Are you among those who still act immaturely by mocking or defaming individuals with different viewpoints on COVID-19-related issues?

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

The authenticity of the medical practices attributed to the Prophet must be verified by examining their transmission chains. Similarly, the validity of medical practices based on opinions should be evaluated to determine if they are reliable, unreliable, or flawed. It is crucial for doctors and researchers to not become vulnerable targets for those who aim to spread ideas that contradict Islam and harm Muslims. Instead, they should understand that any information related to modern medicine should be thoroughly researched and verified. [Excerpt from Akhlaaq At-Tabeeb Al-Muslim pages 4]

Certainly, numerous issues have become evident to many people who were inclined to listen to fearmongers in the mainstream media and unjustly defamed those who posed critical inquiries. Presently, it has become apparent to everyone that some journalists in the mainstream media were involved in fearmongering, manipulation, and hiding the truth. Their primary tool was character assassination, which they employed against any scientist who dared to question their narrative regarding the safety of the experimental Covid 19 vaccines in the Western world and the advantages of strict social distancing measures. It is evident to any impartial observer that those fearmongers failed to offer the public a clear understanding of the true state of affairs, opting instead to present information in a way that obstructed full comprehension and led people to perceive the situation in a manner inconsistent with reality. At times, individuals were misled into believing they had a grasp of the affair, despite evidence suggesting otherwise. In other instances, they were convinced they understood a situation, even though they were aware of conflicting information that could also be valid. However, out of fear of being labelled as conspiracy theorists and facing public ridicule, they chose to ignore credible sources of information. However, there is no room for speculation at present. It is important to highlight that regardless of the perspective held by individuals – whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims – on the scientific data related to vaccines and social distancing, we are not obligated to adopt or support their viewpoints. Instead, this matter is open to Ijtihaad among scientists, researchers, and health professionals. Hence, ridiculing or defaming individuals who do not support the beliefs of vaccine advocates and proponents of social distancing is simply impolite, and categorising them as conspiracy theorists is akin to defamation. So beware that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “Verily, the worst act of usury is to attack the reputation of a Muslim without a just cause”. [Sahih Sunan Abu Dawud 4876] This is referred to as usury because the offender sets a standard for his reputation and then surpasses it, essentially adding an excess that violates the boundaries of a Muslim’s honour, which is deemed more valuable than his material wealth. At-Teebee [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “Honour is considered a form of wealth in terms of importance, and usury is divided into the customary type, which involves taking more from debtors, and the non-customary type, such as verbally attacking someone’s honour.” Al-Qaadhee [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “Attacking a Muslim’s honor involves treating them in a manner that exceeds what should be said about them or what is permissible to say, hence why it is likened to usury and seen as a form of it; furthermore, it is considered even worse due to the increased harm and severity of corruption it entails.” [An Excerpt from “Mirqaatul Mafaateeh Sharh Mishkaat Al-Masaabeeh”. 8/3157]

If you belong to any group that continues to ridicule or categorise individuals as conspiracy theorists simply because they challenge the irrational beliefs of fearmongers, opt out of vaccination, and question the effectiveness of social distancing measures in the Western world with supporting evidence, you must cease engaging in such foolish conduct. Are you not aware of the fact that some of the fearmongers in the Western mainstream media even propagated Shirk in this affair?! Read:
