None Violates The Honour of The Scholars, Except One of These Three Types of People

Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] said, ”None violates the honour of the scholars who are upon the truth, except one of three (people): Either a hypocrite known for (his) hypocrisy, or an evil sinner who hates the scholars because they prevent him from his sinful (acts) of disobedience, or a misguided hizbi who hates the scholars because they neither agree with his hizbiyyah nor with his deviated views”.

Have You Returned The Rights of The People When Repenting?!

Shaikh Bin Baaz [rahimahullaah] said:

The conditions [to be fulfilled in order for repentance to be accepted are] three: [1] To be regretful and remorseful regarding the past (acts of disobedience you committed); [2] To renounce and abandon the sins – the big and small (of them); [3] To have a firm resolve [or determination] not to return to it [i.e. not to commit them again]. If you owe the people their rights- wealth or [you committed offences related to blood-shed, murder or causing injury etc] or violating their honour, then their rights must be given back to them. This is a fourth affair related to a complete repentance. It is incumbent upon you to give the people the rights they are owed. If the affair is related to retribution, then retribution is established [i.e. by the state], unless they [i.e. the people] permit that you give blood money; if related to wealth, you give them back their wealth, unless they forgive; if related to their honour and you did backbite them, you should seek their forgiveness; but if seeking their forgiveness will lead to evil, then there is no hindrance in refraining from [informing them that you did backbite them and that you seek their forgiveness]; rather you should supplicate for them and seek Allaah’s forgiveness for them, and mention the good you know about them in the same place you did mention them with evil. This will be expiation for (that sin of backbiting). And it is incumbent upon you to proceed –without delay- towards repentance before death, and then exercise patience and be truthful.

The Means to a Loving Relationship and Strong Bond Between Husband and Wife- By Shaikh Uthaymeen [rahimahullaah]

Shaikh Uthaymeen [rahimahullaah] said: If a person says: What will make a man love his wife and vice versa? We say: Allaah has clarified this in His statement:

وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ

And live with them honourably. [Soorah An-Nisaa’ Aayah 19]

If every person lives with his wife honourably and vice versa, then love, a strong bond and a happy married life will be established.

2 Ahadeeth on Compassion Towards Our Wives

The Prophet (sallahualayhiwasallam) said:

“The best of you are those who are the best to their wives; and I am the best of you to my wives.” (Tirmidhi 3895. Declared authentic by Imaam Albaani in Sahih at-Tirmidhi)

The Prophet (sallahualayhiwasallam) said:

“You never spend anything, except that you will be rewarded for it; even the morsel of food that you lift to your wife’s mouth” (Bukhaari 6352 & Muslim 1628)

Characteristics of the Khawaarij – Shaykh Saalih Al-Fawzaan

Shaykh Saalih Al-Fawzaan (hafidahullah) was asked:

Is there present in this present time, those who carry the ideology of the Khawaarij (renegades)?

He (Hafidahullah) replied:

“Yaa Subhaanallah (Far removed is Allah from every imperfection)! This is present right now, are these not the actions of the Khawaarij?

Excommunicating Muslims (from Islaam) and worse than that, killing of Muslims; attacking them with bombs; this is the methodology of the Khawaarij.

And it comprises of three affairs:

Firstly: Excommunicating Muslims from Islaam.

Secondly: Exiting from obedience of the (Muslim) ruler.

Thirdly: Making permissible the blood of the Muslims. (i.e. allowed to kill them).

This is the methodology of the Khawaarij and even if an individual only believes this in his heart, and does not speak about it, nor act on it, he has still become a Khaarijee (renegade), due to his Aqeedah and opinions, which have not been openly expressed by him.”(1)

(1) Shaykul Islaam ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) said about the characteristics of the Khawaarij:

“Then indeed there is none more harmful upon the Muslims than them; neither the Jews nor the Christians; for indeed they strived in killing every Muslim that did not agree with their view, declaring the blood of Muslims, their wealth and slaying of their children lawful, whilst making takfeer of them, due to their ignorance and innovations that caused to stray.” Minhaaj As-Sunnah 248/5

Majority of the following is from a translation of our Ustaadh Abu Khadeejah (hafidahullah)

Imaam Al-Aajuree (rahimahullah) said:

“Neither the scholars of old nor of these times, ever differed about the Khawārij. They regarded them as an evil people who were disobedient to Allāh, the Mighty and Majestic, and His Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) even though they prayed, fasted and exerted themselves in worship, and all of this was of no benefit to them, even though they were apparent in enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, and that did not benefit them because they are a people who interpret the Qur’aan based on what they desire and they bring extreme difficulty upon the Muslims. Verily Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam); the rightly guided caliphs; the companions and those who followed them in goodness, (Allah’s mercy on them) warned us from them.” Ash-Sharee’ah 325/1
