Reminder: Suffice Yourself With What Is Found at Manhaj.com And Get Ready For The Study Circles

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

The Prophet [sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam] said:

”It is enough sin for a person to speak of everything that he hears.”
[Muqaddimah Saheeh Muslim 1/10]

Let us be careful, vigilant and calm. We should not even spend a minute of your valuable time to read messages written by people who rush to transmit – via twitter etc – whatever they have heard or witnessed. All praise is due to Allaah, we have scholars – Shaikh Rabee, Shaikh Ubaid and others – and we have elders amongst us in the west who are well known to the scholars. Shaikh Rabee’s clafications are enough and they are being transmitted at manhaj.com. All praise is due to Allaah, we suffice ourselves with what is found at manhaj.com against the Musaafiqah. Finally, let us start getting ready for the study circles in the Maraakiz.

Rejecting The Truth – Shaykh Uthaymīn

Shaykh Uthaymīn (rahimahullaah) explained the outcome for those who reject the truth, based on the tafsir of the following verse:

بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ فَهُمْ فِي أَمْرٍ مَرِيجٍ

‏Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Qurān) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong).
‏Sura Qāf: 5

Shaykh Uthaymīn:

“Likewise every person who rejects the truth the first time, then he should know that he will be trialed with doubts and uncertainty in accepting the truth in the future. Therefore it is obligatory upon us when we hear that this thing is the truth, that we say: “we hear and obey.”

Allāh Replaces Sins with Good Deeds When You Repent – Shaykh Uthaymīn

‏Shaykh Uthaymīn (rahimahullāh) in explanation of verse 12 in Al-Hujurāt:

Repentance (tawbah) from the servant is to move from disobeying Allāh to obeying Him. And repentance from Allāh means that Allāh accepts the repentance of the servant and subsequently exchanges his sins for good deeds.

Importance of Studying the Prophet’s Biography and Benefits of Doing so – Shaykh Sālih āl Ash-Shaykh

Studying the prophet’s biography (sallallāhu alaihi wa salam) and reading it, causes:

  1. The certainty of the believer to become stronger.
  2. Makes his steadfastness and perseverance upon the religion of Allah stronger.
  3. Causes the believer’s heart to be honoured due to Islam.
  4. He is ennobled by the Tawheed of Allāh.
  5. Ennobled due to what his heart contains of knowledge and awareness of Allah.
  6. Ennobled due to his belief in Muhammad (sallallāhu alaihi wa salam).
  7. And ennobled by that which Allāh sent down upon his messengers.

وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

But honour, power and glory belong to Allah, His Messenger (Muhammad sallallāhu alaihi wa salam), and to the believers
(Al-Munāfiqūn: 8)

These are from the many benefits that every believer benefits from by studying the biography of The Chosen One (المصطفى) (sallallāhu alaihi wa salam).

The Repugnant and Reprehensible Person – Imām as-Sa’di (rahimahullāh)

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ

‏O you who believe! Why do you say that
‏which you do not do? (As-Saff: 2)

Imām as-Sa’di (rahimahullāh) explains this verse,

“Whoever speaks (and disseminates guidance and) the truth, yet their actions are in opposition to it; they (and their actions) are repugnant and reprehensible. Whereas the praiseworthy outcome  is for the person whose outward state, inward state, his statements and his actions are in conformity with the truth.”

The Result of Seeking Guidance from Other than the Qur’ān and the Sunnah – Imām As-Sa’di (rahimahullāh)

Imām As-Sa’di (rahimahullāh) explained the following part of āyah 73 from sūrah Āli Imrān:

‎قُلْ إِنَّ الْهُدَىٰ هُدَى اللَّهِ

“Verily! Right guidance is the Guidance of Allah” (Āli- Imrān: 73)

This verse and those similar to it, show us that whomsoever seeks guidance and the correct way from other than the Qur’ān and the Sunnah, then he has become misguided and left the correct path. Because (true) guidance is restricted to the guidance of Allāh, that which he sent with the Messenger (sallallāhu alaihi wa salam).
