Bitter Fruits of Technology, Especially Military, When Its Overseers Are Devoid of Piety and Belief In The Afterlife

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The Consequences When Goals, Aims and Deeds Are Not Founded Upon Piety

Allaah [The Most High] said:

Is it then he, who laid the foundation of his building on piety to Allah and His Good Pleasure, better, or he who laid the foundation of his building on an undetermined brink of a precipice ready to crumble down, so that it crumbled to pieces with him into the Fire of Hell. And Allah guides not the people who are the Zaalimoon [polytheists and wrong doers]. [Soorah At-Tawbah: Ayah: 109]

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: Whoever wants his building to be elevated, then it is incumbent upon him to strengthen and fortify its foundation, because the elevation of the building is based on the firmness and fortification of its foundation; deeds are a building and sound faith is their foundation. If the foundation is strong, it carries and elevates the building, and if a part of the building is damaged, it is easy for it to bear the (damage); but if the foundation is not firm, then neither will the building be elevated nor will it be firm; and if something from the foundation is damaged, the building will either collapse or close to that. Therefore, the duty of a knowledgeable person is that he makes the foundation sound and fortified. As for the ignorant person, he elevates (the building) whilst building upon other than a (strong) foundation, so his building does not remain.
The foundation of deeds is like the physical strength of a person- if the strength is vigorous, the body will be able to withstand burden and repel many harmful things; but if it is weak, the body’s ability to withstand burden is weakened and harm quickly overcomes the person. Therefore, support your building (i.e. your actions and deeds) with the foundation of sound faith, because if something from the top of your building decays and falls down, then it would be much easier to bear (the damage), rather than the destruction of the foundation. This foundation [i.e. sound faith] is based on two affairs:

Firstly, sound knowledge and awareness of Allaah, His Commandments, Names and Attributes. Secondly, complete submission to Allaah alone [i.e. by worshipping Him alone] and (unconditional obedience to) His Messenger alone. This is the firmest foundation upon which a servant of Allaah establishes his building (i.e. his actions and deeds). Therefore, one solidifies the foundation, preserves its strength and carries on being enthusiastic, and thus what is desired [i.e. success in this life and the next] will be reached [InShaaAllaah]. The Corruption Expected When One Does Not Believe In The Hereafter

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Indeed, those who do not expect the meeting with Us and are satisfied with the life of this world and feel secure therein and those who are heedless of Our signs. For those their abode will be the Fire because of what they used to earn. [Surah Yunus. Aayah 7-8]

Imaam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: They do not desire to meet Allaah, which is the greatest desire of those who have a desire and loftiest hope of those who hope; rather they turn away or may even belie it; satisfied with the life of this world, exchange the Afterlife for the worldly life, (completely) inclined towards the worldly life, make it the end of their aspiration and intention, seek after it, settle on its pleasures and desires through every path it can be attained and every direction they come across, and focus their willfully chosen desires, intentions and deeds to that. It is as if they were created to remain permanently in this worldly life – as if it is not a place of transition to the next life in which the travelers prepare provisions (i.e. good deeds) for the permanent abode to which the first and the last of the creation will travel – to its bliss and pleasures.

[وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا غَافِلُونَ – and those who are heedless of Our signs]- Meaning, neither do they benefit from the Qur’anic verses nor the signs in the universe and in their own selves. Turning away from the evidence necessitates turning away from and being heedless of that of what its guides to and intends. [أُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ مَأۡوَٮٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ بِمَا ڪَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ – For those their abode will be the Fire because of what they used to earn].

Technology and Military Technology In The Hands of Atheists and Those Who Do Not Fear Allaah

Imaam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Industrialization and modern inventions: Everyone has participated in it – the righteous, the wicked, the believer and the disbeliever. As for religion and (virtuous) manners, then indeed -in this era- it has greatly declined. So, when this industrial advancement is devoid of sound religion and Eemaan, it became a great harm from two angles: Firstly, it beguiled many people, who – due of their ignorance – think that worldly advancement is proof to show that its people are more worthy of achieving every good than others. They are clearly misguided, because maybe a person is one of the most skillful in affairs related to the material world whilst he is one of the most ignorant people in affairs related to the religion, virtuous manners and the (other) beneficial affairs in this life and the next. Secondly, when these inventions are devoid of sound religion, its mercy and wisdom, it becomes a great disaster for humankind due to the wars that result from them, killing, destruction and other affairs related to it. Its overseers and scholars are unable to laydown – for humankind – a stable, just and good life; rather they have not ceased moving from one miserable state to another. This is inevitable and the continuous state of affairs shows that (to be the case). Therefore all good is found in the sound religion and all evil is found in rejecting and willfully denying [Allaah, His Messengers, His Laws, Guidance, Commands, Prohibitions etc]. (2)

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

How Important is Current Affairs and Who Interprets Events For You?

[Guidance From Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen and Al-Allaamah Rabee]

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Some people say, ‘The one who does not understand the knowledge of current affairs is not a scholar’ and they forget that indeed the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, ‘Whoever Allaah wishes good for, He grants him understanding of the religion’. Then they become heedless of an existing reality, which is that busying oneself with the knowledge of current affairs diverts a person from (seeking) understanding of the religion; rather it may preoccupy (and divert) him from correct worship, and that is to worship Allaah alone, devoting one’s heart to Allaah, pondering upon Allaah’s universal signs [i.e. the things He has created] and Allaah’s divine revelation. In reality, preoccupying the youth with the Knowledge of current affairs prevents them from (seeking) understanding of Allaah’s Religion, because the heart is a vessel and it does not take another thing when it is filled with something else; therefore, it is not possible to fill it with this and that.

Busying oneself with the understanding of the Religion, fulfilling acts of worship and pure Islamic Monotheism and sincerity is better for him [i.e. a person] than looking into the knowledge of current affairs and regarding what such and such person is about. It maybe that one acquires knowledge of current affairs through weak and fabricated narrations via the media, or he bases knowledge of current affairs on the analysis and speculations of a person. The person who is engaged in the subject matter of current affairs may seek to establish an analysis that is far from what the current affairs (shows in reality), or he looks into affairs that have been concocted for him by the enemies (regarding) a particular (expected) event; but then this event happens to be something else and does not exist at all, so all those plans come to nothing. Therefore, what is of important is that one acquires understanding of what Islam requires of a person. The understanding related to ones self (necessitates) rectification of heart by way of sound belief and to wish good for the Muslims, and this is (also) related to understanding of halaal, haraam and other affairs of a similar nature. A person must acquaint himself with knowledge of current affairs if he is in need of it; but as for giving it complete importance in relation to affairs (or events) that have not occurred in reality, such as lies, deception, analysis and speculation, this has no (sound) basis”. (1)

Returning to Those Who Are Truly Able to Analyse And Repel The Plots of The Disbelievers

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah preserve him] stated: So it is not permissible for the Ulamaa to remain heedless of their plans (i.e. the enemies of Islaam), their actions, their publications, their missionary activities and their various calls (to the Muslims). And also the various poisons they are infusing – which are in opposition to the Qur’aan and the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) and his Sunnah. And nor of what plans they have for (the destruction of) the beliefs and methodologies of Islaam. It is not permissible either, to remain heedless of their concentrated efforts to Christianize or secularize the Muslim youth. And along with that, the Muslim youth and the students are not able to oppose this plan and strategy. Rather it is necessary that the distinguished Ulamaa – those who are experienced and shrewd – it is for such people, in all the places to undertake this duty. So it is obligatory for some of the intelligent and ingenious people from the field of ‘Aqeedah to be mobilised for opposing these plans. And likewise it is a must that the intelligent and distinguished from amongst the specialists in the Sunnah – that they be mobilised for the refutation of these and similarly the eminent and distinguished from amongst those in the fields of Orientalism for the refutation of the plans of the Orientalists.” (Ahl ul-Hadeeth, p.102) (2)

He also says: “I myself believe that it is a benefit – rather it is of necessity – that we know what the enemies are planning for us, and that it is necessary for us to prepare (ourselves in strength) to destroy their plans. However, I do not exaggerate in this matter, rather my view is the view of our Ulamaa and they have all agreed upon this – that amongst the obligatory matters there are some that are Fard Ain and others that are Fard Kifaayah – and even if knowing the state of the enemies is harmful – it is still necessary for us to know it – but it is treated as Fard Kifaayah. When some attend to it, then the harm is removed from the rest” up until he said: “So I consider that there is no criticism for the Ulamaa and the students of knowledge who take great concern for preserving the Sharee’ah of Allaah – in terms of the Book, the Sunnah and its understanding – for this is one of the duties of the Kifaayah actions. And I believe that these people are more superior, noble, truthful and of more benefit to Islaam than those who are weak in their knowledge of the religion of Allaah or those who have no share in acquainting themselves with it.” (3)

Therefore, just as we do not endorse the exaggerations of the Takfeeris and political activists in the Muslim lands – those who spread propaganda to excite the people, call to protests and regime change, likewise we do not rush to endorse any official or mainstream media narrative West; rather we return to the reliable investigators amongst the senior people of knowledge- those elders who are well known for their sound knowledge in both religious and worldly affairs, known for their fear of Allaah, honesty and adherence to the senior scholars of the Ummah. An example of their work can be found here: permanent_committee

As for mainstream media, their deceptions have been documented and exposed. This book – titled ‘The Fake New Factory’ – gives a good account of their deceptions.

War and Making Preparations For It When Necessary

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Indeed We have sent Our Messengers with clear proofs, and revealed with them the Scripture and the Balance (justice) that mankind may keep up justice. And We brought forth iron wherein is mighty power (in matters of war), as well as many benefits for mankind, that Allah may test who it is that will help Him (His religion), and His Messengers in the unseen. Verily, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty. [Surah Al-Hadeed. Verse 25]

Imaam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: Allah [The Most High] informs us that He sent the Messengers to guide the creation [i.e. humankind and Jinn] and supported them with clear proofs that clearly manifest the realities – demonstrated the truthfulness of the Messengers and the reality of that which they brought. He revealed the Scripture to them wherein there is guidance and mercy- revealed to them the Balance, which is justice by way of which justice, its foundation and subsidiary branches are known, and so that humankind may keep up justice when they act upon it in their beliefs, manners, deeds, behaviour and in all their affairs. Therefore, all their affairs and circumstances will be established upon righteousness and steadfastness when they act upon that which Allāh revealed in the Scripture and the Balance.

And Allāh [The Most High] informs us that He sent down iron wherein there is mighty power (in matters of war) as well as many benefits for humankind – specifically mentioned its benefits in matters of war and then generalized it in all other matters. Allāh sent down iron for the (purpose) of these beneficial, indispensable matters and affairs that bring about perfection – in specific and in general. All things – except a few – are in need of iron. Indeed, Allāh mentioned it in the context of the favours He has bestowed on the servants, and this necessitates that these benefits are extracted through every way- necessitates education in military expertise and affairs of war, manufacture of weapons and its accessories, maritime transport, land transportation, aircrafts and other things that benefit the servants in their religious and worldly affairs, just as Allāh [The Most High] said:

[ وَأ عدوا لهم ما استطعتم من قوة ومن رباط الخيل ترهبون به عدو هللا وعدوكم- And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war (tanks, planes, missiles, artillery, etc.) to threaten the enemy of Allah and your enemy]. [Surah Al-Anfaal. Aayah 60]

Allāh said: [حذركم وخذوا – Take every precaution for yourselves]. [Surah An-Nisaa 102]

This addresses the affair of preparing all that is possible of power – mentally, politically, materially and religiously, and taking every precaution against the enemies through every means and way. All the small crafts and big ones, the inventions and defense [fortifications] are included in this generality. (1)

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

[وَلَوۡلَا دَفۡعُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلنَّاسَ بَعۡضَهُم بِبَعۡضٍ۬ لَّفَسَدَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَلَـٰڪِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ذُو فَضۡلٍ عَلَى ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ – And if Allah did not check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief. But Allah is full of Bounty to the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)]. [Surah Al-Baqarah. Aayah 251]

There is no doubt that sometimes war is necessary in order to repel obstinate aggressors; but in our era many ideologues, demagogues, secularists and globalists either initiate wars or proxy wars for nothing else but greed. Neither do they turn their eyes away from the wealth of other nations nor refrain from exploitation regardless whether they have covenants or not; rather their greed does not cease until they either initiate internal strife within a nation or fabricate an excuse to invade, plunder and oppress. The leaders – ideologues, demagogues, neoconservatives and their ilk  – of some nations are well known for organising false flag operations to destablise other nations and initiate regime change when their immoral demands are rejected. Sometimes they fabricate evidence and claim that their opponent is stockpiling weapons of mass destruction, and then they justify -with the help of treacherous devils in the mainstream media – invasions to loot natural resources. Their greatest concern and goal is wealth and the temporary life of this world, so they do not take heed. Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Indeed, Allāh will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. But those who disbelieve enjoy themselves (in this world) and eat as the cattle eat (concerned only with food, pleasure and pastime without any consideration for the Hereafter), and the Fire will be an abode for them. [Surah Muhammad. Aayah 12]

And with regards strict adherence to the rules of war as legislated by the Creator, they are foremost in violating them; rather they do not even adhere to their so called Geneva Convention, because they are one of the foremost flag bearers of brutality and oppression – past and present . (see footnote b)

Indeed, the globalists and their armies, the militant vile Nazis and vile Takfeeris are transgressors. Their acts of brutality and transgression in the battlefield is well known. Allaah [The Exalted] said:

[وَقَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ – Fight—in the path of Allāh—those who fight against you but do not transgress the limits (by killing non-combatants). Indeed, Allāh loves not the transgressors]. [Surah Al-Baqarah. Aayah 190]

Ibn Abbas [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] stated regarding this Aayah, “Do not kill women, children, old men, or anyone who approaches you for peace and refrains from fighting, because if you do so then you have transgressed without a doubt”. (2) Indeed, this was not their behaviour when they dropped their atomic bomb in 1945, so their behaviour is not a war stratagem, but rather it is tantamount to brutality and oppression. It is not what is understood from the statement of the noble Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] when he stated, “War is a stratagem (or deceit)”. (3)

Imaam At-Tabari [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “To give a wrong impression – during war – through Mu’aaradah [i.e. making one’s statements or actions obscure (ambiguous) to mislead the opponent about one’s real plans] is allowed”. (4)

Ibnul Arabi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Stratagem during war occurs by way of concealment and giving a wrong impression (to the opponent)”. (5)

The scholars unanimously agree that it is permissible to deceive the disbelievers [i.e. when two armies are engaged in war], but this is not permissible if it violates a covenant or an agreement that was made for a guarantee of safety. (6)

Indeed, what clearly demonstrates an example of the manner in which this stratagem is employed is the hadeeth reported by Ka’b Bin Maalik [may Allaah be pleased with him] who said, “When the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] intended to go on an expedition (against a people with whom there is no treaty and war was declared), he always pretended to be going somewhere else, and he would say, ‘War is stratagem (or deceit)'”. (7)

This was also the manner in which the companions dealt with their adversaries. Abul Fayd [may Allaah have mercy upon him] narrated that Sulaym Ibn Amir [may Allaah have mercy upon him] reported that there was a peace treaty between Mu’aawiyah [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] and the Byzantines. He was marching towards their country and when the covenant came to an end, he would attack them. A man came on a horse, saying, “Allah is Most Great! Allah is Most Great! Let there be fulfilment and not treachery!” Mu’aawiyah sent for him and questioned him about that. He said, “I heard Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] say, “When one has a covenant with people he must not strengthen or loosen it until its term comes to an end or he brings it to an end in agreement with them”. He said, “So Mu’aawiyah returned with the people”. (8)

Also in our era we witness the treachery of some of the globalist regimes, Nazi, Takfeeri and Jihaadist groups, and other transgressors. Some of them transgress against civilians in the name of collateral damage, some transgress against civilians when pursuing their satanic false flag operations (see footnote b), and some – after provoking a more powerful opponent and allying with others who use them for a proxy war- fail to distinguish themselves from civilians, operate among the civilian population, use them as human shields or even engage in activities that cause civilian casualties that can be blamed on the opponent. This is not a war stratagem, rather it is treachery, oppression, brutality and murder. Abdulllah Ibn Umar [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] reported that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “When Allah gathers the earlier and later generations on the Day of Resurrection, He will raise a banner for every treacherous person and it will be announced that this is the treachery of this person, the son of this person” (9) The people said to Jundub [may Allaah be pleased with him], “Advise us”. He said, “The first thing of the human body to putrefy is the abdomen, so he who can eat nothing but good food (halaal and earned lawfully) should do so, and he who does as much as he can that nothing intervenes between him and paradise by not shedding even a handful of blood [i.e. unlawful killing], should do so”. (10)

Therefore, neither lend an ear nor rush to make a judgement when the mainstream media start pointing a finger at any group during a conflict, because the globalists, Nazis and Takfeeris are all well known for committing atrocities during war and hasten to point a finger at each other; then the group that has greater access to the mainstream media easily controls public opinion, propagate either a false or ambiguous narrative and portray their adversaries as the guilty party without thorough investigation. This necessitates that the sensible person should never rush to make a judgement merely based on an official narrative or mainstream media analysis. Listen here: https://youtu.be/kfHohl6gCJY

We ask Allaah to protect us from the satanic path of all these groups, guide or deal with them in any manner He pleases. And may Allaah expose all the liars in the mainstream media Aameen.

And just recently we’ve all witnessed the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, which even many of their journalists referred to as “an act of military aggression launched on a false pretext!” There’s no need to give details regarding the suffering and lives lost because that is well documented, rather the torture at Abu Ghuraib prison is enough.

Footnote c: What is a false flag? A false flag is a political or military action carried out with the intention of blaming an opponent for it. Nations have often done this by staging a real or simulated attack on their own side and saying the enemy did it, as a pretext for going to war. The term was first used in the 16th Century to describe how pirates flew the flag of a friendly nation to deceive merchant ships into allowing them to draw near.

One of The Most Destructive Judgements of Some French Demagogues On Freedom of Speech!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

One of The Most Destructive Judgements of Some French Demagogues On Freedom of Speech – Object When Government Officials Are Insulted, But Give Room to Those Who Insult The Creator’s Most Noble Prophet and Messenger

Abdullah Bin Amr [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Whoever would love to be delivered from hellfire and admitted into paradise, let him meet his end whilst believing in Allaah and the Last Day, and let him treat people as he would love to be treated”. (1)

Imaam An-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This is from the Jawaami al-Kalim of the Prophet [i.e. precise speech with a comprehensive meaning] and his amazing wisdom. It is obligatory to pay close attention to this important principle and that a person must not deal with the people except in a way he loves to be dealt with”. (2)

Al-Allaamah Zayd Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “The one who loves that the people should approach him with good that is related to the worldly affairs and affairs related to the Afterlife, then it is obligated on him to do the same for them”. (3)

This is what the people of Islam have been commanded that they treat others in a manner that they would love to be treated – neither based on the desires nor false claims of the French globalists, militant secularists, demagogues and ideologues. Indeed, not only do these flag bearers of double standards advocate a corrupt freedom of speech that leads them to slander and mock at the most noble human being Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], but they also do not adhere to what they proclaim to the world. We all can clearly recall that the president of France stated that those who insulted and mocked at the Prophet were guaranteed that right under the laws of France, but he himself strongly objected when his wife was insulted and mocked. Read below as follows:

Also recently, March 25- Russia’s ambassador to France was summoned to the French Foreign Ministry over an earlier embassy Twitter post that Paris deemed unacceptable, the foreign ministry said. The Russian Embassy in Paris on Thursday had posted a picture depicting a body lying on a table called “Europe” with characters representing the United States and European Union jabbing needles into it. “We made that clear today to the Russian Ambassador,” the ministry said in a statement sent to Reuters. “We are trying to maintain a demanding channel of dialogue with Russia and these actions are completely inappropriate.” Speaking to reporters in Brussels, President Emmanuel Macron dismissed the cartoons as false propaganda. “It’s unacceptable. We believe in a respectful dialogue and will continue it and that means respect on all sides. It’s a mistake. It’s been corrected and I hope it won’t happen again. We demanded it.” France’s European Affairs Minister Clement Beaune had slammed the cartoon post on Thursday calling it “a disgrace” in response to the drawing which had been posted earlier in the afternoon by the Twitter account of the Russia Embassy in France (@AmbRusFrance). The picture has since been removed from the embassy’s feed. The drawing implied that the European continent was being destroyed by policies undertaken by the United States and the EU. The needles, seen being jabbed into the body illustrating Europe, contained words such as “NATO”, “COVID-19”, “Cancel Culture” and “Sanctions”.

Amazing indeed that these were the same people who proclaimed to the world that they defend freedom of speech even when that led to disbelief in the Creator and the Messenger, but one can see their objections when those who are not equal to the finger nail of a Prophet are vilified and mocked. Indeed, the scale by way of which they judge right and wrong is based on nothing else but guessing and desires. Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Have you seen him who takes his own lust (vain desires) as his ilah (god), and Allah knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight. Who then will guide him after Allah? Will you not then remember? [Surah Al-Jaathiyah. Aayah 23]

Allaah [The Exalted] said: [إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهۡوَى ٱلۡأَنفُسُ‌ۖ – They follow but a guess and that which they themselves desire].

There is a tremendous benefit derived from this because the one deprived of sound faith and sound creed sent down as revelation by Allaah- The Lord of all that exists, then his affair is one of two: corrupt knowledge or corrupt Intent. Corrupt knowledge occurs as a result of following conjecture and corrupt intent occurs as a result of following desires, or the person may combine both of them. Another benefit derived from this is that the rectification or well-being of a person cannot be attained except by way of two affairs: upright knowledge and upright intent. This is why Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated in Miftaah Daarus Sa’aadah that a person is in need of two things: sound knowledge by way of which he is (rightly) guided and lofty aspiration by way of which he is urged towards that (sound aspiration), because it maybe that a person has beneficial knowledge but not (sound) intent and aspiration; therefore, one cannot be upright except by way of upright knowledge and intent. Sound knowledge is corrupted through following conjecture and sound intent is corrupted through following the desires of one’s soul. (4)

One can clearly see that after abandoning what the Creator has legislated regarding freedom of speech, they have no other path to follow but the one that leads to harm, so they defend those who attack the most noble Prophet of Allaah and thus increase in disbelief, but defend those who are not equal and can never be equal to a Prophet in the twinkling of an eye. Imaam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: “Whoever abandons what is beneficial will be put to trial with what is harmful! This is found in a number of Aayaat that when the polytheists shunned the worship of Ar-Rahmaan (Allaah), they were put to test with the worship of images. And when they displayed haughtiness and claimed that the Messengers were only humans (i.e. therefore they will not follow them), they were put to test with submission to everything that made (their) intellect and Religion unstable. And when faith was clearly shown to them (i.e. the disbelieving nations) at the first instance and they recognized it, but then turned away from it, Allaah (Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections) averted, afflicted and sealed their hearts. So, they did not believe until they perceived the painful punishment. And after the straight path was clarified for them, but they deviated from it by choice and approved the path of deviation in opposition to the path of guidance, they were punished- Allaah deviated their hearts and caused them to be confounded in their path (of misguidance)”. (5)

This is expected of a people who are intoxicated with love of leadership in this temporary worldly life at the expense of the everlasting Afterlife, as Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated about the haughty seekers of leadership that they love to exalt themselves and hasten towards the fulfilment of desires. Its seekers hasten to obtain it in order to achieve their goals- exaltedness in the earth, enslavement of the hearts to them, attachment to them and aiding them in all their goals, whilst they are exalted and everyone subservient to them. This pursuit of leadership brings about corruption, which none can enumerate except Allaah, such as rebellion, envy, transgression, enmity, oppression, trials, being ardent in defending oneself at the expense of violating the rights of Allaah, exalting those despised by Allaah and belittling those honoured by Allaah. (6)

So, you will not be able to truly give the word hypocrisy its due right until after witnessing the behaviour of some of the French globalists, militant secularists, demagogues, ideologues and their ilk in the mainstream media. We ask Allaah to guide them to the path of the final Messenger or protect us from their destructive path Aameen. Finally, we are free from both the militant secularists and the terrorists of ISIS, Al-Qaeda and their ilk. Read here:

“If I Had One Supplication to Be Answered, I Will Not Make It For None But The Ruler”

“If I Had One Supplication to Be Answered, I Will Not Make It For None But The Ruler” – Rebuke Against Opportunists, Ignoramuses and Hypocrites Who Protest When Muslim Rulers Unveil Plots of Globalists and Safeguard Wellbeing of Their Citizens

Imaam Adh-Dhahabi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] reported that Imaam Fudayl Ibn Iyaadh [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “If I had one supplication to be answered, I will not make it for none but the ruler, because if the ruler is righteous, it will lead to the righteousness of the country and the people”. [Siyar A’laam An-Nubalaa 8/434]

Those Who Break Their Covenants, Plot and Threaten Muslim Leaders

Imaam Ibn Qutaybah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “It used to be said that whoever perpetrates these three acts will be haunted by them- rebellion against Allaah’s commandments: Allaah [The Most High] said: [يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا بَغْيُكُمْ عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِكُمْ – O mankind! Your rebellion (disobedience to Allah) is only against your ownselves]. (a) Evil plotting: Allaah [The Most High] said: [وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ – But the evil plot encompasses only him who makes it].(b) Breaking pledges: Allaah [The Most High] said: [فَمَنْ نَكَثَ فَإِنَّمَا يَنْكُثُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ – Then whosoever breaks his pledge only breaks it to his own harm].(c) (1)

Have you not seen those globalists (d) who treacherously broke their covenants, threatened some Muslim countries and demanded that they are aided to encircle a country that is partly in eastern Europe and partly in northern Asia, and bordering the Arctic Ocean in the north; and intending to encircle such a country from the Baltic region, descending from Eastern Europe to the western Black Sea coast, and from there along the Black Sea through to the Caucasus, and assuming that this would reach countries located in Central Asia and bordered by the Caspian Sea?! The treacherous globalists also – after breaking their covenants – planned to encircle an east Asian country in a wide arc descending into Central Asia, Pakistan, India and the Indian Ocean, and from there extending into Japan! However, their sinister plan to exploit and involve some Muslim countries in this harmful pursuit was unveiled. How amazing that some people who ascribe to Islam are disappointed that Muslim rulers have refused to aid “The Globalist Worshippers of Dunyah” in their treacherous pursuit for power and control!

Indeed, unveiling the plots of the internal and external conspirators is something the ruler must pursue, as Al-Allaamah Zayd Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “And from the perfection of a person’s Islam is to leave that which does not concern him; however, there is an exception to this prohibition such as when a person listens into the speech of those who are focused or (involved) in seeking to breach the state of safety and security of the Muslims”. (2) “It is incumbent upon a ruler to have a person who unveils to him the circumstances of the people in private, and this person should be trustworthy, reliable, smart and sensible, because calamity befalls a reliable ruler due to accepting speech of one who is not trustworthy”. (3)

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee [may Allaah preserve him] says: So it is not permissible for the scholars to remain heedless of their plans (i.e. the enemies of Islaam), their actions, their publications, their missionary activities and their various calls (to the Muslims). And also the various poisons they are infusing – which are in opposition to the Qur’aan ’ and the Messenger (peace abd blessings of Allaah be upon him] and his Sunnah. So it is obligatory for some of the intelligent and ingenious people from the field of Aqeedah [sound belief] to be mobilized for opposing these plans. And likewise it is a must that the intelligent and distinguished from amongst the specialists in the Sunnah – that they be mobilized for the refutation of these and similarly the eminent and distinguished from amongst those in the fields of Orientalism for the refutation of the plans of the Orientalists.” (Ahl ulHadeeth, p.102)

The Shaikh also says: “I myself believe that it is a benefit – rather it is of necessity – that we know what the enemies are planning for us, and that it is necessary for us to prepare (ourselves in strength) to destroy their plans. However, I do not exaggerate in this matter, rather my view is the view of our scholars and they have all agreed upon this – that amongst the obligatory matters there are some that are Fard Ain [i.e. an individual obligation] and others that are Fard Kifaayah [i.e. communal obligation] – and even if knowing the state of the enemies is harmful – it is still necessary for us to know it – but it is treated as Fard Kifaayah. And I believe that these people are more superior, noble, truthful and of more benefit to Islaam than those who are weak in their knowledge of the religion of Allaah or those who have no share in acquainting themselves with it.” [An excerpt from an article at http://www.salafipublications.com titled: The Salafis and Looking into the Affairs of the Ummah]

Abu Hurairah [may Allaah be pleased with him] said, “The Prophet peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, ‘Verily, the leader is a shield behind whom they fight and he protects them. If he commands (people to) fear Allaah [The Exalted] and justice, then he will have a reward. If he commands something else, then it will be against him’”. [Ṣaḥeeh Muslim 1841]

Regarding the Prophet’s [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] statement, “The leader is a shield”, Imaam An-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, ‘Meaning, he is like a shelter because he prevents the enemy from harming the Muslims, prevent the people from (harming) one another (i.e. establish justice), protects the Muslim nation and the people fear his authority (i.e. because he will establish justice against the oppressor). And the meaning of the Prophet’s [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] statement, ‘Behind whom they fight’, meaning, alongside him they fight against the disbelievers (i.e. those at war with his country), the rebels, the khaarijites and all the perpetrators of corruption and oppression’”. (4)

May Allaah protect the Muslim rulers and the Muslim lands from the corruption of the globalists, and strengthen in particular prime minsiter Imran Khan [may Allaah protect him] Aameen.

Based On Which Infallible Divine Principle Should I Hate The Ones You Hate, Agree With Your Act of Vandalism and Take Your Side In a Dispute Unconditionally?!

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Based On Which Infallible Divine Principle Should I Hate The Ones You Hate, Agree With Your Act of Vandalism and Take Your Side In a Dispute Unconditionally?! No Oppression Should Be Tolerated Against Russian Neighbours, Colleagues and Pupils

A Principle Regarding Love, Hate and Allegiance

Allaah [The Exalted] said:

You (O Muhammad ) will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad ), even though they were their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred (people). For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with Ruh (proofs, light and true guidance) from Himself. And We will admit them to Gardens (Paradise) under which rivers flow, to dwell therein (forever). Allah is pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Verily, it is the Party of Allah that will be the successful. [Surah Al-Mujaadilah. Aayah 22]

The precise principle regarding this loyalty and allegiance is when a person loves and supports the religion of the disbelievers and their creed. Whoever loves a disbeliever due to his religion or creed, or helps a disbeliever due to his religion or creed, then indeed he has fallen into this type of (forbidden) loyalty and allegiance that would nullify his Islaam. (see footnote a)

However, a Muslim can help a disbeliever without intending to aid the disbeliever’s religion or creed. Prophet Musa [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] helped the disbeliever who was from his nation against a person from the people of Firawn. Allaah [The Exalted] said:

And he entered the city at a time of unawareness of its people, and he found there two men fighting, – one of his party (his religion – from the Children of Israel), and the other of his foes. The man of his (own) party asked him for help against his foe, so Musa (Moses) struck him with his fist and killed him. He said: “This is of Shaitan‘s (Satan) doing, verily, he is a plain misleading enemy.” [Surah Al-Qasas. Aayah 15]

The second type of loyalty is related to dealing with them in trade, visiting them and they visit you, giving gifts to one another etc This does not remove a person from the fold of Islam, rather at times it is permissible, such as being kind to a disbeliever who is not at war with the Muslim state, just as Allaah [The Exalted] said:

Allah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allah loves those who deal with equity. [Surah Al-Mumtahina. Aayah 8]

And at other times, this loyalty is forbidden, such as imitating their specific traits [i.e. either their Un-Islamic customs or specific clothing, appearance, behaviour related to their religion]. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Whoever imitates a people is from them”.

Sometimes this loyalty is recommended such as being kind to a disbeliever to draw his heart to Islaam and calling him to Islam, and at other times this loyalty is obligatory, such as kind treatment to non-Muslim parents. Allaah [The Exalted] said:

And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years give thanks to Me and to your parents, unto Me is the final destination. But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and in obedience. Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do. [Surah Luqmaan. Aayaat 14-15](1)

I Decide When to Aid You After Being Well Acquainted With The Basis, The True Reasons and Historical Facts Behind The Dispute Between You and Your Opponent – Neither An Official Narrative Nor The Mainstream Media Decides That For Me

Warning Muslim Broadcasters and Journalists About Dangerous Consequences of Twisting Truth When Interviewing, Entertaining Misguided Personalities And Spreading Fear!

After verifying news to my satisfaction, I also have to recall the statements of Allaah as follows:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [Surah An-Nisaa. Ayah 135]

Allaah [The Most High] said:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do. [Surah Al-Maa’idah. Ayah 8]

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “A person has to establish justice when dealing with his enemies and that one who deprives him of his rights; for indeed it is not permissible that hatred for his enemies leads him to be unjust towards them, just as it is not permissible (to allow) love of himself, his parents and relatives to make him abandon standing firmly for justice against them. Therefore, hatred harboured against someone should not lead him to falsehood, and love of (oneself, parents and relatives] should not make him fall short in establishing truth, just as one of the pious predecessors said, “The just person is that one who when angry, his anger does not lead him to falsehood, and when he is pleased, it does not remove him from truth”. (2)

Imaam As-Sadi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, ““O you who believe”- Meaning, O you who believe in that which your Eemaan obligates on you! Establish that which your Eemaan necessitates so that you are “Stand out firmly for Allaah and be just witnesses”- being eager and active in establishing justice in all your apparent and hidden deeds, do so for the sake of Allaah alone and not due to some worldly gool, and intend to do justice- neither going beyond bounds nor falling short in your statements and actions. Do this on behalf one who is close to you and one who is not close to you, on behalf of a friend and an enemy. And let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice, as this is what is done by the one who neither deals justly nor gives people the rights due to them; rather stand out firmly for justice – for and against your allies, just as you stand out firmly for justice for and against your enemies. (3)

Vigilantism In The Name of Enjoining Good, Forbidding Evil and Showing Solidarity

Recently, there has been reports regarding vigilantism and attacks against Russian businesses in America and some European countries in the name of solidarity with Ukraine! This vigilantism is neither condoned nor sanctioned by any government, rather it is the behaviour of those blinded by anger and rage – those who desire oppression against innocent civilians. No government allows such behaviour, but rather it is behaviour similar to that of the civilians of the Nazi occupied territories- those who agreed with Hitler’s methodology and participated in the physical abuse of Jews in Eastern Europe in the name of revenge. Therefore, it must be made absolutely clear that Islam does not allow vigilantism, as Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “People should not change with their hand anything they are not authorised to change. If they do make changes in matters that they have no authority over, this will result in more evil and great corruption between them and the people, and between the people and the state”. (4)

Secondly, even if any government were to condone oppression against a particular group in society, the Muslim does not obey such orders. Abu Hurairah [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Two are the types of the inhabitants of Hell whom I did not see: men having flogs like the tails of the ox with them and they would be beating people, and the women who would be dressed but appear to be naked, who would be inclined (to evil) and making others inclined towards evil. Their heads would be like the humps of the bukht camel inclined to one side. They will not enter Paradise and they would not smell its scent whereas its scent would be smelt from such and such distance” (see footnote b). [Saheeh Muslim. Number 2128]

Imaam an-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This hadeeth is from the miracles of Prophethood. Certainly these two types of people have appeared and they are present”. (5)

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Firstly, ‘men having flogs like the tails of the ox with them and they would be beating people’, such as the police and other than police who beat people unjustly. These people are from the people of Hell. This is a threat that calls for caution. A soldier and non-soldier must not hit people except based on a justified reason (i.e. a justified Sharee’ah reason)”. (6)

“Anyone who takes on the responsibility to beat people unjustly is included in this hadith, whether it is by the order of the state or without the order of the state, because indeed the state is to be obeyed only in good. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Indeed, obedience is only in that which is good. There is no obedience to the creation in disobedience to the Creator”. (7)

Therefore, reject evil and oppression whether the mainstream media does so or not. No Russian neighbour, colleague or pupil is to be intimidated or harassed by anyone. We have some Russian pupils in our schools and they must be protected from abuse. May Allaah bring about a quick solution between the Russians and Ukrainians because no sane person wishes to prolong conflict, rather that is the agenda of the spiteful globalists, neocolonialists and war profiteers – those who initiate proxy wars to pursue their geopolitical agendas and then utilise the deceivers in the mainstream media to help them brainwash the sheep. May Allaah protect us from their plots Aameen.

Footnote b: Regarding the statement “They will not enter Paradise, nor smell its fragrance, even though it can be found from a distance of five hundred years of travel”. Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “The sinners [i.e. those who die whilst committing sins lesser than Shirk] are under the will of Allaah- if Allaah wishes, He will either punish or forgive them straight away, or He enters them into hell for some time and paradise thereafter, just as Allaah said: [إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَغۡفِرُ أَن يُشۡرَكَ بِهِۦ وَيَغۡفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٲلِكَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ‌ۚ – Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases]. Few of Those Infallible Divine Texts That Guarantee Universal Security In The Land and Repels Political Strife Initiated By Internal Stooges of The Globalists

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Few Examples of Those Infallible Divine Texts That Guarantee Universal Security In The Land, Especially During Hardship, and Repels Political Strife Initiated By Internal Stooges of Those Globalists and Foreign Conspirators Whose Country is Bordered On The West By The Pacific Ocean and to The East By The Atlantic Ocean

The Great Responsibility of The Position of Leadership

Abu Dharr [may Allaah be pleased with him] said, “I said to the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], ‘Will you not appoint me to a public office?’ He stroked my shoulder with his hand and said, ‘Abu Dharr! You ae weak and authority is a trust, and on the Day of judgment it is a cause of humiliation, and repentance except for one who fulfils its obligations and (properly) discharges the duties attendant thereon'”. [Saheeh Muslim 1825]

Imaam An-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This hadeeth is a great principle with regards to avoiding leadership, especially for the one who lacks power to fulfil the tasks of that leadership. Disgrace and regret (afflicts) the one who is not worthy of leadership or he is worthy but not just, so Allaah [The Exalted] disgraces and exposes him on the day of resurrection, and he regrets his shortcomings. As for the one who is worthy of leadership and he is just, he has great virtue such as what is mentioned in the hadeeth regarding the seven who will be shaded on the day of judgment”. [Sharh Saheeh Muslim. Vol 12. Page 177. slightly paraphrased]

Abdur Rahmaan Bin Shumasa [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “I came to A’isha [may Allaah be pleased with her] to inquire something from her. She said, ‘From which people are you?’ I said, ‘I am from the people of Egypt’. She said, ‘What was the behaviour of your governor towards you in this war of yours?’ I said, ‘We did not experience anything bad from him. If the camel of a man from us died, he would bestow on him a camel. If any one of us lost his slave, he would give him a slave. If anybody was in need of the basic necessities of life, he would provide them with provisions’. She said, ‘Behold! the treatment that was meted out to my brother, Muhammad Bin Abu Bakr, does not prevent me from telling you what I heard from Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of allaah be upon him]. He said in this house of mine, ‘O Allaah! Whoever (happens to) acquire some kind of control over the affairs of my people and is hard upon them, be hard upon him, and who (happens to) acquire some kind of control over the affairs of my people and is kind to them, be kind to him”. [Saheeh Muslim 1828a]

Regarding the statement of the Prophet: “O Allaah! Whoever (happens to) acquire some kind of control over the affairs of my people and is hard upon them, be hard upon him, and who (happens to) acquire some kind of control over the affairs of my people and is kind to them, be kind to him”, Imaam An-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This is one of the strongest rebukes against bringing about hardship upon the people and the greatest urge towards being kind to them”. [Sharh Saheeh Muslim Vol 12. Page 179-180. slightly paraphrased]

Abu Hurairah [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported: “One day Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] stood among us (to deliver a sermon). He talked about the misappropriation of booty, and declared it to be a serious matter and a grave sin. Then he said, ‘I shouldn’t find that any of you should come on the Day of Judgment with a growling camel mounted on his neck, and should appeal to me for help saying, ‘Messenger of Allah, help me’ and I should say, ‘I cannot avail you against Allaah at all; I already communicated to you’. I shouldn’t find that any of you should come on the Day of Judgment with a bleating ewe mounted on his neck, and he should say to me, ‘Messenger of Allah, help me’ and I should say, ‘I cannot avail you against Allaah at all; I conveyed to you’. I shouldn’t find that one of you should come on the Day of Judgment with a person crying loudly mounted on his neck, and he should say to me, ‘Messenger of Allah, help me’, and I should say, ‘I cannot avail you against Allaah at all; I conveyed to you’. I shouldn’t find that any one of you should come on the Day of Judgment with fluttering clothes wrapped round his neck and he should say to me, ‘Messenger of Allah, help me’, and I should say, ‘I cannot avail you against Allaah at all; I conveyed to you’. I shouldn’t find that any of you should come on the Day of Judgment with a heap of gold and silver placed on his neck and he should say to me, ‘Messenger of Allah, help me’, and I should say, ‘I cannot avail you against Allaah at all; I already conveyed to you (the warning from the Almighty)'”. [saheeh Muslim 1831a]

Regarding the statement of the Prophet, “I cannot avail you against Allah at all”, Imaam An-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated that Al-Qaadhee [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said that this means “(Cannot avail you against Allaah) with regards to forgiveness and intercession, except by the will of Allaah [The Exalted]”. This statement of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] is (a manifestation of) anger towards this person – at first – due to his wrong deed, then thereafter the Prophet will intercede for all the Muwahhideen [i.e. those who died upon the creed of pure Islamic monotheism]…[Sharh Saheeh Muslim. Vol 12. Page 182. slightly paraphrased]

Adee Bin Amirah Al-Kindi [may Allaah be pleased with him] said, “I heard Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] say, ‘ Whosoever from you is appointed by us to a position of authority and he conceals from us a needle or something smaller than that, it would be misappropriation (of public funds) and will (have to) produce it on the Day of Judgment’. The narrator says: A dark-complexioned man from the Ansar stood up – I can visualise him still – and said, ‘O Allaah’s Messenger! Take back from me your assignment’. He said, ‘What has happened to you?’ The man said, ‘I have heard you say so and so’. He said, ‘I say that (even) now: Whosoever from you is appointed by us to a position of authority, he should bring everything, big or small, and whatever he is given therefrom he should take, and he should restrain himself from taking that which is forbidden'”. [Saheeh Muslim 1833a]

The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Any man whom Allaah has given authority to look after the affairs of a people and he dies whilst not looking after them [in the manner obligated by Allaah and His Messenger], he will not smell the scent of paradise”. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari’ Number 7150]

Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This does not (only) refer to the Muslim ruler, his assistant or a minister, or the elders of a people; rather it applies even to a man in his house. If he dies and did not look after his family (in the manner obligated by Allaah and His Messenger), then indeed Allaah will prevent him from smelling the scent of paradise. And those who give their families games (or means of amusement) that corrupt manners and destroy (sound) belief, then there is no doubt that they have not looked after their families (in the manner obligated by Allaah and His Messenger in this affair). And if they die whilst being upon this state, it is feared that Allaah will prevent them from smelling the scent of paradise. [At-taleeq Alas Siyaasatish Shar’iyyah. page 35]

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “The sinners [i.e. those who die whilst committing sins lesser than shirk] are under the will of Allaah- if Allaah wishes, He will either punish them or forgive them straight away, or He enters them into hell for some time and paradise thereafter, just as Allaah said: [إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَغۡفِرُ أَن يُشۡرَكَ بِهِۦ وَيَغۡفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٲلِكَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ‌-Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases. [Surah An-Nisaa’ Aayah 48] https://www.binbaz.org.sa/noor/2527

Obedience to The Rulers In Good and Not to Rebel Even When They Are Oppressive

Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “Indeed, you will see Atharatan after me and affairs you’ll disapprove; they [i.e. the people] said, ‘What do you command us O Allaah’s Messenger?’ He said, ‘Fulfil their rights [i.e. the rulers] and ask Allaah for your rights'”.

Atharatan: meaning- [some people will give precedence to themselves (i.e. spend wealth on themselves and engage in worldly enjoyment, but will not give others their rightful share)].

Al-Allaamah Zaid Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: This authentic hadeeth is related to the affair of the rulers- during the end of time – when they will give precedence to themselves through enjoyment of the worldly things and those under their authority will face harm, something of oppression and tyranny; so the Prophet [peace and bllessings of Allaah be upon him] guided and directed the people to fulfil the rights of the rulers; obey and listen to them in that which is good- whether it is during a time in which one is enthusiastic [to listen and obey them in what is good] or feeling laxadaisical- perform Jihaad behind their banner against the enemies of the religion, establish the prayer and behave in a manner obligated by the Islamic legislation. They should not rebel against the ruler just because he is a sinner or an oppressor, nor refrain from giving him the rights obligated on them to give him; rather they should fulfil his rights just as the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] commanded them, saying, “Fulfil their rights”.

Therefore, the ruler has rights that should be fulfilled by his subjects and the subjects also have rights to be fulfilled by the ruler. It is obligated on the ruler to fulfil their rights and it is obligated on them to fulfil his rights. However, if he [i.e. the ruler] falls short in something related to their rights, it is not permissible for them to [deliberately] fall short in fulfilling his rights. And due to the great importance of rulership and the rulers, indeed the Prophet commanded them to fulfil the obligation of As-sam’i Wat-taa’ah [i.e. to listen and obey the ruler in good], refrain from disobedience[when commanded to do something good], supplicate to Allaah to make their affairs easy and change their state of affairs to that which is good, aid them to fulfil their needs and those affairs they cannot do without.

This hadeeth contains a miracle of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] and that is the fact that he clearly stated that during the end of time, the rulers will give precedence to themselves with something of wealth and worldly enjoyment, and others will be deprived of it. Also, there will be affairs which the people of sound judgement will reject. [So], when this era comes, it is obligated on them – those under the rulership of a Muslim ruler – to listen and obey in that which is good, fulfil the rights that have been obligated on them to fulfil and seek their rights from Allaah – meaning: they supplicate to Allaah to aid them in fulfilling their needs and facilitate them with ease in their affairs. And Allaah knows best. [At-taleeqaatul Maleehah Alaa Silsilah Al-Ahaadeeth As-Saheehah. Vol 1. Page 142. slightly paraphrased]

Believer’s Bahaviour Towards Muslim Rulers:

Believer’s Bahaviour Towards Muslim Rulers – [Supplicates For Them….]

Strength and Security is Achieved Behind The Ruler

[Sharh Saheeh Muslim Vol 12. page 193. Publisher: Daar Al-Kutub al-Ilmiyyah. 1st Edition 1421 AH (2000)]

Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] stated, “Towards the end of the Messenger’s life, he admonished the people as occurs in the hadeeth of Irbaad Ibn Saariyah [may Allaah be pleased with him] who said, ‘The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] led us in prayer one day, then turned his face towards us and delivered a powerful admonition that made our hearts fearful and our eyes tearful. So, a man said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah! It is as if it were a farewell admonition, so what do you enjoin upon us?’ He said, ‘I advise you to fear Allaah and to listen and obey even if a slave is a leader over you. Verily, the one who lives among you after me will see a lot of differences, so adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided khulafaa- adhere to it and bite onto that with your molar teeth (i.e. adhere to it firmly), and avoid the newly invented matters in the religion, because indeed every newly invented matter in the religion is an innovation in religion and every innovation in religion is misguidance'”.

In this command, the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] commanded us to fear Allaah. [At-Taqwah (Fear of Allaah)] is a comprehensive word that covers all good qualities. And the meaning of Taqwah is a ‘means of protection between yourself and what you fear will harm you’. It is what shields you from danger, such as (something used) as a means of protection between your foot and the excessive heat on the ground, or (something) placed as a means of protection between you and an injurious thing, or a shield placed as means of protection between you and a weapon, or )something) placed as a means of protection between you and the cold or the heat. This (i.e. above examples) are related to tangible things.

As for Taqwah (in the divine revelation it means) to protect yourself from the Anger of Allaah, His punishment and the fire of hell, by carrying out His commands and keeping away from His Prohibitions. You cannot be protected from the punishment of Allaah, His Anger and the Fire of Hell by fortresses, armies and garments; rather you can only be protected through Fear of Allaah [Glorified and Exalted be He] by carrying out Allaah’s commands and keeping away from His Prohibitions.

Leadership cannot be accomplished except by way of Sam’i Wat Taa’ah (i.e. to listen to the Ruler and being obedient to him) even if he is an Abyssinian slave and does not command a person to disobey Allaah. Therefore, the Leader of the Muslims is to be obeyed because there is an overriding benefit for the Muslims in doing so, in order to bring about unity. However, the exception is what the Messenger stated that ‘There is no obedience to the creation in disobedience to the Creator’. Therefore, the ruler is not obeyed in disobedience to Allaah, but he is obeyed in that which is in opposition to sin. However, this does not mean that we come out and rebel if he commands disobedience; rather we do not obey him in sin, but we obey him in those affairs that do not involve sin'”. (1) Also read here: is Tyranny of the ruler a reason for rebellion? https://www.abukhadeejah.com/the-tyranny-of-the-rulers-a-reason-for-rebellion/

Indeed, this is what Muslims of all walks of life have been commanded, that they fear Allaah, follow the Sunnah of the Messenger and the Sunnah of the rightly guided Khulafaa (AbuBakr, Umar, Umar and Ali (may Allaah be pleased with them)], obey the Muslim rulers in good and refrain from rebellion. This is what is obligated on everyone including the Armed Forces, the police and other people placed in charge of national security. No one is allowed to utilize his position, especially the military, to overthrow the government. Neither is it allowed to support Coupists nor threaten rulers – whether by written communication or word of mouth-that unless they do such and such or adhere to such and such agreement, they will be removed. The Muslims cannot allow this reckless, ridiculous and dangerous nonsense, rather it is only championed by some of the agents of some of the neocolonialists and globalists, whose pursuit is nothing but to initiate disunity and chaos. Regardless the position of the one who threatens a Muslim ruler with coups – whether the kahwaarij, members of the armed forces or the external proponents of regime change, they are all blood thirsty morons. They desire the chaos and instability that has led to the murder of thousands of innocent Muslims and Non-Muslims. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The termination of the world means less to Allah than the killing of a Muslim (i.e. without right)”. (2) And the Prophet [peace and blessings off Allaah be upon him] said, “Whoever kills a person who is granted the agreement of protection by the Muslims shall not smell the fragrance of Paradise though its fragrance can be smelled at a distance of forty years journey”. (3)

The spiteful neocolonialists and globalists do their utmost not to allow chaos in their countries, yet they are ready to turn other countries- Muslim and Non-Muslim Nations – into battlefields when the rulers of those countries firmly block their neocolonialist agendas. Therefore, the Armed Forces of the Muslim Nations are not an exception, rather they are commanded to obey the Muslim rulers, protect the nation and refrain from rebellion. Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah protect him] said:

[3] Ramadhaan Reminders: [Journalists Not to Utter Anything About Fasting Except Based On Unambiguous Clarifications of Upright Scholars]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Indeed, we have been put to trial nowadays by way of the pens and keyboards of the journalists. Some of them speak in the affairs of the religion with neither proof nor detail explanation from the upright scholars of the Ummah – the scholars of Tawheed and Sunnah. It is very important that one either gives detail from the explanations of the upright scholars or refrain from entering into subject matters of the pure religion. Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “There’s no good thing except that he [The Messenger- peace and blessing of Allaah be upon him] has urged the person towards it and there is no evil except that he warned the Ummah against it”. Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen [may Allaah have mercy upon him] commented on the above statement as follows, “This is correct because indeed good is something one seeks to do, therefore he clarified it specifically and urged a person towards it. And regarding evil, we say, ‘There is no evil except that he warned against it’ and he (Shaikhul Islaam) did not say,’There’s no evil except he has clarified it (i.e. in detail)’, because there are evil things which he clarified (in detail) and warned against, and there are evil things which he did not clarify (in detail); rather he warned against it in general. For example, fornication, killing a person (i.e. without a justified reason based on the sharee’ah) and what is similar to these deeds are manifest evils, and religious innovation (Bidah) is a manifest evil; but did he mention every Bidah specifically by its description in a text or in general? Answer: They are mentioned in general and warned against. The distinction between (evil) and good is that good is something one seeks to do, therefore it is in need of being clarified specifically – clarify every affair so that we do it, unlike evil because it is something to be abandoned, therefore sometimes it is mentioned in detail and sometimes in general”. (1)

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said,”It is obligated on you to give detail and make a distinction, because unrestricted and general (statements) without clarification has indeed corrupted this existence (i.e. the world), and misguided the intellects and views (of the people) in every era”. Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] commented on this statement and stated, “There has to be detail explanation. The one who is not proficient in giving detail should keep quiet because benefit is not acquired from his speech. And every time error occurs, its cause is due to an absence of detail explanation regarding truth and falsehood. There has to be detail explanation and distinction and not to mix up [affairs]. Indeed, it may be that there is something of truth and falsehood in an opponent’s statement, so all of it is neither deemed to be false nor truth; rather there has to be a distinction between its truth and falsehood. All of it is neither rejected nor accepted; rather a distinction is made regarding the truth and what is correct and the falsehood and error in it. And if you are not proficient in giving detail, then you should not enter into this field”. (2)

The clarification intended in this short article is regarding the statement of a Turkish journalist who stated regarding fasting in Ramadhaan,”Its religious significance aside, fasting has become one of the most encouraged methods of replenishing health, with recent clinical studies citing countless physical and mental benefits, ranging from weight loss and mental clarity to reversing disease. While this historical month of fasting is certainly not new and in fact spans back thousands of years, there are many among us who have just recently boarded the fasting train and thus we may choose to embark on this annual tradition ourselves this year, whether it be as a spiritual practice or a healthy interlude”.

Pay close attention to the statement, “There are many among us who have just recently boarded the fasting train and thus we may choose to embark on this annual tradition ourselves this year, whether it be as a spiritual practice or a healthy interlude”. Indeed, this statement needs clarification so that the virtue of fasting as an act of worship is clearly distinguished from fasting as a means of improving health. Abu Huraira [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], “Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. Whoever stands in prayer during the Night of Decree due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven”. [Al-Bukhaaree 1901 and Muslim 760]

Regarding the statement of the Prophet, “Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan due to faith and seeking reward”, Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “Due to believing that Allaah legislated it and seeking reward, as opposed to the one who fasts out of blind following”. (3) “That is because fasting is for the purpose of Taqarrub Ilal laah [i.e. perform acts of worship legislated by Allaah, so that we receive Allaah’s love, reward and help etc] and intention is a condition for its performance”. (4)

Pay close attention to the statement “and intention is a condition of its performance”, meaning intention [Niyyah] is a condition for the performance of fasting. This Niyyah [intention] is what distinguishes one act of worship from another act of worship- a distinction between prayer and fasting, distinction between an obligatory prayer and an optional prayer etc (4.1), and it is also what distinguishes acts of worship from customary deeds, for example taking a bath may be done to clean oneself or cool one’s body (i.e. not related to worship) or it may be done as ritual purification. (4.2) Therefore, this journalist should have made a clear distinction between the importance of fasting as an act of worship and fasting for a healthy interlude.

And regarding the statement of the Messenger, “his previous sins will be forgiven”, Imaam An-Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “It is well known – regarding what the jurists hold – that this specifically applies to the minor sins and not the major”. (5) Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “This forgiveness is attained on condition that one abandons the major sins”. (6) Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz also stated a principle related to the unrestricted narrations in which a mention is made regarding the expiation of sins that they are restricted by the texts regarding the abandonment of major sins – either restricted by the statement of Allaah: [إِنْ تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ – If you avoid the great sins which you are forbidden to do, We shall remit from you your (small) sins. (Surah An-Nisaa. Aayah 31)]; or by the statement of the Messenger, “The five prayers, Friday to Friday, and Ramadan to Ramadan will expiate the sins committed between them, as long as major sins are avoided”. (7)

Some of The Benefits of Fasting By Al-Allaamah Abdul Muhsin Al-Abbaad [may Allaah preserve him]

As for fasting, its good outcomes are tremendous because it is a protection. Imaam Bukhaari and Imaam Muslim reported the hadeeth, “Fasting is a shield”. (8) It is shield of protection against the hell fire in the afterlife and it is a protection against disobedience (to Allaah and His Messenger). Fasting weakens the desires of a person; so it restrains the whims of a person and acts as barrier against the dangerous and forbidden deeds he might commit due to engagement in enjoyment (i.e. enjoyment that may exceed the limits impose by Allaah and His Messenger). Indeed the soul may engage- due to such enjoyment- in affairs whose end results are unpraiseworthy in this worldly and the hereafter; so because of this the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Paradise is surrounded by hardships and the hell fire is surrounded by all kinds of desires and passions”. (9)

The path to paradise requires that a person exercises patience in order to abstain from disobedience and the path to the hell fire is surrounded by all (forbidden) desires. If a person distances himself from those forbidden desires, he [or she] will be safe; but if a person engages in such forbidden desires he [or she] will fall into what Allaah has forbidden. This forbidden enjoyment will be one that quickly fades away, but its end results will be grief, regret and humiliation in this life and the next. It has been reported in a hadeeth narrated by Abdullaah Ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him] that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “O young people! Whoever among you is able to marry, should marry, and whoever is not able to marry, is recommended to observe Sawm (fast) as fasting will diminish his sexual strength”. (10)

Therefore, the Prophet made it clear that if a person is able to get married, he should hasten to do so in order to remain chaste and enables another person (i.e. wife) to remain chaste; but if he is not able, he should devote himself to this Prophetic remedy which the Noble Messenger directed him to, and that is fasting. And that is because it is a safeguard and a protection for a person against falling into disobedience. In summary: This is a Noble Prophetic guidance given by the Noble Messenger to the youth-that they should get marriage if they are able to do so; but if not, they should restrain their desires through fasting.

As for the fasting of the wealthy people, it reminds them of hunger pangs; so they reflect upon the blessings Allaah has bestowed on them because they have Muslim brothers (and sisters) who suffer from hunger pangs (even) without fasting. And that is because they cannot find something (i.e. food) to do away with extreme hunger. So this reflection becomes a drive (or motive) for them (i.e. the wealthy) to show kindness towards the poor and to spend on the destitute and needy.

Regime Change! [The Main Goal Behind This Satanic Scheme of The Globalists]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allaah [The Most High] said:

[وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٲهِـۧمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَـٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنً۬ا وَٱرۡزُقۡ أَهۡلَهُ ۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٲتِ مَنۡ ءَامَنَ مِنۡہُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأَخِرِ‌ۖ – And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said: My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day]. [Surah Al-Baqara. Aayah 126]

Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah protect him] stated: Indeed, he [Ibraaheem-peace be upon him] gave priority to security (in his supplication) over seeking sustenance, because security is a necessity. Security is a necessity and the people cannot enjoy sustenance alongside fear; rather sustenance cannot be reached in the presence of fear. This is what the enemies desire – those who try to destabilise the Muslim societies. They wish to disassociate the Muslims from their unity behind their Muslim rulers. This is what they desire and they do not desire good advice for the Muslims. [They wish to disassociate the Muslims from their unity behind their rulers] in name of actualizing beneficial affairs, rectification, removal of oppression and the likes. All of this is lies and false pretences, because if ruler ship slips away chaos will be at large, corruption will spread and the beneficial affairs which they say will be actualized will be non-existent. Corruption will be at large and there will not be rectification. Therefore, for this reason there has to be ruler ship upon which the Muslims unite. And even if (such ruler ship) has shortcomings and negligence, the (people) should exercise patience, because there is prevention of that which is more severe and harmful through patience. Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “It is not known of a group that rose against their Muslim ruler, except that their state of affairs after his removal was more evil than their state of affairs whilst he was present”. This is something experienced at present. The rulers and heads of state who have been removed, what is the state of affairs of their countries after they were (removed)? There has not ceased to be fear, anxiety, chaos, bloodshed etc. (1)

This emphasises the fact that safety is an important affair needed by a person, otherwise Ibraaheem [peace be upon him] would not have been eager to repeat his request to Allaah to make it a reality in this land. Look at the lands where a system that (guarantees) safety has been lost! You will find that the people are unable to pursue affairs of their daily lives- their schools and markets are shut, everyone stays in the houses and those among them who have the ability would hasten to leave this land to go somewhere else. And if you ask one of them, you will find him saying that he is unable to live with his people and family in that place in which safety has been lost.

Security cannot be established properly except by way of two affairs: Implementation of Allaah’s Laws and obedience to the rulers. Indeed, the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] clarified this affair that is needed by a Muslim in his life. Irbaad Saariyah [may Allaah be pleased with him] said, “The Messenger of Allaah [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] gave us an admonition after the morning prayer – an admonition that made our hearts fearful and our eyes tearful. So, a man said, ‘Indeed, is this a farewell sermon, so what do you advise us?’ He said, ‘I enjoin you to have fear of Allaah and that you listen and obey, even if an Abyssinian slave (is made a ruler over you), for indeed he among you who lives long enough will see many differences. So, beware of newly invented matters (in the religion) because indeed it is misguidance. And whoever among you witnesses that, then it is obligated on him to adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided khulafaa, adhere to it with your molar teeth'”. [Reported by Ahmad 3/126]

This hadeeth establishes the foundations of security in Islaam and they are: Firstly, Taqwallaah [Fear of Allaah (The Most High)] based on its complete and comprehensive meaning. Secondly, obedience to the rulers (in what is good). Fear of Allaah rectifies a Muslim’s relationship with Allaah, his neighbours and everything around him; whereas in the absence of Allaah’s Sharee’ah, destruction and depravity will occur. Indeed, Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic] warned the one who abandons His Sharee’ah and is disobedient to His Messenger. Allaah said:

And Allah puts forward the example of a township (Makkah), that dwelt secure and well content; its provision coming to it in abundance from every place, but it (its people) denied the Favours of Allah (with ungratefulness). So Allah made it taste the extreme of hunger (famine) and fear, because of that (evil, i.e. denying Prophet Muhammad) which they (its people) used to do. [Surah An-Nahl. Aayah 112]

By listening to the rulers and obeying them (in good), all the affairs of the person’s life in his society will be a state of normality. Listening to the rulers and obeying them (in good) is included in the subject matter of Taqwa [fear of Allaah]. Al-Hasan Al-Basri [may Allaah have mercy upon him] used to say, “Indeed, Al-Hajjaaj is the punishment of Allaah, so do not repel the punishment of Allaah with your own hands; rather you must submit and show humility because Allaah] The Most High] said: [وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَاهُم بِالْعَذَابِ فَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ – And Indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allaah) with submission to Him]. [Surah Al-Muminoon. Aayah 76]

So, you find a person who knows what security is and his understanding regarding it increases due to fear of Allaah, and he is eager to obey the rulers (in good); but when he falls short (in Taqwa), his perception of security becomes deficient. When Taqwa is actualised, he will receive the promise Allaah has mentioned (as follows):

Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). [Surah An-Noor. Aayah 55]

The absence of obedience to the ruler and putting oneself before him is one of the greatest causes of corrupting the land and the people, and turning away from the path of guidance and uprightness. Al Hasan Al Basri [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “By Allaah! The religion cannot be established except by way of rulers – even if they commit tyranny and oppression- due to the many affairs that Allaah rectifies through them more than what they corrupt”. http://www.abukhadeejah.com/the-tyranny-of-the-rulers-a-reason-for-rebellion/

Ibn Rajab [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “There is great advantage in the worldly life when rulers are obeyed. And by way of it, the beneficial affairs related to the livelihood of the people are established and they utilise them as an aid through which they manifest their religion and obey their Lord”. http://www.abukhadeejah.com/the-tyranny-of-the-rulers-a-reason-for-rebellion/

Disobedience to the rulers and putting oneself before them through fighting or other than that is tantamount to disobeying Allaah and His Messenger, and an opposition to that which Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah were upon – the pious predecessors. Preservation of security leads to brotherhood and mutual alliance between the Muslims. Allaah [The Mighty and Majestic] said: [إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ – The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islamic religion). So, make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allah, that you may receive mercy]. [Surah Al-Hujuraat. Aayah 10]

Allaah [The Most High] said:

The believers, men and women, are Auliya’ (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another, they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma’ruf, and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar; they perform As-Salat and give the Zakat, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah will have His Mercy on them. Surely Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. [Surah At-Tawbah. Aayah 71]

Eemaan (faith) is neither wishful thinking nor mere claims, rather it is what settles in the heart and actions testify to it. A person cannot be a true believer until he loves for his Muslim brother what he loves for himself and until he deals with the people in a manner he loves to be dealt with! It is well known that security is something sought after by everyone; therefore it is the responsibility of a Muslim that he is eager for the security of others in order that he can receive security and safety for himself. Also, preserving security in the land necessitates the fulfilment of trusts, whereas bringing about a state of insecurity is tantamount to treachery. Allaah [The Most High] said:

O you who believe! Betray not Allah and His Messenger, nor betray knowingly your Amaanaat (things entrusted to you, and all the duties which Allah has ordained for you). And know that your possessions and your children are but a trial and that surely with Allah is a mighty reward. O you who believe! If you obey and fear Allah, He will grant you Furqan a criterion [(to judge between right and wrong), or (Makhraj, i.e. making a way for you to get out from every difficulty)], and will expiate for you your sins, and forgive you, and Allah is the Owner of the Great Bounty. [Surah Al-Anfaal. Aayaat 27-29] (2)

Shaikhul Islaam ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, “They [i.e. Ahlus Sunnah] know that Allaah sent Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] for the benefit of the slaves [i.e. humankind and Jinn] in this life and the next, and Allaah commands rectification and not corruption”. My Continent, Nation, Race, Tribe or Clan is at War With An Opponent, So I Must Disparage and Obliterate Culture of The Opponent!

In The Name of Allaah, the Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Ascription and The Only Basis of Superior Virtue Amongst Humankind and Jinn

Allaah [The Most High] said:

O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has the most fear of Allaah. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware. [Surah Al-Hujuraat. Aayah 13]

[لِتَعَارَفُوا  – that you may know one another]: Meaning: So that you may know one another and how close you all are to one another in lineage, but not out of boastfulness. Then Allaah informed us that the most elevated amongst them [i.e. the children of Aadam] are those who fear Allaah the most. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said: “Learn your lineages so that you can maintain ties of kinship. (1)

Ascription to a tribe and a nation is affirmed in Islaam. The companions of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] used to ascribe themselves to their tribes and their people in the presence of the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him], and he never disapproved of that. (2)

The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said: Indeed, Allaah [The Most High] has removed from you the pride of the pre-Islamic period and its boasting about ancestors. One is only a pious believer or a wretched sinner. You are sons of Adam and Adam (was created from) dust. Let the people abandon boasting about their ancestors, for they are merely fuel in Jahannam; or they will become more insignificant in (the sight of) Allah than the beetle which rolls dung with its nose. (3)

The Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, ‘’Whoever is held back by his deeds, his (nobility) of lineage will not push him forward.” (4) Imaam Nawawi [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said, ‘’Its meaning is that the one whose deeds are deficient and he does not catch up with the performers of (good) deeds, then it is obligatory upon him not to crown himself with nobility of lineage and the virtues of his forefathers, whilst he is lagging behind in (performing good) deeds.” (5)

Dealing Justly With Everyone Even Your Enemies

Allaah [The Most High] said:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do. [Surah Al-Maa’idah. Ayah 8]

“O you who believe”- Meaning, O you who believe in that which your Eemaan obligates on you! Establish that which your Eemaan necessitates so that you are “Stand out firmly for Allaah and be just witnesses”- being eager and active in establishing justice in all your apparent and hidden deeds, do so for the sake of Allaah alone and not due to some worldly gaol, and intend to do justice- neither going beyond bounds nor falling short in your statements and actions. (6)

Indeed, some people exceed the limits of fair play when their continent, race, tribe, clan or nation is in a state of conflict or war with others. So, you hear them saying, “Everything associated with the opponent is to be vilified, rejected, disparaged, ostracised and obliterated, whether that is their culture, expressions, food, manners or mutual dealings”, and they expect everyone else to join them in this stance of theirs which not based on the limits imposed by the creator, rather its basis is anger, desires and ignorance. Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated about balanced anger, “Its limits are praiseworthy bravery and having a dislike for despicable and deficient (behaviour). This is its perfection, but when one goes beyond its limits, the person transgresses and oppresses. And if his anger is deficient, he’ll behave in a cowardly manner and will not detest despicable (behaviour etc)”. Regarding desires, the Imaam said, “When a person goes beyond its limits, it leads to a strong and barely uncontrollable emotion and lewdness, and thus the person descends to the level of animals”. Then at the end of his speech- after stating different characteristics and their upright balance – the Imaam said, “And one of the most noble and beneficial sciences is the knowledge regarding the hudood [the appropriate limits], especially the divine limits-the commands and prohibitions [ordained by Allaah (The Most High) and His Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him]. The most knowledgeable people are those who have the most knowledge regarding those divine limits, hence they neither include- within those limits- that which is not from them nor remove that which is included in them. Allaah [The Most High] said: [ٱلۡأَعۡرَابُ أَشَدُّ ڪُفۡرً۬ا وَنِفَاقً۬ا وَأَجۡدَرُ أَلَّا يَعۡلَمُواْ حُدُودَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ – The bedouins are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more likely to be in ignorance of the limits (Allah’s Commandments and His Legal Laws, etc.) which Allah has revealed to His Messenger]”. [Soorah At-Tawbah’ Aayah 97] (7)

Therefore, one must strive to adhere to the divine legislated boundaries – neither anger nor desires should lead us to oppress or treat others unfairly.

As for seeking to vilify, reject, disparage, ostracise and obliterate the culture, manners, mutual dealings, expressions and even the national food of the opponent, then indeed this also is not to be pursued based on opinion and desires; rather it has to be pursued based on sound divine principles.

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said:

It is obligated on every Muslim that he does not depend on custom; rather he presents it to the pure Islamic legislation [to be judged], so whatever the Islamic legislation affirms is permissible and whatever it does not affirm is impermissible. The customs of the people are not proof to determine the lawfulness of anything. All the customs of the people in their countries or tribes must be presented to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] for judgement, so whatever Allaah and His Messenger made permissible is permissible, and whatever they forbid, then it is obligatory to abandon it even if it is the custom of the people. (8)

Imaam Muhammad Bin Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said:

The customs cannot make something that is not legislated (in the divine revelation) as something legislated, because of Allaah’s statement: [وَلَيۡسَ ٱلۡبِرُّ بِأَن تَأۡتُواْ ٱلۡبُيُوتَ مِن ظُهُورِهَا – It is not Al-Birr (piety, righteousness, etc.) that you enter the houses from the back] [Surah Al-Baqarah. Aayah 189], despite the fact that it was something they took as their custom and considered it to be an act of righteousness. Whoever takes something as a custom and believes that it is an act of righteousness, then it should be presented to Allaah’s divine legislation. (9)

Imaam Muhammad Bin Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen [may Allaah have mercy upon him] also said:

Extremism in related to customs is stringent adherence to old customs and not diverting to what is better than them. As for if the customs are equal in benefit [i.e. the ones judged to be permissible by the divine legislation], then a person remaining upon what he is upon would be better than going along with the new (or emerging) customs. (10)

Words, Terms and Expressions

The basis of a person’s Islaam is to testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad [sallal-laahu-alayhi- wasallam] is the Messenger of Allaah, to believe in Allaah, declare that Allaah is One without partner, obey Allaah’s commands, keep away from what Allaah has forbidden and single out Allaah in worship. And safeguarding this path [necessitates] the prohibition of every expression [term or word] that contains Shirk Billaah [i.e. ascribing partners to Allaah] or Kufr, or will lead to one of the two. (11)  In the Qur’aan, there are many words that are utilised to rebut the words [or terms] that are in opposition to the call of the Messengers, the revelation that was revealed to them and the truth they brought. (12)

One of the general fundamental principles [in Islaam] is to know that words [or terms] are two types: Words that are mentioned in the Qur’aan and [authentic] Sunnah, therefore, it is obligated on every believer to affirm them – affirm what Allaah and His Messenger have affirmed, and negate what Allaah and His Messenger have negated. The words [or terms] affirmed by Allaah is truth and the ones Allaah negated are [negated] in truth, for indeed Allaah speaks the truth and guides to the straight path. The words [or terms] of the Sharee’ah are sanctified, and it is from perfection in knowledge that one seeks after the [sound meanings] which the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] intended by them, in order to affirm what he affirmed and negate the meanings he negated; for indeed it is obligated on us to believe and bear witness to everything he has stated and follow him in everything he has commanded. As for the words [or terms] that are neither found in the Qur’am and [authentic] Sunnah, nor did the Salaf hold a consensus regarding whether they are negated or affirmed, then it is not incumbent on anyone to agree with the one who negates them or affirms them until its intended meaning is explained. So, if its intended meaning agrees with the [revelation, commands, prohibitions etc] conveyed by the Messenger, it is affirmed; but if its intended meaning is in opposition to the [revelation, commands, prohibitions etc] conveyed by the Messenger, it is rejected. (13)

 Food

Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: The foundation of the religion of Islaam is that the permissible affairs are those that Allaah and His Messenger have made permissible, and the impermissible affairs are those that Allaah and His Messenger have made impermissible. It is not allowed for anyone to leave the straight path which Allaah sent His Messenger with. Allaah [The Most High] said:

[وَأَنَّ هَـٰذَا صِرَٲطِى مُسۡتَقِيمً۬ا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ‌ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمۡ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ‌ۚ ذَٲلِكُمۡ وَصَّٮٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّڪُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ – And verily, this is my Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not [other] paths, for they will separate you away from His Path. This He has ordained for you that you may become pious].

Abdullaah Ibn Mas’ud [may Allaah be pleased with him] reported that the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] drew a line for us and said, “This is Allaah’s Straight Path”. Then he drew lines to its right and left and then said, “These are other paths. Upon every one of them there is a devil calling towards it”. Then he recited: “وَأَنَّ هَـٰذَا صِرَٲطِى مُسۡتَقِيمً۬ا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ‌ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمۡ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ‌ – Indeed this is My Straight Path, so follow it. And do not follow other paths; they will separate you from His Path”. [Hadeeth reported by Imaam Ahmad in Al-Musnad 4437]

Indeed, Allaah mentioned – in Surah Al-An’aam, Soorah Al-A’raaf and other them – those deeds the idol worshipers were rebuked for, when they declared impermissible the things which Allaah [The Most High] did not declare impermissible, such as the Baahirah [i.e. a she-camel whose milk was spared for the idols and nobody was allowed to milk it] and the Saa’ibah [i.e. a she-camel let loose for free pasture for their false gods, e.g. idols, etc., and nothing was allowed to be carried on it]. They [also] declared permissible those [deeds] which Allaah declared impermissible, such as the killing of their children and they instituted a religion which Allaah did not allow. Allaah [The Most High] said: [أَمۡ لَهُمۡ شُرَڪَـٰٓؤُاْ شَرَعُواْ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱلدِّينِ مَا لَمۡ يَأۡذَنۢ بِهِ ٱللَّهُ‌ۚ – Or have they partners with Allah (false gods), who have instituted for them a religion which Allah has not allowed]. (14)

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadee Al-Mad’khalee [may Allaah preserve him] stated about lies and liars: All these people carry mighty lies – which cannot be enumerated here – related to affairs of legislation and in declaring what is lawful and unlawful, such as what Allaah has stated regarding the pagan Arabs, who made judgements about the Bahirah [a she-camel whose milk was spared for the idols and that nobody was allowed to milk it] or a Sa’ibah [a she-camel let loose for free pasture for their false gods and that nothing was allowed to be carried on it], or a Wasilah [a she-camel set free for idols because it has given birth to a she-camel at its first delivery and then again gives birth to a she-camel at its second delivery]. Allaah [تعالى ] stated in declaring this a lie:

[مَا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَحِيرَةٍ۬ وَلَا سَآٮِٕبَةٍ۬ وَلَا وَصِيلَةٍ۬ وَلَا حَامٍ۬‌ۙ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَفۡتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ‌ۖ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ – Allah has not instituted things like Bahirah (a she-camel whose milk was spared for the idols and nobody was allowed to milk it) or a Sa’ibah (a she-camel let loose for free pasture for their false gods, e.g. idols, etc., and nothing was allowed to be carried on it), or a Wasilah (a she-camel set free for idols because it has given birth to a she-camel at its first delivery and then again gives birth to a she-camel at its second delivery) or a Ham (a stallion-camel freed from work for their idols, after it had finished a number of copulations assigned for it, all these animals were liberated in honour of idols as practised by pagan Arabs in the pre-Islamic period). But those who disbelieve invent lies against Allah, and most of them have no understanding]. [Surah Al-Maa’idah. Aayah 103]

By Allaah, they are liars and they are foolish people deprived of sound intellect. Allaah said:

So eat of the lawful and good food which Allah has provided for you. And be grateful for the Graces of Allah, if it is He Whom you worship. He has forbidden you only Al-Maytatah (meat of a dead animal), blood, the flesh of swine, and any animal which is slaughtered as a sacrifice for others than Allah (or has been slaughtered for idols etc. or on which Allah’s Name has not been mentioned while slaughtering). But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, and not transgressing, then, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And say not concerning that which your tongues put forth falsely: “This is lawful and this is forbidden,” so as to invent lies against Allah. Verily, those who invent lies against Allah will never prosper. A passing brief enjoyment (will be theirs), but they will have a painful torment. [Surah An-Nahl. Verses 114-117]

This was an address to the Arabs who instituted things like Bahirah or a Sa’ibah, and due to this Allaah declared this affair of theirs a lie, determined the unlawful things in relation to that which they stated, made it known that what they declared unlawful or lawful is tantamount to lies invented against Allaah, that the liars will not be successful, their enjoyment through lies and slanders is a brief enjoyment and an eternal punishment awaits them – a painful punishment. (15)

Do Not Be Bad Mannered And Be Sensitive to Other People’s Feelings! Either Eat or Leave It, But Never Criticize, Frown, Mock etc

Narrated Abu Hurairah [may Allaah be pleased with him]: The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] never criticized any food, but he would eat it if he liked it; otherwise he would leave it. [Saheeh al-Bukhaari Number 3563]

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: This is from his [i.e. the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) noble manners. He would neither say that it is salty nor the opposite of it. Question: What if one says the food is such and such in order to warn (or notify the people)? Answer: There is no harm in doing so, for warning (or notifying) is something else because it is done to educate (people about food etc). (16)

Ibn ‘Umar [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] reported that there were some people with Allaah’s Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] among his Companions, Sa’d [may Allaah be pleased with him] being one of them. There was brought to them the flesh of the lizard when a lady [may Allaah be pleased with her] amongst the wives of Allaah’s Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said: ”It is the flesh of the lizard”. So Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, ”Eat, for it is lawful, but it is not my diet”. (17)

Ibn Abbaas [may Allaah be pleased with him and his father] reported: I and Khalid bin Al-Waleed [may Allaah be pleased with him] went to the apartment of Maimoonah [may Allaah be pleased with her] along with Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] and there was presented to him a roasted lizard. Allaah’s Messenger stretched his hand towards it, whereupon some of the women who had been in the house of Maimoonah said: Inform Allaah’s Messenger what he intends to eat. Allaah’s Messenger lifted his hand. I said, ”Messenger of Allaah, is it forbidden?” He said, ”No. It is not found in the land of my people, and I feel that I have no liking for it”. Khalid said, ”I then chewed and ate it, while, Allaah’s Messenger was looking (at me)”. (18)

Therefore, do not be made to feel guilty by those who seek to claim that unless you join them in opposing their opponents – based on other than the sound principles of the Shareea’h – then you’ll be on the wrong side of history; rather let all our deeds be based on what Allaah has legislated- neither being influenced by the globalists nor those who seek support to pursue their geopolitical agendas. And Allaah knows best.
