ABU USAAMAH TAKES HIS CUT & PASTE METHODOLOGY FROM HIS INNOVATOR SHAYKH ALI HASAN AL-HALABI

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

The Traits of An Innovator: Ali Al-Halabi’s Cutting off Speech,  Playing About with it and Distorting it’s Meanings. Abu Usaamah himself said about Ali Al-Halabi – “ I am a supporter of Ali Hasan Al-Halabi. I support him. I support what he is upon.”1.

Ali Al-Halabi is known for his cutting off speech, adding to it and distorting it, in order to support his corrupt principles. An example of this which follows is his cutting from the speech of Imaam Abdur-Rahmaan As-Sa’di (rahimahullah). Here let us first present to the reader the original text from the Imaam himself, before any distortions were added by Al-Halabi. Once the reader acquaints himself with such trickery then this is in reality enough (a reason) to bring Al-Halabi down and warn against him!

A specimen of the complete speech of Imaam Sa’di from Ar-riyaad An-Naadhirah' page 209 ^^^
A specimen of the complete speech of Imaam Sa’di from Ar-riyaad An-Naadhirah’ page 209 ^^^

Imaam as Sa’di (rahimahullah) said in the above that (slightly paraphrased) “from the repugnant dangerous mistakes is when people accept one another’s speech, then the one who hears that speech establishes love, hate, praise and dispraise based on that”. Then the Imaam further stated that “how many mistakes have been committed [through this behaviour] regarding affairs whose end result became a matter of regret?!  And how many affairs have been spread by people from other people which are complete unreality?! Or it has some reality, so lies and falsehood are added to it, especially those known for not having concern regarding what they narrate, or known for following desires. Therefore, it is obligated on an ‘aaqil (a sensible person with sound reasoning and intellect) that he ascertains, takes precaution and not to be hasty. And by way of this, the religion of a person is known [i.e. the soundness of his path], his composure and ‘aql [sound reasoning or intellect]”

So the above statement is an example of that which was doctored by Al-Halabi purposely to suit his own agenda and methodology. Ali Al-Halabi transmitted a cut down version, in his book [Manhajus Salafus Saaleh’ 2nd Edition’ page 229] from the statement of Imaam Abdur-Rahmaan As-Sadi (rahimahullaah) as follows:

 من الغلط الفاحش الخطر قبول قول الناس بعضهم ببعض، ثم يبنى عليه السامع حبا أو بغضا، ومدحا وذما؛ فكم حصل بهذا الغلط من

 أمور صار عاقبتها الندامة، وكم أشاع الناس عن الناس أمورا لا حقيقة لها بالكلية،

 فالواجب على العاقل التثبت والتحرز، وعدم التسرع.

وبهذا يعرف دين المرء ورزانته وعقله

So based on the above version (transmitted by Al-Halabi Al-Mubtadi), it means that the Imaam said “from the repugnant dangerous mistakes is when people accept one another’s speech, then the one who hears that speech establishes love, hate, praise and dispraise based on that”; then he [Halabi] went on to complete it with “how many mistakes have been committed (through this behaviour) regarding affairs whose end result became a matter of regret?!  And how many affairs have been spread by people from other people which are a complete unreality?! Therefore, it is obligated on an aaqil (i.e. a sensible person of intellect) that he ascertains, takes precaution and not to be hasty. And by way of this, the religion of a person is known (i.e. soundness of his path), his composure and aql (sound reasoning or intellect).

After Ali Al-Halabi transmitted this statement, he commented, saying: “Be careful, may Allaah protect you; the Shaikh (i.e. Imaam Sadi) did not distinguish in this warning regarding accepting from a thiqah (a reliable person) and ghayr thiqah (an unreliable person)! Indicating to the mistake that may occur even from a reliable person; and the مفاسد  (corrupt affairs), محن  (adversities, trials ordeals etc),  بلاء  (affliction) and  إحن  (enmity, rancour, malice arises from some affair) that results from it. Specimen of Halabis comments

Dear Reader take note! Halabi purposely cut out from the speech of Imaam As-Sadi in order to confuse the reader. The principle utilised by ahlus-Sunnah is that we accept the news given by the one who is thiqah (the trustworthy, reliable person) without the need to verify or check the statement. Halabi wants to distort and change this principle and so purposely omits the following sentence:

[و لها بعض الحقيقة فنميت بالكذب والزور، وخصوصا ممن عرفوا بعدم المبالاة بالنقل، أو عرف منهم الهوى –

Or it has some reality, so lies and falsehood are added to it, especially those known for not having concern regarding what they narrate, or known for following desires.”

So why is it omitted? Because if he were to include the full statement, it would no longer give credence to his own innovated principle of “having to verify from everyone – thiq’a (trustworthy) or ghayr thiq’a (non trustworthy)”. Furthermore he makes manifest his own innovated principle, as part of his notes, in order to pollute the reader’s thinking into holding that you “must check and verify the statements of a thiqa’ person”, in the same way you must verify one who isn’t thiqa’. This is in contradiction to even how Imaam as-Sa’di(rahimahullah) presented it, as he was making clear to the reader to beware those who are untrustworthy- not trustworthy.

So let us see what Imaam Sadi (rahimahullaah) stated regarding the news given by a faasiq (open sinner) and a truthful person. Allaah (The Most High) said: “O you who believe! If a faasiq comes to you with news, verify it.”

Imaam Sadi commented on this ayah saying:

“This is also from the etiquettes expected from those of understanding to adorn themselves with and implement. And that when a faasiq informs them of some news, they [should] verify the news he transmits (to them) and don’t just simply accept it; for indeed there is a grave danger in that and [risk] of falling into sin. Because if his news is made the same as that of a truthful upright person, the decision is made in accordance with that and what it necessitates. Then lost of lives and wealth occurs without due right due to that information, resulting in regret.

Rather what it is obligatory is that when a faasiq transmits news, it is verified and clarified. If the proofs and supporting factors affirm his truthfulness, it is acted upon and believed. And if they indicate to falsehood, it is declared false and not acted upon.

So in this is a proof that the news [transmitted by] the truthful one is accepted and the news from the liar rejected, while the news from a faasiq is (temporarily) suspended as we have mentioned, and that is why the Salaf would accept narrations from many of those (particular) khawaarij who were well known to be truthful, even if they were wicked sinners.”

Abu Usaamah’s Similar deceitful, cutting, pasting & doctoring to suit his own agenda- Live on stage! A Mirror of the Above from Halabi…

In 2010 Abu Usaamah ad-Dhahabi carried out a similar action, whereby he added to the words of Shaikh Sadlaan during a tele-link. This is an imitation of his mubtadi Shaykh Ali Al Halabi—about whom Abu Usamah himself said (in his feeble video defence when ending up in the wrong masjid):

I am a supporter of Ali Hasan Al-Halabi. I support him. I support what he is upon. His mistakes we put that aside. I say that in public and I say that in private.

Ustaadh Abdulilah Lahmami (may Allaah preserve him) caught him at the time, writing:

“Then Abu Usama Khalifah added in the translation that Sheikh Rabee’ should stop “cursing the dead people… “Due to a hadeeth of the Prophet salallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam mentioning this. This addition was not mentioned by Sheikh Sadlan in the Arabic so take note.”

So once again, Abu Usaamah was caught out, adding to the speech of the Shaykh in order to cause confusion, and fitnah; and spread rancour in the hearts of the people toward Shaykh Rabee’ (hafidhahullah)- and this due to nothing except, that which burns inside him, against the noble Shaykh; and the Salafis as a whole. Ustaadh Abdulilah (may Allaah preserve him) also said:

“After visiting Sheikh Rabee’ ibn Haadi Al-Madkhali this weekend, he added that one should clarify to the people that he does not curse the dead (as Abu Usama khalifah added) and likewise to make mention that the scholars have always refuted the errors of those who have erred. Likewise, these refutations are a mercy for the dead so that people don’t follow them in their errors.’’2

Here we remind you again the statement of Shaikh Muhammad Baazmool: “And whenever you find the statement of a muhaqqiq scholar being utilized as proof by a person of bid’ah and falsehood in seeking to establish his falsehood; and you refer that statement back to its original source- you will not find except that this (person of falsehood) did cut off and separate some part of it from another part.’’3

And so we can see that the bid’ee Abu Usaamah is just a mirror of his innovator Shaykh Ali Hassan Al-Halabi. There is no difference in their methodology! This is affirmed by Abu Usaamah ad-Dhahabi’s own statements as quoted before; as well as his actions, wherein both have been caught twisting speech of the Scholars of truth and Sunnah, in order to suit their agenda and ideology that they want to promote.

It is important that the noble reader is made aware of such sneaky trickery, lest they be taken in by their speech, and be taken astray, and with Allah is the success.

Abu Usaamah Hurls Vile Abuse at Brothers Calling to Allah

Yesterday afternoon (Thursday 12th November 2015) in Birmingham City Centre, the Salafi brothers as usual had set up our stall to invite non-Muslims to Islam and to invite weaker Muslims to take seriously their religion and learn about Tawheed and worship.

At some stage during that afternoon the misguided innovator (declared as such by Shaikh Ahmad an-Najmee) Abu Usamah Ath-Thahabi of Green Lane Mosque walked past the Salafi da’wah stall. We carried on as normal without looking towards him or acknowledging him and he did the same.

An hour or so later, one of the younger brothers helping distribute leaflets, informed me that Abu Usamah has been stood in a doorway staring up towards the stall for a long time. Approximately 10 minutes later, I being the eldest of the Salafi brothers there and the one that was in charge of the stall, was standing 10-15 meters away from the stall advising one of the younger brothers. Abu Usamah walked towards the two of us saying foul obscenities, that were clearly audible. He slowed down in front of us and was saying “m****** f*******” “F****** c****”

We did not to react to his insults but merely asked him;

“Brother are you speaking to us ?”

There was no one else present and he was not on the phone, we then advised him to control his tongue and fear Allaah.

He responded by saying;
“You wasn’t supposed to hear that but I’m having a f****** bad day and a f****** bad time and you guys need to leave me the f*** alone”

I said to him;
“Even if we wasn’t supposed to hear you the first time, you’re still swearing now fear Allaah”

However, Abu Usamah, not known for his moderation or fear of Allaah only became more vocal by raising his voice in the middle of the city centre with further insults and threats of violence.

We moved slightly away from him, as he was stood directly in front of us and gave him sallaam and advised him to move on but he continued with his foul speech and came back in front of us.

The younger Salafi brother that I was advising prior to him approaching us asked him
“Why are you talking to us like this, would you speak like this on the minbar ?” and then recited from the Qur’aan

And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with Peace & mild words of gentleness.
(Al-Furqan, Verse 63)

When Abu Usamah heard the Ayat, instead of reflecting upon the Speech of Allaah and rectify his words and actions, he became more incensed and made three or four attempts to reach out his hand towards the head or face of the younger Salafi brother saying ;
“come out of town and I’ll smash your f******* face.”
I and another of the more senior members of the table that had come over, kept Abu Usamah away from reaching the younger brother by pushing his hand away from the younger ones face and told him to move on. At this point Abu Usamah said; “come on let’s go out of town and I’ll beat the three of you **** ******* (using more obscene language)

He put up his fist and said ;
“We use these where I come from”

We continued to stand in front of him to stop him getting to the younger (and smaller) brother repeating ;
“As-sallaam alaikum” every time he spoke with his foul language.

When he realised that we were not going to respond he shouted loudly in the middle of the city centre towards the younger brother,
“Your mother!”
His intention behind this statement was clear and is a known insult to people from the Afro American/Caribbean community, which means to have illicit sexual relations with your mother.

I could not believe what this criminal was uttering and advised him, “Fear Allaah, how could you say these words about a brother and his mother?!”, to which he responded by reviling me and my mother, saying;
“Your mother too”, again the meaning and intent was clear.

Before I could react, another of the senior brothers of the table, that had also come over by then, pulled me away and reminded me that he was an innovator that had spoken ill of Shaykh Rabee and even worse, he had spoken ill of Abu Bakr radi’Allaahu annhu, so who was my mother in comparison, may Allaah reward the brother.

Abu Usamah continued to insult, swear and abuse the brothers that had come into the city to aid the da’wah and call to Allaah. I turned around to see him
show his prowess by pulling the hat off the head of the young brother and walk away with it, claiming that he was ready to fight the young brother and he must come and fight him for his hat.

He made such a scene that eventually the police had to calm the situation down and detain him to take his details before moving him on.

This was witnessed by dozens of passers-by, including a brother that attends Green Lane Masjid, who later spoke to us saying he could not believe what he had witnessed and said he would not go back to that masjid while Abu Usamah was still teaching there. The latter part of his actions was also witnessed by a woman that had joined Abu Usamah (presumably his wife). Even in front of his wife, he had no shame.

Abu Usamah is in reality a coward, fool and sinner who does not fear Allaah, and cares little about the filth that spews from his mouth.

We have been informed that the scene was recorded by some passers-by,
so if/when that becomes available, you can see for yourself the filth that this man is capable of. His innovations have proved he is no Salafi – his open sins prove that he is not God fearing.

“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last day then let him speak good or remain silent”

Friday Incident at The Salafi Centre & Abu Usaamah Dhahabi

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

After the ‘Foundations of the Sunnah’ lesson yesterday, I was asked about an incident that occurred at Jum’uah (Fri 1st April) at the Salafi Centre; whereby inexplicably Abu Usama Dhahabi, of the deviant GLM organisation, walked in, took the microphone claiming he was the khateeb- apparently believing he was scheduled to do the khutbah there! In reality he was scheduled with the hizbees across the road (the followers of the takfeeri innovator al Magharawi, the ones who cut the phone line on Shaikh Rabee’ when he was advising them to abandon the innovator Al-Ma’ribi, etc.). He was promptly removed from the masjid. So the question is: Was it correct to remove him?

We can answer this from a number of angles, that will leave no doubt in anyone’s mind that this action was correct and in fact completely necessary!

So firstly: What kind of unbelievable extreme mental block and delusional state must somebody be in, to walk into a masjid, take the microphone and be on the verge of starting the Khutba… and NOT EVEN realise that it is not the masjid you have been invited to; instead, somewhere completely different?! Bear in mind, that he has been to the hizbees across the road before anyway! So it cannot be said, that he was somehow unaware of the layout of the masjid at all. It is still perplexing and baffling to the Salafis of Manchester how his mind didn’t “click”, when he walked into a completely new and unrecognised environment to the hizbee location he was invited to even though he has ALREADY visited it previously. We can only imagine his bewilderment when he must’ve seen new faces he didn’t recognise at all, and couldn’t see any of his hizbee comrades waiting to greet him. Alas, the proverbial pennies were clearly in short supply, hence the lack of any of them ‘dropping’. Yet he proceeded still to ask for the mic to be clipped onto his collar, to begin his khutbah!Despite our utmost efforts, we still cannot comprehend how on Earth such stupidity is even possible.

Secondly: Upon finally locating a penny to drop… it dropped… and the mic was removed, leaving him utterly confused, bemused & bamboozled by his (own) unbelievable stupidity. So belatedly he began to make his way out, and when loitering around the corridor, and further more being asked to leave, he muttered words to the effect of “I know how to go JAAHILIYYAH on you”. Now shocking as this may seem, it shouldn’t surprise anyone, as its what we’ve become accustomed to with this individual. We all know very well, how he goes all “jaahiliyyah” on people; and if anyone needs a refresh, please read about his restaurant nervous breakdown, where he almost beat up a couple of young brothers half his age (http://www.salaficentre.com/2014/08/abu-usamah-ad-dhahabi-glm-despicable-attempted-assault-must-read ) and Allah’s aid is sought!

It is truly amazing! Can anyone imagine any of the Scholars, going all “JAAHILIYYAH” on people?! Or perhaps this is the new “hip”, “street”, “cool”, “reach-out-to-the-gangster-Youth”, vibe of dawa, being implemented by him, and his likes (the likes of Aasim al Hakeem with his “your mother” comment (https://twitter.com/1mmeducation/status/715546135335739393) and the “Dawa Men” with their infamous sperm drinking debacle).

Thirdly: What was the parting comment of this so-called great student of knowledge, (referred to by many as a “Shaykh Abu Usama Dhahabi”(!)) toward the Salafi brothers, who ushered him out. I quote, from witnesses present, he uttered words to the effect, “If this was in my masjid I’d crack your head open”?!… A student of knowledge saying this? A “Shaikh”? Yes, indeed… an even the young children at the masjid were almost in tears from laughter when hearing that a so-called great “student” speaks like this!. Alhamdulillaah we didn’t learn to “crack people’s heads” from our Salafi scholars when studying in Madinah… Allah knows best what he learnt…

So considering all the facts, then there is no issue whatsoever in having removed him.

1) He attempted to take the Mimbar & Mic with NO invitation whatsoever (upon his completely & utterly unbelievable lack of ability to distinguish between the Hizbi location he was invited to and our Salafi Masjid…which has a huge banner at the entrance “Salafi Centre of Manchester” and in Arabic too المركز السلفي!)

2) He threatened brothers with speech typically expected of a thug off the backstreets of some rundown slum… Threatening to CRACK someone’s HEAD, despite the fact that it was he who attempted to take the Mimbar & deliver a Khutbah?!
Passing the blame is typical cowardice; despite it being his mistake it was the ones ejecting him who needed their heads “cracking”. This is further evidence of this mans delusional state and typical of his characteristic of being in “denial” of reality. Even though he was completely at fault for the WHOLE incident – Dhahabi cannot bring himself to accept it; and it is always we the Salafis that have to be at fault. The same Salafis who were peacefully waiting for their Salafi khateeb… until he – a man declared a deviant by Sh Ahmad Najmy – “gatecrashed” like no one has ever gatecrashed before.

3) And this brings us to the most important points to this entire saga. Abu Usaamah Dhahabi is known to cooperate with deviants and share platforms with them at GLM… Shaykh Ahmad an Najmee was asked about this individual to which he replied:

“موقفكم منه كموقفهم من أهل البدعة أعرض عنه و اتركه”

“Your position with him is the same as your position with the people of innovation. Turn away from him and abandon him.”

Shaykh Uthaymeen in his explanation of Imaam Nawawee’s 40 Hadith said: “If the one that eats, garlic and onions is prevented from entering the masjid, how about the one that corrupts the people’s religion? Is he not more deserving of being prevented from entering? Indeed [he is], by Allah! But many people are unaware!”
Hence, it was completely and utterly correct to remove him from both the minbar and the masjid; and all praise is to Allah and with Allah lies the success
