Even if from certain angles they knew certain things, they missed the important perspectives by far and as Abu Usamah often speaks about “sophistication”, but unfortunately he himself lacks it, and was not able to grasp matters and gain clear, comprehensive thoughts with respect to them.

Instead of basing perceptions upon a comprehensive understanding of the Usool of the Salaf, the people who went astray did so because they had their perceptions built upon isolated events and occurrences. As an example, the Gulf War, or the fitnah of Safar and Salman, or the fitnah of Ihyaa at-Turaath or the fitnah of al-Ma’ribee. And this is what subsequently determined their behaviour and outlook. This is what we are seeing with Abu Usamah and Abdul-Qadir and their likes. Their mistake and error is known by the fact that this new wave of polemic that has come from them, only came after the fitnah of al-Ma’ribee, which shows that this is a new orientation they have brought that is newly arisen. But even though it is a new orientation, its roots can still be traced to the fitnahs that preceded it like that of Ar’oor and Shayijee and others.

As for the Salafees, then their manhaj has not changed, because their perceptions have not changed, because their perceptions were only ever based upon the Usool of the Manhaj of the Salaf, especially where the fitnah of al-Ikhwaan was concerned. Hence, there is consistency in their stances, their positions, the application of their principles, and this was uniform and remained the same for the fitnahs of Qutb, Safar and Salman, Suroor, Turaath, Ar’oor, Maghraawi and Ma’ribee. The Salafees never changed, there was a natural progression in their views and stances in each of these fitnahs, because in reality, these fitnahs were all connected and stemmed from each other. So in reality, those who brought something new are the followers of al-Ma’ribee, and they know this themselves, because prior to the fitnah of al-Maghraawee and al-Ma’ribee all those who ascribed to Salafiyyah at large, were actually united upon the deviation of Ar’oor and Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq and Safar and Salman and ash-Shayijee and others, they all took the criticisms of the scholars, even if some were found who praised them, and they all knew that something of the manhaj of Ikhwaan was found with these people. So the likes of Abu Usamah know this, and this is actually a hujjah upon them, to show that they are the ones who changed and they are the ones who brought something new, not the other way around. There is no natural progression in their Usool, rather this changed, as is clear. And they got affected, just like their predecessors from the followers of Safar and Salman, or Ar’oor got affected, and thereafter they still thought they were upon Salafiyyah when in reality the ideas and concepts and their general polemic was actually Ikwhaanee in essence.

4. Allaah is not testing the Da’was Salafiyyah by those whom you call Ghullaat, and to whom you ascribe “taqleed” and “baatil principles”, and really, whether you like it or not, or whether you intend it or not, this is actually an attack upon the manhaj of Shaikh Rabee’ and Shaikh Ubaid and Shaikh Ahmad an-Najmee and others. Without you realising, even though you might intend the youth with your speech, then their positions are taken from these scholars who spoke on each of these fitnahs, the fitnah of Safar and Salman, Ar’oor, al-Maghrawee, al- Ma’ribee and who refuted the false principles brought by these Ikhwaanees. But because Abu Usamah and his likes spent the last 6 or 7 years in ignorance and often mocking and laughing at those Salafees who gave importance to issues of manhaj, and who tried to gain baseerah with respect to them, then it should come as no surprise that now, when the fitnah has come to them from the Ikhwaan, by way of Abul-Hasan al-Ma’ribee, that they are defending what they think to be Salafiyyah, when it is in reality Ikhwaaniyyah. And don’t be surprised that all of the Qutubiyyeen and Surooriyyeen and others, have joined with them, and entered amongst them, in order to fight the Salafees, even if they (Abu Usamah and his likes free themselves from the Qutubiyyeen and Surooriyyeen).

5. You find the likes of Abu Usamah, that many of their statements or actions or positions allow many from Ahl ul-Bid’ah to attack the Salafees. This is only because their hearts have resembled each other because the personalities that they got affected by and in whom they placed “ghuluww” (like Safar and Salman, Ar’oor, Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaaliq, al-Maghraawee, al-Ma’ribee) and others, all of them were actually Ikhwaanees, some of them overt Ikhwaanees, and others were covert Ikhwaanees. We ourselves used to experience individuals who would come from Ma’rib, years ago, and we were amazed that they were Takfeerees, defenders of Safar and Salmaan, and we experienced statements of takfeer from them, and their alignment in general was Qutubi, and they had great aversion for the Salafees. And also they would be promoting the book “as-Siraaj al-Wahhaaj Fee Bayaan il-Minhaaj”, which in reality was the new dustoor for the Ikhwaanee Da’wah. So this surprised us that individuals like this have been through the system at Ma’rib with al-Ma’ribee for six months or a year or longer, and this is how they emerged from Ma’rib, going in as Takfeerees, Qutubees and coming out as Takfeerees, Qutubees, but this time with a dustoor for their da’wah. But as for now it is no longer surprising because the reality of this man has become clear to most people.

6. The above assumptions and claims made by Abu Usamah are therefore untrue. Allaah has tested the Da’wah Salafiyyah and the Salafees by the fitnah of al-Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen and their war against the truth, not the other way around. Whoever claims the opposite, then certainly he is ignorant, and perhaps he was never taught the importance of learning history at school. Ikhwaaniyyah came from Safar and Salman, Adnan Ar’oor, Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaaliq, and al-Ma’ribee, and as for al-Maghraawee then he got poisoned by Adnaan Ar’oor, a concrete fact, and it was only a matter of time before his Qutubiyyah began to emerge in his statements. So all of these people got taken by their companionship. The Salaf said, “It is from the fiqh of a man that he looks at who he mixes with and enters upon” or words with this same meaning. There are many of those who ascribe to Salafiyyah but they do not give attention to this fiqh. Which is why in this current fitnah, they have no fiqh.

7. The above expression of Abu Usamah is just one of many expressions in the chain of the evolution of the Ikhwaani polemic against the Salafees. We have heard these and similar meanings, in the slogans that have passed: “The Jews and Christians are Safe from you, but the Muslims are not”, “Murij’ah with the Rulers and Khawaarij with the Callers”, “Takfeerees with the Salafees” and so on, and “Ghullaat” is a natural extension. These came from the direction of Abdur-Razzaaq ash-Shayijee, Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq, and Adnaan Ar’oor also played his role in spreading these ideas across Europe and America and elsewhere. So it comes as no surprise to us, that in the past month or so, Abul-Hasan al-Ma’ribee has actually utilised the books written by ash-Shayijee in the mid-90s to attack the Salafee Scholars, as has been pointed out by Shaikh Rabee. And hence, it comes as no surprise also that those who followed him the West, carry the same underlying concepts in the slogans they are now using against the Salafees.

8. We have just passed by a time in which al-Ikhwaan and their ideas, over a series of decades, had permeated the whole Ummah, and when Shaikh Rabee’ stood up to their falsehood, beginning with their figureheads, and then those who followed them, it set off a series of events and counter-reactions, which with every fitnah that arose (like that of Safar and Salman, then Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaaliq and ash-Shayijee, then Ar’oor, then al-Maghraawee, then al-Ma’ribee and the Mumayyi’ah), made the battle between Salafiyyah and Ikhwaaniyyah more subtle and acute. And thus these same counter-reactions towards those who stood up to this Ikhwaaniyah were often found amongst a people who did not grasp what was taking place during these momentous times, and nor did they grasp the details of the Salafee manhaj, and nor were they stringent and severe in applying and following this manhaj if they did know it. People like Abu Usamah and whoever else allied with Al-Maghraawee or al-Ma’ribee are a representation of this faction of people, and there are varying degrees and levels amongst these types of people, with some of them more severe than others.

9. Shaikh Rabee’ is an Imaam of the Sunnah, just like Imaam Ahmad at his time, because what he has done in this age, is similar to what Imaam Ahmad did in relation to the Mu’tazilah and the Jahmiyyah who had permeated the whole Ummah. Look at what Usamah al-Qoosee said before this fitnah broke out. Unfortunately, he is amongst those who has been caught up in this fitnah and the Ulamaa have spoken about. But just look at what he said within the last two years, before this fitnah broke out: quote: “Shaykh Rabee’ in our view is a mihnah (trial, test), in this time of ours, Shaykh Rabee’ is a mihnah, just like Imaam Ahmad (rahimahullaah), and naturally, Imaam Ahmad is greater than Shaykh Rabee’, but this is because one era differs from another era. So Imaam Ahmad during his time, then his example is Shaykh Rabee’ in our time, so we say, Shaykh Rabee’ is not just an individual, Shaykh Rabee’ in our view, is a (complete) manhaj, Shaykh Rabee’ is the Carrier of the Flag of Jarh and Ta’deel in these times, as has been said by Shaykh al-Albaani (rahimahullaahu ta’aalaa).

So the one who speaks about Shaykh Rabee’ in our view, then he is not a Salafee, he is not a Salafee, even if he claims that, then he is not a Salafee. We do not declare him a disbeliever, but he is not a Salafee. Because if he was a Salafee then he would have [words unclear] that Shaykh Rabee’s manhaj is Salafee, pure and clear, clear, with no impurities…… ,the problem with Shaykh Rabee’, the only problem is that Shaykh Rabee’ is truthful, he does not lie, nor does he fabricate, and nor does he compromise (flatter)…”

So we ask, whose manhaj has changed throughout the fitnahs of Safar and Salman, Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaaliq, at-Turaath, ash-Shayijee, Ar’oor, al-Maghraawee, al-Ma’ribee and others? Did Shaikh Rabee’ change? The problem with Usamah al-Qoosee and those like him is what he himself mentioned, which is that they unfortunately compromised with and flattered Abul-Hasan al-Ma’ribee when they should have sat back and not spoken and remained with the Scholars who are old enough to be their fathers, if not grandfathers. Had they done this, then we would not be having this conversation, but what Allaah wills occurs and this is just a purification period for the true Salafi manhaj from the effects of Ikhwaaniyyah.

10. So we as clear firm Salafees, by Allaah’s permission, say that Shaikh Rabee’ remains a mihnah, because he is from those scholars who are most experienced in this field, and they are more grounded in this knowledge than others, and this is apparent to anyone open-minded person who has been reading their works and listening to their cassettes for almost the past decade.

11. As for those who do not understand these affairs, and who are from that faction of people alluded to ealier, who became susceptible to the counter-reactions of the Hizbiyyeen to the scholars clarifying the manhaj, then it is only natural that they were led to making accusations of “taqleed” and so on, and this will become clear as we continue to comment upon the speech of Abu Usamah, if Allaah wills. And similarly, the accusation of “ghuluww” that you see being made against the Salafees who are with these Shaikhs, then even though it is not explicitly intended, it implicitly includes these Shaikhs. Because Abul-Hasan al-Ma’ribee’s war was against Shaikh Rabee’, and this is why he authored the book “as-Siraaj al-Wahhaaj”, which he has openly admitted. And thus, when we see Abu Usamah and Abdul-Qadir and others bringing these accusations of “ghuluww” and so on, then know that their predecessor is Abul-Hasan al-Ma’ribee and his intent was to pull down Shaikh Rabee’ and his brothers from the Scholars of the Salafee manhaj who were instrumental in exposing some of the Ikhwaanee imposters before him (like Ar’oor). Hence, when we see the likes of Abu Usamah and Abdul-Qadir and those upon their Ikhwaanee manhaj uttering this speech, then know that even though they may not explicitly intend these Shaikhs, then whether they know it or not, they have taken this speech from the Ikhwaanees who actually intended Shaikh Rabee and others. And this is only a result of their ignorance and their entering into issues of which they have no knowledge.

12. Compare between the angle that the likes of Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq, Abdur-Razzaaq ash-Shayijee, Ar’oor, and Ali Timimi and others came from, and you will note that al-Ma’ribee and Abu Usamah and his likes are a continuation of their tradition, because all of them collectively, got taken by way of the Ikhwaanees. Because those people came out with the slogans, “Salafiyyah Jadeedah (New Salafiyyah)”, i.e. attacking the Salafees of bringing a new manhaj and new principles, and “distortion of the concepts of Sunnah and Salafiyyah to support the New World Order” and “not distinguishing between bid’ah and mubtadi” and similar rants, and on this pretence, did ash-Shayijee and others write their books, attacking the manhaj of Shaikh Rabee’, claiming it was new, and was devised. They all came out to attack the Jarh that relates to the Innovators because they were upon corrupt methodologies themselves.

And lo and behold. What do we see from Abul-Hasan al-Ma’ribee. He is from them, he is an Ikhwaanee, and hence, when you look at the way he came out, by Allaah it was identical. The claims of needing to correct the usool, and make a new ta’seel for the manhaj and so on, the accusations of Haddaadiyyah, laying down principles to accommodate the groups and sects, trying to revise the field of jarh of the innovators and so on. Which is why you see him and the Mumayyi’ah in general, they have great similarities with those who came before them. When you look at their speech, their slogans, their polemic, subhaanallaah, it is parallel to those who came before them who got taken by way of the Ikhwaan. By Allaah, it is not therefore amazing at all to the Salafees, that in recent months, Al-Ma’ribee has been employing the books and claims of the likes of ash-Shayijee to attack the Salafee manhaj. So this is the actual mess that Abu Usamah and his likes are caught up in. But as we said earlier, one who is not taught history, will not understand the fiqh of the waaqi’.

13. We request that the likes of Abu Usamah and those upon his way, spend some time out to research and write a 5,000 word essay on the similarities between the manhaj of Ar’oor, ash-Shayijee and Abul-Hasan al-Ma’ribee, and then to present it to us Monday morning, and explain to us whether there are any broad essential differences, in their usool and in the way they have come out to attack the Salafee manhaj? If they do this, it might open up their eyes a little, and make them realise the baatil that they are upon. [Posted at salafitalk.net]

NB: Regarding the “third group” mentioned in the above document, this does not apply to Shaikh Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhayli [may Allaah rectify his affair], because we have already been cautioned regarding his affair by both Al-Allaamah Rabee and Shaikh Abu Iyaad, as well as Shaikh Abu Khadeejah [may Allaah protect them]. Who Did Shaikh Abu Iyaad Receive Recommendation From as a Student of Knowledge?- [Brief Reply to Those Who Ask From The East and The West]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

One of our elders and teachers [may Allaah protect him] who is abroad at present informed us today at 5.47 am that some people have started once again seeking to question Shaikh Abu Iyaad’s credentials as a student of knowledge; therefore, we briefly present here that which will suffice the honest seeker of clarity. Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiri [may Allaah protect him] stated when asked about the Salafi callers:

I say: I advise you- if you do love those who give sincere advice- that neither accept cassettes nor books except those of a person whom you know to be upon the Sunnah and a witness of that is established for him-the one well-known to be upon the Sunnah and an opposition to it is not manifested from him. This is an (abiding) general principle applied to him whilst he is alive and after his death. The one who passed away and we regarded him to be upon the Sunnah, then in our view he is upon the Sunnah and we ask Allaah to keep him firm upon it in the afterlife [i.e. Allaah grants him firmness to answer the questions in the grave due to adherence to the Sunnah (Tawheed and following the Messenger) and resurrects him in the afterlife as a person of Sunnah] just as he was kept firm upon it whilst he was alive…Aameen. This is the first affair. Secondly: If the affair of a person is hidden from you–the one whose books and cassettes are famous and his fame is widespread–then ask those who are well acquainted with him and those who know about his state of affairs. That is because neither is the Sunnah hidden nor are its people. A man’s Tazkiyah (i.e. the clear witness that he is upright upon the Sunnah) are his own actions. His Tazkiyah are his own actions that he is upon the Sunnah. It is the witness and the people mention him with it during his life and after his death. Therefore, ponder upon the above statement written in bold. The one – Al Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al Jaabiri – who made the statement we’ve typed in bold is the same one who spoke about Shaikh Abu Iyaad, Shaikh Abu Hakeem and Shaikh Abu Khadeejah [may Allaah protect them] as follows https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JfHq48Dl0k

May Allaah preserve the scholars and their students Aameen.

“Warnings Against Shaikh Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhayli’s UK Gathering is Emotional and Baseless” – [Brief Rebuttal Against a Loudmouth Fool]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

From Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Nuʿmān bin Bashīr (raḍiyallāhu ʿanhumā) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallallāhu alayhi wasallam) saying, “That which is lawful is clear and that which is unlawful is clear and between the two are ambiguous matters which many people do not know of. So whoever took caution regarding the ambiguous matters has absolved himself regarding his religion and his honour. And whoever fell into the doubtful matters has fallen into the unlawful, just like the shepherd who grazes his flock around the sanctuary (of a king), all but grazing therein. Indeed, every king has a sanctuary (that cannot be violated) and indeed the sanctuary of Allāh is his prohibitions. Indeed, there is a morsel of flesh in the body which if it is sound the whole body is sound and which if itis corrupt the whole body is corrupt. Indeed, it is the heart.” [https://www.nawawis40hadith.com/nw/hadith/6/the-doubtful-matters ]

Firstly, we remind the loudmouth fool or ignoramus that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said: “That which is lawful is clear and that which is unlawful is clear”. What is absolutely clear is that Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi clearly opposed what is lawful and committed what is clearly unlawful by making Tabdee without proof. Read here: Reminder: Al-Allaamah Rabiʿ’s request for Shaykh Muḥammad bin Hādī to justify his tabdīʿ of Salafī students and shaykhs and to explicitly name the major scholars he accused of being “affected” and “destroyed” by the “Ṣaʿāfiqah” – one month, no answer- By Shaikh Abu Iyaad:

Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi committed a manifest crime and has clearly refused to recant, then how can anyone knowingly support and defend him?! Is there anything ambiguous in this affair O fool?! This is why Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi [may Allaah protect him] as well as Shaikh Abu Iyaad [may Allaah protect them] warned against everyone who knowingly supports Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi after he committed this crime of false Tabdee and refuses to recant to this day. Read and listen here: Warning against a Mistake or Behaviour Does Not Automatically Necessitate Tabdee; & a Mention of Shaikh Muhammad Bin Haadi’s & Shaikh Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhaylee’s Affair- [From 52mins onwards]:

Demand of Some Desperate Simpletons! [Give Original Arabic Text or Audio Regarding Shaikh Rabee’s Warning Against a Supporter of Muhammad Bin Haadi]

As for the fool’s statement that “None can stand before Allaah to justify this fake warning against Shaikh Sulaymaan Ar-Ruhayli”, even though the clear proofs of that which Dr Sulaymaan has done is manifest – defending Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi, who is guilty of false Tabdee and has refused to recant, then indeed we do not expect much from fools when they cannot see reality. “The reality of foolishness is to place something in other than its rightful place”. (1) “A fool imagines the impossible as the possible and the ignorant cannot differentiate the impossible from the possible. The fool knows the right thing but does not act upon it, and the ignorant one does not know the right thing, but would have acted upon it if he knew”. (2)

Finally, we say to the fool and his ilk [may Allaah guide them] that Imaam Sufyaan Bin Uyaynah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: [الصمت زين العالم ، وستر الجاهل – Silence adorns the scholar and covers the ignorant]. [معجم ابن المقرئ (1070)]

O fool! The scholars and their upright students speak based on knowledge and keep quiet based on knowledge; but as for you – Juwayhil and your ilk, it is incumbent upon you to remain so that your ignorance manifests and thus you shame yourself!

Imaam Ibnul Mubaarak [may Allaah have mercy upon him] was asked about the statement of Luqmaan [peace be upon him] to his son: [اذا كان الكلام من فضة فالسكوت من ذهب – If speech is from silver, then silence is from gold], so he said, “It means that if speech in obedience to Allaah is from silver, then silence (in order to refrain from) disobedience to Allaah is gold”. [Jaami-ul Uloom Wal-Hikam: page: 155]

May Allaah protect us from foolish behaviour Aameen.

The poet said, “Do not ask about a man, but ask about his companion, because every person guides himself by his companion”. [Al-Ibaanah 2/439] Ibn Mas’ood said, “Indeed, a person walks along & accompanies the one whom he loves & who is like him”. [Al-Ibaanah 2/476] Abu Dardaa said, “It is from the Fiqh (understanding of a person) that he (chooses) those whom he walks with, whom he enters upon (visits) & whom he sits with”. [Al-Ibaanah 2/477] Al-A’mash said, “The Salaf did not used to ask anything more about a person after having asked three affairs: Who he walks with, who he enters upon (visits) & who he associates with amongst the people”. [al-Ibaanah 2/478] Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood said, “Make consideration of the (regions of the) earth by the names given to them & make consideration of a person by his companion”. [al-Ibaanah 2/479] Mu’aadh Bin Mu’aadh said to Yahyah Bin Sa’eed, O Abu Sa’eed! A person may hide his viewpoint from us, but will not be able to hide that in his son, or his friend or in one whom he sits with”. [Al-Ibaanah 2/437] Translated by Spubs

The Place of Elder Salafi Teachers – Who Took The Lead and Dealt With Serious Matters In Person Under Guidance of The Scholars For Nearly 30 Years – Cannot Be Replaced By Anyone In The UK!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

“The one informed is not the same as the one who witnessed (with his own eyes). Indeed, Allaah [The Exalted] told Musa [peace be upon him] about what his people had done with the calf (i.e. worshipped the calf) and he did not throw the tablets, (but) when he saw what they had done, he threw the tablets (out of anger) and they broke”. [Saheeh Al-Jaami 5374]

Meaning, witnessing, as it is the attainment of definitive knowledge. Allaah created for His servants conscious ears and eyes that can see, and He did not make the news (in general) as powerful as witnessing with the eyes (in general). And just as he placed hearing and sight (around the) head (area), He also placed that in the heart (i.e. sound perception), so the knowledge of that which a person sees with his sight becomes robust, and what he perceives with the sight of his heart is stronger for him. Al-Kalaabaadhee [Abu Nasr, Ahmad Bin Muhammad Ibn Al-Husayn Ibnul Hasan Bin Ali Bin Rustom (may Allaah have mercy upon him)] said, “News is two types: the one that is (absolute) truth and can never carry mistakes- the news from Allaah and His Messenger. And this (hadeeth) may also refer to the new other than this first one.

If news referred to the first type, then its meaning is that eye witness is not like truthful news in strength- meaning news is stronger, more certain and far removed from doubts if it is truthful news, (because) the one who witnesses with his eyes can be mistaken – a person may see something in manner that is other than its true reality, such as what occurred in the story of Musa [peace be upon him] and the magicians. And if the hadeeth is applied to the second type of news, then its meaning is: the eye witness (in reality- without any deception etc) is not like news; rather it is stronger and more certain because the one who is informed is not reassured in his heart and his doubts do not seize regarding news from someone who can forget and make mistakes. The point is that if the report is true, it is stronger than the eye witness, or otherwise; however, the intent of what is mentioned with regards news refers to the second type [i.e. the true eye witness that is based on other than revelation and it contains no (deception, ambiguity) is stronger than true news (that is not based on revelation), even though both are accepted]. [An Excerpt from Faydul Qadeer. 5/356-357. paraphrased]

Indeed, besides the fact that the elder teachers have excelled us in both knowledge and experience, and the senior scholars – such as the likes of Al Allamah Rabee Bin Haadi and Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiri – have testified to their insight and experience, and in addition to this, they were and have always been – to this day – true eye witnesses to events related to Dawah, clarifications and refutations from the early 90s when many of us were not born and some of us were still in secondary schools, then indeed none can take their place in this affair. Therefore, when we come along -regardless our credentials and qualifications, we should not allow anyone to give us precedence and thus we begin to theorise what we have not witnessed in person nor were we one of those who dealt with affairs in person alongside the scholars; rather we learn from the experience of those elder teachers who have preceded us in knowledge, wisdom and experience. So, here we remind our beloved youth that firstly, if a person – after 25 to 30 years – was not from those elder teachers who took the lead in the UK to this day to deal with serious affairs in person whilst receiving directions from the scholars – due to being unable, busy with other affairs or because one was happy to delegate the Fardu Kifaayah to others – who alongside Al-Allaamah Rabee and Al-Allaamah Ubaid – dealt with the various serious affairs  in the UK, such as the Fitna of Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq, Adnaan Ar’oor, Mahmood Al-Haddad, Safar al-Hawaali, Salman Al-Awda, Al-Ma’ribi, Al-Halabi, Faaleh Al-Harbi, Fawzi Al-Bahraini, Yahyah Al-Hajuri, Muhammad Bin Haadi and others, then indeed – with all due respect – such a person cannot be the one we refer back to for precise and insightful advice regarding these affairs. So, how about those amongst us – regardless our credentials, qualifications and efforts in Dawah – who neither witnessed all these affairs nor some of them, neither were we eye witnesses from the early 90s nor from those whose experience and insight has been certified by the scholars in these affairs, even we benefit one another in other ways.

Likewise, do not lend an ear to the statements of anyone who says that these issues – (such as the refutations against Dr Muhammad Bin Haadi and his ilk) – are diversions from seeking knowledge whilst clarifications are being written and transmitted by the well-known elder students amongst us, because such statements or claims certainly manifests one’s naivity, inexperience and shortsightedness in this subject matter.

Likewise, transmitting the books or statements of Al-Allaamah Rabee on Manhaj issues is not enough to make a person a reference point in these affairs, rather the people more knowledgeable about these affairs in reality are those who – for the past 25 to 30 years- have closely worked with the Shaikh to deal with problems. Therefore, we remind ourselves and the youth to make a clear distinction in these affairs because just because one is a Khateeb, a teacher or an elder does not automatically make him one who is well versed in these affairs. No one in the UK – regardless their efforts in teaching, Dawah and adherence to Salafiyyah – can be more well acquainted with the manner in which to deal with these affairs than those elder teachers who have had direct contact with Al-Allaamah Rabee and Al-Allaamah Ubaid for the past two decades, whilst dealing – in person – with these affairs, clarifications and refutations against the obstinate people of error.

Let us respect and honour every Salafi, especially those elders who have preceded us in Salafiyyah and we learn from their experiences, but also placing everyone in his rightful place. So, in order to balance affairs related to studying and reading refutations, then indeed the youth must return to none but elders – those who have excelled us in both knowledge and experience, and the senior scholars – such as the likes of Al Allamah Rabee Bin Haadi and Al-Allaamah Ubaid Bin Abdillaah Al-Jaabiri – have testified to their insight and experience. In addition to this, they were and have always been – to this day – true eye witnesses to events related to Dawah, Fitan, clarifications and refutations in the UK from the early 90s when many of us were not born and some of us were still in secondary schools.

This is what wisdom necessitates as Abu Ismaa’eel Al-Harwee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Wisdom is to place something in its rightful place” (1) Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Wisdom is to do what is befitting (or obligatory) in a manner that is benefitting and the during a time it is befitting”. (2)

We ask Allaah to protect us from the trials and grant us life as long as life is good for us.

O Allah! Rectify my religion for me, which is the safeguard of my affairs; rectify my worldly [affairs], wherein is my livelihood; and rectify my Afterlife to which is my return; and make life for me [as a means of] increase in every good and make death for me as a rest from every evil. (4)
