Reflection: A Brother Shares Mother’s Statements, Supplications and Encouragement

*You are all a joy in my life. I love you all and will always see you as my babies, in my eyes lol. I will never forget changing nappies and running around with the daily schedule. But, at the end of the day, no one can take the place of a mum. May your kids look after you the way you guys are looking after me, Ameen

*May Allah’s peace and mercy be upon you and your loved ones. May HE bestow his grace and blessings upon the entire Ummah. May HE give us longevity of life and good health.

Pray all is well. I was shocked when I heard what the terrorists did in London. May Allah protect you all, turn away every evil from your surroundings. Ameen. My salams to all.

*Pray all is well. It seems as if you don’t work full time now? If so, not bad, at least u don’t have to go morning and evening. I know the extra is important, but I use to feel bad when you come home and having to go back in the evenings. It’s not been easy. InshaaAllaah, it will ease when all the elder ones start earning. It seems as if history is repeating itself. I didn’t have many kids, but had a house full of extended family kids to look after and lived with them. Am glad they are all grown-ups and have moved on. The world is temporary. May Allah keep you all safe and well, Ameen.

*May Allah distance you from shame and failure, destroy every evil plan against you and your loved ones, protect you from known and unknown enemies. May Allah support you and your family with His Love, Kindness, Mercy, Blessings & Forgiveness… May you continue to enjoy Allah’s Rahmah, Ni’mah and Protection till yaumul Qiyaamaah.

Take Good Care of the Youth – Shaykh Al-Uthaymīn

Shaykh Al-Uthaymīn (Allah have mercy on him) said:

The legislated texts came urging with (cultivating and) taking good care of the youth; directing them to that which is good, upright and proper.

Therefore, if the youth are upright and proper – and they are the foundation and future of this nation, their uprightness is built upon strong pillars of the religion and manners – in the future they will be a light for this nation and righteous successors for our scholars, inshā Allāh.

The Means to a Loving Relationship and Strong Bond Between Husband and Wife- By Shaikh Uthaymeen [rahimahullaah]

Shaikh Uthaymeen [rahimahullaah] said: If a person says: What will make a man love his wife and vice versa? We say: Allaah has clarified this in His statement:

وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ

And live with them honourably. [Soorah An-Nisaa’ Aayah 19]

If every person lives with his wife honourably and vice versa, then love, a strong bond and a happy married life will be established.

[Fataawaa Noor Alad-Darb 6/29. Abridged]

The Love Between Husband and Wife – By Imaam As-Sadi [rahimahullaah]

Allaah (The Most High) said:

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect.” [Soorah Ar-Rum: Ayah: 21]

Imaam as-Saa’di [rahimahullaah]: ”In most cases you will not find love in anyone similar to the love and mercy between a husband and wife.”

Special Thanks to That Special One in The House- [The Selfless Wife and Mother]

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

After thanking Allaah, then thanks to that special person in the house – she fasts, establishes the five daily prayers and performs other acts of worship; but she also takes great pleasure in preparing the food which everyone is eager to see on the table at the time of Iftaar. She is not our possession; rather she is the one with a more compassionate heart InShaaAllaah- always ready to make everyone happy, even when she is tired. We thank Allaah for granting us the companionship of this special one- the compassionate wife and mother of the household. She is a treasure and a beloved one, within and outside the month of Ramadhaan. It is a great pleasure to know that we are sharing our lives with this person- one of the most selfless people we have ever met. May Allaah grant her abundant good in this life and the next…Aameen
