Shaikh Ubaid Al-Jaabiri Praises Shaikh Abdullah Al-Bukhaari and mentioned why he is attacked!

Shaikh Ubaid (may Allaah preserve him) responded when asked about some of those who ascribe themselves to Salafiyyah, who divert the students from the lessons of Shaikh Abdullah al-Bukhaari (may Allaah preserve him) and speak ill of him… so the Shaikh stated….

*Shaikh Abdullah Al-Bukhaari is our brother; a beloved one to us and our companion…

*It would not be an exaggeration to say that Shaikh Abdullah al-Bukhari is worthy of being referred to as Allaamah…

*Shaikh says that he has known Shaikh Abdullah for more than fifteen years or perhaps twenty years…..

*Shaikh says that Shaikh Abdullah is a salafi; a person of hadeeth and fiqh, who relies or depends on evidences…..

*Shaikh says that Shaikh Abdullah refutes some of those who stir up discord; those who mix up affairs (or cause confusion) – and they are those who speak ill of people occasionally by way of corrupt principles and innovated fundamentals…

*Shaikh says that do attend the lessons of Shaikh Abdullah Al-Bukhaari and benefit from him…

Hadeeth: The Worldly Life Is For Four Types of People

Narrated Abu Kabshah Al-An’maariy (radiyallaahu-anhu) that Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: “I swear by Allah regarding three (affairs) which I am going to tell, so remember them. The wealth of a man does not decrease due to (giving) charity; a slave does not exercise patience when oppressed, except that Allah increases his honour; a slave does not open the door of begging, except that Allaah opens for him the door of poverty (or he stated a statement similar to it).”

I am going to tell you (something), so remember it: The worldly life is for four types of people.

[A] A slave whom Allaah has given wealth and knowledge, so he fears his Lord by way of it. He preserves the ties of kinship and acknowledges Allaah’s Rights regarding it. This (type of person) is on the most virtuous position.

[B] A slave whom Allaah has given knowledge but not wealth. He is truthful in his intention and says: `If I had wealth, I would have done the deed of such and such (person).’’ So because of this intention of his, his reward is the same (i.e. the righteous one who has been given wealth and knowledge).

[C] A slave whom Allaah has given wealth but not knowledge. He wastes his wealth out of ignorance. He neither fears Allaah nor does he keep the ties of kinship, nor does he acknowledge Allaah’s rights. This (type of person) is at the evilest position.

[D] A slave whom Allaah has neither given wealth nor knowledge and he says: `If I had wealth, I would have done the deed of such and such (person).’’ So by way of his intention, they are similar (i.e. similar to the evil person who wastes his wealth). [1]

Shaikh Ubaid (may Allaah preserve him) stated:

The first is a wealthy person who is thankful (to Allaah); so Allaah will raise him to the most virtuous position due to his deed.

The second is a poor person who exercises patience. He is truthful in his intention with regards to spending from that which Allaah has bestowed on him. So Allaah makes him reach the most virtuous position due to his truthful intention.

The third is a boastful wealthy person. He is covetous and stingy; so his deed takes him to the most evil position.

The fourth is a boastful poor person and his intention is evil. So together with his poverty, his intention takes him to the most evil position.

So based on this, we know that by way of truthful intentions Allaah raises the person. And an evil intention debases a person until he finds him/herself in the most evil position. [2]

Summarized benefits: Shaikh Ubaid says: Saalim At-Taweel is a Miskeen; Misguided and lost one!

Listen to audio here:

Shaikh Ubaid (may Allaah preserve him) comments on Saalim At-Taweel’s statement that At-Tahazzub (illegal partisanship) is present in the Nufoos of all the people and even Asabiyyah (zealous partisanship) was present within the Sahaabah….

Shaikh Ubaid stated:

*He has known the utterer of this statement for nearly 21 years and he is from Kuwait. …

*He used to be with the (salafiyyoon) and then he complied with what deviated him…

*If he wished he would have mentioned his name…

The statement  that At-tahazzub (illegal partisanship) is present in all the people is incorrect because Ahlus Sunnah are the Hizbullaah (The party of Allaah)-they do not come together except based on the Book of Allaah, the Sunnah of the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) and the understanding of the Salaf; rather At-Tahazzub (illegal partisanship) is found with the innovators. For instance you find that sometimes a man is one who intermingles—sometimes he goes with Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen; sometimes with the Tableeghees and sometimes with other deviated groups regardless of the differing in the religion (i.e. blameworthy differing in Aqeedah and Manhaj)….

The sahaabah are not Ahzaab [i.e. divergent parties or groups]; rather they are Al-Muhaajiroon (i.e. the believers who migrated from Makkah and joined the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) in Madeenah] and Al-Ansaar (i.e. those believers in Madeenah who welcomed the Immigrants]…..

This statement which was uttered by this man-a Miskeen; misguided and lost one- is evidence against the people of illegal partisanship and the illegal partisans are Mubtadia. They do not come together except based on what they desire…..

Excuse us for this summary due to lack of time. Perhaps brothers can work on the full translation and share it. Jazaakumullaahu khayran. May Allaah (The Most High) guide Saalim At-Taweel and his companions (Ruhayli, Halabi etc) or protect us from their falsehood. Aameen.
